People share like crazy when they know you're hosting! I am so grateful bc I believe those shares have made my sales jump up!

I totally understand...I worked today almost 5 and a half hours on my day off and I've been staying up late on here and working later almost every day this week 🙃 Lol...I seriously don't know how I'm still functioning haha! @flandis Hi! Well, I am not really sure LOL! I actually never used Posh until Feb this year. I just followed a lot of people everyday. Most follow back. When I got up to following abt 35k, I deleted them all except the ones I shop from the most, just to curate my news feed specifically to my taste. I try to keep bright photos and a good bit of inventory at reasonable prices (continued....)

@flandis I share a lot, I participate in the evening parties, congratulating the HPs, they usually in turn follow you. I emailed PM right away to get put on SU list, and I made it woohoo! Just by being an SU for a week has gained almost 3k followers. Also, asking for HPs and getting them gets followers. Just really have clean covershots and be very active :)

@bad_betty hi :) good question! When you share listings, what you share first goes to the bottom, & what u share last goes to the top. So to divide sections, share, for example, the top u want at the bottom of that section first. Then share the rest of the tops, then lastly share the "Tops" divider listing. The listings u want Poshers to see first in your closet need to be shared last. Continued...

@bad_betty With the "Sold" listing...it always gets shared first, so that it falls to the bottom. Once a listing is sold, never share it again or it will not stay at the bottom. So just share the SOLD divider listing, then share your for sale items, making sure to skip all the items u sold. I hope this helps! It can be confusing thru text! @rushleigh_cle Oh gosh girl you don't have any! They say once you hit 30, it's downhill from there, and I believe it! I'll be 34 soon 😩 I bought some patches online called Frownies and they help a lot. And it's all natural. It's kinda like pieces of paper that u wet and stick on your forehead to wear while you sleep. I'm desperate lol!

I'm currently pregnant with twins (our firsts) and I keep thinking about how my body ten years ago probably would have taken to it much better than my body now lol. And I tried Frownies but they irritated my skin 😕

@merileeann Hi Merilee! Thanks for stopping by! 😘 Isn't being a mom of 3 fun?! I mean, by the time your third is here, you let them run out in the snow barefoot and say "ah, you'll be alright" lol! I actually also have 2 step kids. So with 5 - they drive me crazy 😜 I do Posh while they are at school. I'm fortunate right now to be able to stay home. My husband owns a construction company and I'm a full time college student as well. I juggle Posh with school more than with the kids 😘😘

@merileeann How old are your babies? My daughter turns 16 in October, my middle just turned 13 Sunday, and my baby is 10! So they really just hang out either outside or in their rooms on their games. But baseball is about to kick off, so I'll be slowing down on Posh. ❤

@lolli_posh Ha ha. That's definitely true about 3. Ours are really so similar. I have 2 girls, 15 and 13, and a son who is 10! And yes, they don't need a lot of constant attention, but they sure are busy with sports and homework and it feels like a whirlwind some days. Kudos for going back to school. This hobby/job is the first thing I've tried since staying home with my kids 15 years ago, and I really adore having something of my own to work on besides, laundry, meals and carpool driving. :)

Hi Lindsey! Hope you're doing well! I really love the lighting in your covershots- did you do something different? I've just been using natural sunlight but I've been thinking of using a light kit or something so my photos are consistently brighter (like yours!). Or maybe I just need a bigger window! :)

@littlewing67 Hey Sheila! 💕 awe you're so sweet! I use natural light - VERY little of it bc I don't have much coming in the house. I brighten in Lightroom & apply the Russ filter in Afterlight (adjusting all of that as needed). I haven't really loved my photos, so I've consistently worked on ways to make them look better (like yours!) The light mainly comes from Lightroom tho! You'd be surprised if you saw some of my 'before edits' 😊 continued....

@merileeann Oh no, I'm sorry - I missed your last comment somehow! It sounds like we have a lot in common! I'm also the taxi driver (daughter turns 16 in October), full time baseball mom - spring summer AND fall. I made a mistake by taking summer classes last year. I have taken about a 10 year break from college, so I just started back last summer and learned quickly it's best to do my course load when the kids are in school lol!

@lolli_posh I've had the same experiences too! ☺ A few months ago while Dave was at a school for a week, I did multiple a few times a day until he came back and I couldn't believe how the share groups helped me in positive ways. Your share group looks very organized and I'm excited about the lovely closets that have signed up so far. I think when pretty closets join it makes the sharing more enjoyable. 😊😇😊

If it didn't offer much of a discount, my bundle discount would probably end up making it cheaper all together anyway. 👍🏻

I took a screenshot of mine during that hour and compared to hers and only 3 out of the 7 were the same. I think it has to do with what you put in "My size" and omg I'm so flattered!! I'd love to host with PFFs! I don't think I'll ever host again! I requested months ago! 😫

Unfortunately I haven't noticed a big uptick in sales post 100K. I'm telling you... the magic formula for how to sell has escaped me. I so wish that Posh didn't have offers-- I dislike having to price things higher than what I would really take because I feel like it scares people away.

