For someone just getting into riding these would be great. Used, top-quality, vintage German riding breeches by Pikeur. Soft leather knee patches. Bought in the '80s; slight wear on rear (see 4th photo ). They are lovely, but don't fit anymore. The size says 42 German/ 14 US but these have shrunk a bit and now fit like a US 28 stretch jean IMO. See photos for measurements (waist is about 14 lying flat; there's a little old skool stretch, too, but not enough to make it work for me anymore)

Based on the waist measurements and how vintage pants usually fit, I’m pretty confident they’ll be a good size for me, I’m able to make some alterations if necessary. But just for the sake of making sure, could you confirm the rise length? High rise pants are always more comfortable for me, especially in activewear

meezstephanie @emjy099 Hi! the rise is about 10.5-11 inches. The crotch is seamless so it’s tough to be exact but they come to the navel. Hope that helps.
