I had two of my own but had to find an indefinite sitter as my current landlord is apparently anti-cute things and won't allow cats at my current place. And I hear ya about the cloudy weather sister! I typically don't trust humans that don't like cats. As for Oregon, I'm chomping at the bit to get up there! If you ever make a trip over to the Pacific Northwest, "look me up" (I know that really doesn't apply to modern day circumstances, but I've always wanted to say it). So happy that my pale, ginger wolf pack just grew by one!

missrochelles Sorry you had an injury. I have had lots of injuries over my short 30 something years and now have Degenerative Disc Disease among other issues :( Posh has kept me busy too :) I've met a lot of friends on here. Sales have really taken a dump but I'm hoping the rule followers will win out!! Lol! Congrats on hosting! I'm in S Arizona & am looking to maybe find enough people to get Posh to visit :) I miss Cali though. I moved from Sacramento area last year. missrochelles I've had to have trigger point injections to keep the perm nerve damage pain down. It's helped a lot. I only let them use non steroid stuff & lidocaine. (Like at the dentist) It only lasts about a month but if you have that horrible burning that won't go away it can be a lifesaver :) I hope you won't though! Best wishes to you!!

missrochelles Yep! I have to still learn to deal with my limitations. I always get talked into doing more than what my body allows :( Ill get it figured out! Lol. My new Posh friends are always a big help!! Lately it's been a great group therapy session! 😘😘😘 I 💜it!

missrochelles The injections don't always work. They only work in my neck. Really depends on the person who gives them too :( I tried to have them in my lower back & I was sick for a month! Well I hope you find the relief you need! You are welcome to come & chat & me & my friends pages anytime! We all have our issues & pain :( It's nice to know no one is alone in their pain! 💁💁 We all have tried I think every remedy in the world & I was a Pharmacy tech for years. So feel free to ask before you try something. Poor Tina has tremors & I really feel for her. We went thru her Meds recently & she found that some of her medications have caused her probs :( I'm so happy I met you today!!!

I'm sorry to hear a out your nerve pains, too - I know this isn't all neurologists but I went to one for 9 months that misdiagnosed me with CRPS when my ulnar nerve was actually loose and freely moving around my funny bone. So if I may, get a second opinion if you aren't comfortable with a diagnosis 😊 Sorry for the ramblings, I've just had three years of going to multiple doctors and having numerous tests so I feel for ya ☺

I finally went to an Ortho and found out that it was, indeed, my ulnar nerve flapping around across my funny bone!! My new words of wisdom: don't ever get hurt at work! alibfcat Wow that's bold to be adamant about CPRS diagnosis. I'm board certified in family practice, an occupational med doc for the Army. I see injuries all the time. CPRS not something I would diagnose without getting specialists involved and completely ruling out other causes. So glad you got the Ortho opinion. Are you seeing some response to the surgery yet? Sorry to be so nosey but I love this stuff!

allysonmia Oh no, that's quite alright (: I've been dealing with this injury since August 2010, so I could talk about it for days! With it being a work injury and being brought into the Worker's Comp system - I experienced a lot of doctors who thought nothing was wrong with me and I believe the Neurologist who diagnosed me with CRPS was nothing different. But yes, I never succumbed to her diagnosis but again, since its Worker's Comp, it took a long time to be able to see another doctor. No response to the surgery yet. My surgeon "claims" that in the twelve years he has been operating, he has never had a single patient have complications after a ulnar decompression and transposition! The doctor I went to for my EMGs was the most understanding and he said that over the past twenty years, he has come to find that the success rate of the surgery is around 33% - one third found it helped, one third found it made things worse, one third found it didn't do anything. Regrettably, I am in the second category. It's been a year and seven months since my surgery but I'm trying to stay hopeful (: Sorry for the novel; I get carried too carried away *smile*

nancymk Nice to meet you here on Posh😀 I have 2 RAGDOLL fur babies and they are wonderful. I hope to give you some encouragement on your injury. I had neurosurgery on my back 15 years ago after a severe car accident. I waited 10 months to get the surgery and I can tell you nerve pain is the worst. Mine was the sciatic nerve. I found my own doctor to do the surgery after seeing 4 or 5 others with different diagnosis & treatment plans. I hope that you can find the right doctor to fix your problem. You are gorgeous - and your closet and kitties too😃😉

The move went somewhat smoothly - the movers were actually 7 days late though so it was rather exhausting sleeping on air mattresses and rotating the same 4 outfits 😁 Yesterday, I was unpacking the picture/mirror boxes and I came across my family's one-of-a-kind, original, signed serigraph by the late Sister Mary Corita and for some reason the movers took it out of the cardboard protection we had it in and packed it right up against this old mirror that I have - it wound up ripping down the middle 😢 We are SO bummed - I was very much looking forward to having that in my family for a long time! I wrote a very stern message to the company yesterday and I haven't heard back yet. They damaged a few other things that can be replaced (by them of course 😌) but that serigraph still has me in shock! Anywho, enough about me 😊 How have you been?? Enjoying your summer, I hope!!

The coral chevron pillow, I made out of leftover fabric from drapes I sewed! The bedding is so expensive but really, so worth it...an investment piece, if you will ☺

The main tips to remember is definitely abiding my Posh rules (no PayPal, only selling authentic, etc.) - this will make you eligible for a Host Pick, which certainly increases your exposure! Having clear covershots and descriptive listings are key, along with speedy responses 😊 Follow Posh on Instagram to keep in the know and just have fun networking within this fun community! allysonmia @getchicdone hi there! if you have any specific questions, please feel free to shoot ‘em over and i’ll answer as soon as i can (: i know it can be overwhelming. i work full-time (okay, way over FT) and have loads to list but the best way to go about listing is to take it in small chunks. what that looks like exactly is up to you! you can make it a goal to list one thing per night, one thing every other day, five items over the weekend; whatever works for your schedule!