I was on twice on the 27th, so I'm not complaining, but it's odd that I'm always with you and posh pineapple, but I'm not there this time. 😞 I have actually been keeping track of the top 5 lol!! @lindscort Eww that stinks for you both! I would send it & include a gift! Maybe write a note apologizing. The price drops are so confusing! What I do if I've dropped it so much that I don't want to go any lower is put in the title {offer 85} but leave the price at $115. It won't notify likers but they'll see what you'd take for it. Or if you just want to make her happy, you could cancel & sell it for 60. I know you don't want to sell it that low, but that's an option 😕

@lolli_posh thank you for taking a look and for your advice I really appreciate it, I listed this before I learned my lesson about pricing my items to low and was getting a ton of low ball offers so I raised the price but now doing price drops on it gets tricky ugh I feel badly and don't want her to be upset about it but at the same time I looked at her closet and think this may just be for her to re-sell. You don't think just straight out cancelling the order is an option? @lindscort you're more than welcome! And yes, I did the same thing when I first started out. I priced things so low, and I was attracting young girls who wanted it all for $5. I've had to work on re-vamping my entire closet just to weed out low ballers. That's why I also sell mostly nwt only now (mostly). I wouldn't cancel it. She was pretty clear that she doesn't want you to cancel. Maybe add a cute shirt or necklace or something on top of what you'd usually send? Cont....

@lindscort She may leave a bad rating, but luckily nobody can see that but you, and you can bring ratings back up to 5 stars after a while. I wouldn't worry too much! Just send it and apologize. That's all you can really do. She doesn't understand that you weren't trying to trick anyone. You wanted to lower it to 85, and you wanted your likers to know, and the only way to do that was lower it to 60 and bring it right back up. She got a great deal so she shouldn't really be complaining lolol!

Hi! Sending a PSA: since the latest PM app update, storage usage in phones has skyrocketed from posting/sharing listings (b/c of the new high-rez & 8-pic option). Mine went from a few hundred mb's to 2gigs! 1 of my PFFs says hers is 4g's! Check the storage PM is taking up on your phone & spread the word to email PM! 💜

I had such a great week up until the launch of the dressing room. People were upset with the edit button going away, and I think some left Poshmark. They put the edit button back, but sales are still really slow. I think it's all across the platform. Keep sharing! It will pick back up 😊

@3ooud Hi love! Thank you for the sweet compliment! ♥️ I use a white fluffy rug & take the photos beside my french doors. The mornings is when I get the best light that doesn't turn out too yellow. But I edit first in the Lightroom app and adjust the temp to take out yellow tones and adjust brightness. Then I add a filter in the Afterlight app. It takes a little practice, but you'll find your niche!

@3ooud You're welcome! Yes, editing can be time consuming, but it seems to pay off. There's tricks to do it faster, too, but it's a lot to explain. The shoes that seem to have a solid white background are taken on a white poster board from wal-mart! I'm not crazy about those pictures, so I switched back to my rug 🙈

I love finding people on here from Alabama. It makes feel like a piece of home is still with me. Gadsden State has an amazing sports program that’s very underestimated in my opinion. But that’s so awesome that she goes there! I seriously live 2 hours from Paducah. I’ve only been once, but it was beautiful!

I actually do the target sharing that it talks about, but the entire concept that our shares are ignored is bothersome. This algorithm needs to stop changing because it’s affected so many sellers 🙁

It seems like the algorithm has started to level out because my sales have picked back up, so just hang in there! Your closet is great! Do you ENL when you share your listings?

@reuseagain Oh, and they can still share, but share jail happens when they’ve shared too much within a certain amount of time. I think that’s because of the bots. PM may detect all of the sharing and assume it’s a bot, so they’ll put you on a short break. I think it’s just a few hours.

@reuseagain Girl, that’s the secret to Posh!!! You know how you edit a listing? The fastest way to share your closet, and the way it shows up best in the searches is to click that edit button three times fast instead of clicking “share.” You’ll click edit, then click next, then click list, bam! Shared your listing, plus it appears at the top of the searches. That’s the only way I share my closet unless I’m on my iPad. Try that and see if you see an increase in sales and activity 🙈😊

@reuseagain ahh you’re so sweet 🙈 I appreciate that! I tried the 30MM a while back. It didn’t seem to benefit me, but I’ve read where it’s benefited others. Try ENL , and the best part is that when you ENL a listing during a party, like the one going on right now, it automatically shares to the party! They removed the Edit button with one of their updates a few months ago, and soooo many people got so angry, so they put it back. It’s THAT important to most users. Good luck, hang in there! 😘

@tlynhajer absolutely! My #1 advice I give to everyone is to take photos is natural light, next to a small window works great. Don’t use the filters that come with this app. It takes practice, but you’ll get there! I hope you are enjoying Posh so far 😊

@lolli_posh hi! Your photos are all so beautifully uniform. Do you use a ring light and/or a preset filter? If so, I'd love to know what you're using. @flippingrefined hi! Congrats on baby #5! How exciting 💓 thank you for the sweet words. I don’t use any lights, just natural light from the window or my garage. I do use Lightroom & then VSCO to brighten my photos. I’ve been here for a while, and it took a very long time to find my flow, so here’s to hoping you can achieve what you’re looking for soon! ❤️
