teemiox @lesleymmc I believe it is necessary to self-share! It's all about getting exposure, and IF I read correctly from somewhere... selfshares will put your listing in the Poshmark feed - where as sharing others will share only to your followers! :P

teemiox @cmadugu Thank you!! I am OCD about organization lol! 🙈 I sort my stuff by similar colors. When I self-share I usually start at the end of my list (before the Sold marker listing) and just share all the way to the top! I don't really sort by any particular categories - but I try to keep visual balance by having a variety of items in one row - and keep in mind that poshmark has 4 items per row on the web version and 2 per row on mobile. Hope these help and lmk if I could help with anything!

teemiox @lesleymmc (cont) But if you are able to choose the items that are in/trendy/quick turnover, then it is a profitable venture. I would suggest building a large following first before doing a boutique! There are some popular niche here... plus size stuff for example, seems to be doing very well! These are all my personal opinion from observation :P may or may not be true! I'm no expert on this stuff so do take it with a grain of salt haha!

teemiox @reuseagain Morning! If you are talking about tagging people in party listings - I use notepad! I keep a pre-typed note with all the names I have and just copy-paste from my phone! As for sending notes to 'likes' in certain page... I don't know if there is a faster way! On the phone app, when you type a letter it will show a list of people who liked it under that initial, but there is no way to go back and forth to check the list...

I may just create my own. I can't do the follow game every day. It's a little too much for me but I try about 3 times per week. My closet sales have slowed down ☹️

lesleymmc @teemiox I agree! And as far as the SHARE GROUPS that's why I only did Meghan's because it was fun and unique but takes a lot of time and I already spend so much time on poshmark anyway. Between building my closet and all the shares and comments it's a full time job right now. I'm disabled from a workplace injury and suffer with severe chronic pain, amongst other things, it's not quite as easy for me.

Just taking photos, I can only do about 4/day so it's slow going. But at least I've found something I can do to bring in a little $$. It helps 💕

teemiox @busnerd Hey there! Once a listing is shared it will go to the top of your closet since it sorts to 'Just Shared' by default. And that's how I organize - by sharing items in similar colors and 'grouping' them together - nothing fancy haha! I hope that helps + best of luck with your Poshmark adventures ! ☺️💕

teemiox @saruhsto There's this theory about how those rapid 10 shares of the same items gets 'buried' in feed to avoid overload. Since ppl usually share your top 10s, it's not an effective way of sharing 🤔 unless! You rotate the items super frequently...!

I like emmegreen's groups, because the rule is to scroll & choose randomly - NO top 8! I did join this one where we share 30 items of each others per week - same ladies every week, there's like 15 - mostly, it's just a place to talk strategy, successes etc. and that's been pretty nice. Sales have been SOOOOO SLOOOWWWWWW! I'm dying!

teemiox @jessicapacz I think more than half a year is quite a long time to be honest! I didn't do anything special other than joining lots of share groups pretty early on, I believe those helped a lot - but they can be very time-consuming. Sharing your own listings also help "get the word out", and that also requires a lot of time if you have tons of listings.

teemiox @nirupamarachuri As far as sharing goes, there are several ways to go about it... you can share listings from your feed, or join share groups. When I started, I was able to get sales through the help of many share groups that I joined - it's all about having your items seen by as many people as possible! Since the ladies there have a lot more followers than I did then, having them share my listings gave them more exposure, if you know what I mean! So that helped me a whole lot!

I try to take photos on sunny days only, and I always switch lights off since my lights throw a yellowish tinge that I don't like. There is nothing fancy with my setup at all haha! 😆🙈

I was diagnosed with skin cancer 2 weeks ago on two spots on my nose of all places🙄I have been on a topical chemo treatment for the last week and have continue until the end of March . Then a day after I did that to pretty much all my stuff they have a event for that eeehh! 😂 Things with those keywords /colors/ brands go into the showrooms automatically! Sometimes if I see something that might fit, but don’t have that specific keyword, I would go and edit the listing, either change the title or add in description!

I really need to get over that mentally bc I've heard it increases sales by a lot! I need to get better about updating. I usually make 2 sales a week and I feel like for how much I have posted I need to sell more.

yoga4joy @teemiox I need to decrease my prices and get better photos. It's honestly like a job haha! Worth it but time consuming. And a bit addicting lol. Wishing you lots and lots of sales asap! I think after everyone gets their tax returns sales will increase again. There can be dry spells I think.

teemiox @yoga4joy I made a separate insta because I don't want to bombard my friends with sales ads lol :p And I"m on the same boat since I'm back - very very few sales, no sign of it picking up, either! I'm guessing it's because I have fewer active listings, plus moving means less time spent here, but I need to do a closet revamp soon...! Best of luck to both of us :)

I’m back, moved, and saving up for the next trip 🙌 Share groups are still running, but I rarely join any now, there was this interesting ... analytical group that does this “like” and share thing. The theory was more likes = more exposure. Sales remain pretty slow for the most part 😂
