I just started in June, and am thrilled that Poshmark has started supporting men's clothing, because I have a lot of nice men's especially young men's clothing. I am just adding a few listings everyday. It just makes me think that the seller hasn't taken good care of it. I am more attracted to a nice cover shot of a great item, especially at a great price! I am originally from Dallas but grew up in LA and moved back to Texas about 10 years ago to Bastrop, outside of Austin, after finding our dream home, our first time buying a house. And then we lost it in the wildfires that happened a few years back I we ended moving back to CA in order to buy a house that we could move my mother into so I could care for her. Unfortunately, she passed just a few weeks later,

I did spend a lot of time in Texarkana when I was growing up and I love it there! I have a lot of family there and my mother and brother are both buried there so I'd LOVE to move there.

shabbychic45 @danalouf wow! I know exactly where Bastrop is. That's terrible that you list your dream home in those horrible fires!! I can't even imagine what that must have been for you and family!! What line of work is your husband in? Mine works for Chevron but right now is on disability because he suffered several strokes in April. Surprisingly he is doing very well. The picture of him and me in Alaska was taken at the v end of June. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary.

shabbychic45 @danalouf He started back to work in July but he didn't pass there cognitive evaluation. So he is back home going to more therapy for memory. He never lost any mobility which is a huge blessing!! But he has suffered some in short term memory, focus and his personality is different slightly. He is a little more moody and is easily frustrated. But it has only been 4 months since it happened,. Doctors expect him to make a full recovery!!

High end designer pieces, silk material, high end leather - all new I was getting offers for $16 & $18 dollars. Sometimes $12. I had to put a message up. I will still consider an offer on something reduced just once or if it makes sense.

If not, no skin of my back! These are things that I already had. So I am not trying to recoup a loss. I will put price firm on my back to school items that I already have listed at my lowest price and still they will try to take advantage!

mpp2108 @shabbychic45 it is good to hear your input. I became to the end of the offer game when a sweater that started out on PM as $120.00 was $28.00. A buyer wanted it for $18.00. I bought the sweater for $200.00. Marked it as $120.00. It was never worn, had tags. I then put it on multiple sales and it got finally to $28.00.

mpp2108 @shabbychic45 $28.00 seemed fair. because an offer was there I thought I had to counter. I offered $26.00. The potential buyer would not move past $24.00. Why do I even have to offer back if a $200.00 designer new sweater has been dropped to $28.00? When I am the buyer, at times I will offer 2 or 3 dollars less to help with the shipping. If the seller disagrees I still buy the item. You have been doing excellent on PM. I have questions to ask u. Thanks 4 listening & sharing.

Maybe give her through tomorrow and send her another message to give her time to respond. She must be new and not realize how to bundle or she didn't know to ask for a custom bundle. But let her cancel. However, I do think you did the right thing by letting her know. Congrats on your sales!

My mother and I are at odds due to circumstances that I discussed in my letter to you. She put me in a horrible position and I couldn't speak to her for months. This was not my fault nor my doing, but my struggle with anxiety and nightmares was 100X worse because I felt like "I SHOULD" call her or "I SHOULD" do this or that. (continued)

I even told her that I would never speak to her again if she ever put my in that particular situation again, and "I FELT GUILTY". Somehow it was once again my fault. My doc said I did the absolute right thing. I set fair boundaries and fair consequences. He told me that I am not being fair to myself by feeling guilty or that I should be doing this or that. I countered at full price and then gave him a polite piece of my mind. I know the important stuff like I want a beer or some wine or how much does this cost and then then when I get totally sloshed I can ask for cafe'. So in order to make the accent, you hit the control key along with the accent key and then hit the e. Sometimes you have to do it twice for it to show up on poshmark. On my phone I just hold down my e until I get the options for the accented e.

shabbychic45 @ilovejaceevan Hi there! A PFF is similar to a BPP. It means Posh Friend Forever. Having a tag list takes work. You really need to get permission to have a "tag list". That is why I have a listing dedicated specifically to my tag list.

Right now, I recommend that you subscribe to only one or two tag lists. I do not share all follow games, only those that are set up correctly and which are active by the posher. Right now I am promoting @retagit tag list as she is also following the same FG sharing guidelines as I am. It is important that the games we play are fair to all, otherwise, what's the point of wasting time? So if you are subscribed to mine and hers that should be plenty unless you want to subscribe to a party share tag list.

