de Passille Sylvestre vintage modernist enamel flower brooch / pin

Québec was a hotbed of modernist enamel jewelry design in the 1970s. Self-taught artisans Micheline de Passillé and her partner Yves Sylvestre were innovators in copper, silver, and gold art enamelling. Their bold jewelry and decor items are highly collectible. This vintage de Passillé-Sylvestre gold tone brooch features a flower in copper, black and white coloured enamel. The brooch is signed by the artists “de Passillé-Sylvestre” and “Fait au Québec, Made in Canada” on the reverse. Very good vintage condition.
