new vintage SS Opal pendant charm (flashes pinky-red) Gorgeous cluster or globe of 6 round Opals / grapes! 😀🍇🌎 Something about the spherical - globular shape looks lush and full! Even the Opals are like mini globes - grapes! Mostly milky blue-white and pink-blue with SPARKS of green, pinky-red! The red arrow shows the direction of the sunlight that sparked pinky-red in the opals. All pictures with that pinky-red had the sunlight hit the pendant from that direction. The green sparks seem to come from other directions. 4 faux diamonds and beautiful goldtone leaves, vines, prongs, diamond cut flourishes, and deep setting-mount add to the sparkle and globe shape. Overall: C. 15 mm round, 10 mm high, not including bail Bail: 3x5 mm Opals: c. 4 mm round New vintage c. 1970s. Opal. Sterling silver with gold plating. Hallmarks on the bail: “SS” and “??” (L within an L or Lattice shape?). Probably from same company as Karatclad opals. Group photos show other pieces in the collection.
