Multicoloured striped zippered wristlet / clutch. kate spade new york’s On Purpose Collection. “On Purpose” is an ongoing collaboration project since 2014 between kate spade & Company and women artisans in Masoro, Rwanda, whose specialty is beading and embroidery-work. kate spade has helped these women hone their craft and taught them how to set up and build their own businesses. Together with kate spade & Company, they have formed a for-profit handbag manufacturing organization. Today, On Purpose has over 150 full-time artisans who are paid a monthly salary, which has in turn helped to support their families. Wristlet has been on one vacation.
