This is local art from Lima, Peru. Saw it made by an artisan who had his gear in a small shop near a local market. Bought several of them as a “travel”gift. These were the days back in 1980’s when travel was not as popular and when the internationalization of markets was just starting.. not sure how rare it is today as I have not been back in Lima! On some pictures the light reflection causes white or yellow spots. On the real object, you do not have those defects. Green paint is covered with lacker on the front. Hue vary with light. Closer to the real thing is the featured picture. Roll over pin to secure it. Quarter is for sizing. Condition: no flaw. Like new. Never used.