I keep getting added to tag lists all the time, I just politely ask them to remove me and they do. But it does get a little frustrating, once I get it cleaned up, it starts all over again. LOL!

In fact I am learning French on my own through the Pemsleur course. I can speak some and can understand a simple conversation. Like How far is it, How much does a beer cost, I want to buy something. fleurdelis13 @shabbychic45 French is my first language. I grew up in the suburbs of Paris but my husband is American. I have been in the US for 27 years. It's great that you are learning French. It is hard to learn compared to English especially with figuring out if a word is masculine or feminine, learning all the verb tenses, and learning the sounds like "arbre" or "peu". It is funny to hear my husband and kids pronounce some of the words. If you need any help, please let me know.

elevens I just noticed I am not following the people I am pressing the follow button for. Not sure how long this has been happening. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. It works for a little while then stops. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a maximum number you can follow before the app assumes you are a robot or something?

shabbychic45 @elevens Here's what happens. You are following them, but sometimes you just have to refresh your page. Sometimes when you either enter a comment or follow someone, and then go back with the back button, it will usually look like you haven't commented or followed. However, try going out the post and then re-opening the post, and you should then see that your follows are there. I don't mean to you have to close the app, just exit the post and then click on it again and re-open it.

I shut down the app & went back later to finish and none of the people I had followed before shutting the app showed I was following. I did this several times follow, shut app, go back and it never showed I was following. It happened on the follow games too. It finally worked after I uninstalled & reinstalled, bur only for a little while. I am going to send posh support a note.....

p_joyceschoices So that is why I am so embarrassed bc I let my husband help me a lot of the time setting up and arguing with him over hanging clothing from the fence was my loss in both ways lol.Men,they usually don't know much about fashion, usually! shelpen You gave me so much information. I have to go to Emory in Atlanta tomorrow to get another eye treatment and to another doctor to get glasses. Just please share with me where that beautiful clear water is in the photo above. I want a retirement home with water like that and my husband bought a lake home that has murky water. shelpen @shabbychic45 wow. I was in Grand Cayman probably back in the 80s for a glorious week. I loved every day. We got out to all the good locals restaurants. I remember it was the first time in a hotel without a TV. I thought I would absolutely go crazy. But after a full days and a few good drinks, We found we could go to sleep listening to some good music on the radio. Would love to go back.

shabbychic45 @scgirl1961 Thank you so much for checking b on me!! I live in Pearland which is about 20 mins south of Houston. Our area for anywhere between 35-45 inches of rain during a 3 day period. We were so fortunate because our neighborhood and my children's neighborhoods were sister Harvey's wrath. We just couldn't go anywhere and the post office is holding mail. I have a couple of packages that are waiting to be sent out. But blessed with understanding posh buyers. Thanks again!!

So she set up a separate acct under his name and pretended she was him. She set up the game in his acct because she was worried that she would get booted out of poshmark analytics fb group. shabbychic45 I also had someone who commented negatively about michelle/Freddie on their post and I happened to see it. Then yesterday she asked if she could be part of our team. I sent her a polite mssg stating I had read her comment and wondered why she would want to be in our team in lieu of theirs, what was her purpose. She never responded back. I still feel sad that it had ended this easy and they don't understand my choice.

ppamprrd @shabbychic45 here is,what is so odd..i don't even understand why anything escalated like that. The question I have is: Is there an option to do both Groups? Do I have to pick? I will say one thing...just my new observation due to new algorithms. Following isn't really helping me like it did before, and I find that my only exposure now seems to come from listings. Do you have an opinion on the new algorithms?

It's a little more complicated than the watered down version, but when a sparks hits a dry leaf fire ensues and it takes an army to put it out. But as for your other question. I think it comes from both following and sharing your own items. Sharing others is a good gesture, but more payoff comes from sharing your own stuff.

tdannunz Hello, you told a previous user when she first opened her closet about reading some sort of list ( I think you called it itv list?) I believe it was a list items that you are not allowed to list as they are non compliant with Poshmark. Can you please tell me where I can find that list so I confirm I’m being compliant? I was pretty sick back then for abt 2 wks and couldn't get on much and when I did time was limited, been playing catch up and trying to stay caught up since. shelpen @shabbychic45 I went to Grand Cayman probably 35 years ago and thought it was perfect. We ate at some of the local restaurants — Everything conch. I would love to have gone on to see Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. My friend booked us a nice room, but it had no television on purpose. I found out I really could go to sleep listening to music on the radio. Fun times.
