missimiss @mimismenagerie @vashby @candykissa143 @brokegirlshop wondering your thoughts on selling to buyers who have no feedback -- I've read about some horror stories with sellers where buyers ruin the clothing once it's received, etc -- where poshmark protected the buyer even though the seller had photos of the item before selling etc. What protection do I have as a seller? Anyone have any bad experiences / advice? Thanks! 😊💕✨

vtgcovergirl Can you really sell the little message in a bottle necklace for that price? I know how poshers are, and with your built in discount, and posh taking 20%, it doesn’t seem like you’re creativity and unique piece is priced where it could be. None of my business I know. Trying to help. People will lowball you on here, and I have seen NOTHING like it on here before. You could charge triple that and make some money from your creation. Just a thought.

vtgcovergirl Be patient with Poshmark. It takes time to become established on here. Do your sharing regularly. Both your own and especially other people. Attend as many parties as you can. It will help. I foresee your little message in a bottle becoming a “Host Pick” one day! 🌷

vtgcovergirl When I began Poshmark I had a built in discount too. People always EXPECTED an additional discount on top of that as well. Being very green I gave it to them! You have no idea the amount of things I literally gave away at a loss when I started out, just because I didn’t have the following it took to sell my things, or the patience/knowledge/understanding how this site works. I’m a posh mentor and ambassador now. It’s very different. 😎

I’ve been on poshmark for over 3 years and honestly I tried the sharing and parties etc and just saw not much of a difference in sales. With 4 kids (3 homeschooled) I just don’t have too much time to devote to this BUT I can say I’ve had some great experiences here.

missimiss @riglem65 I’ve found great deals for my kids and myself and done some trading with some awesome people. I don’t spend much on my clothes (buy most of them in new shape at Goodwill honestly!) so with my sales I usually break even or make a bit of money. And with trades I think I do pretty well 😊

missimiss @riglem65 I can understand people not wanting this to be like a tag sale site, that’s totally understandable that’s why I stick to the rules as far as what I sell. And for the message in a bottle necklaces I sold those for many years on Etsy. I’m not on there any more so I decided to sell them here. I have a surplus of supplies and I enjoy it so hence the price. I’ve actually only sold one in 3 years! But I will consider raising the price - can’t hurt lol 😊❤️
