Yoly Ledezma is an extremely sought after Mata Ortiz potter. Mata Ortiz pottery originates in Chihuahua, Mexico, and continues the traditions of the ancient Casas Grandes culture. The geometric precision, etched motifs, and polish suggest it belongs to the modern phase of Mata Ortiz pottery (1980s–present), when artisans began signing individual pieces and expanding into global collector markets.
