this is a charming, one-of-a-kind vintage hand knit cardigan sweater with a stitched label that reads “made with love by grandma” – it is so versatile and cute! the sweater features a classic cable knit pattern with an intricate fisherman rib stitch in a light yellow/cream color, and the sweater has been knit by hand from a chunky, medium-weight and soft yarn. the sweater features a v neckline, a six front-button closure, bracelet-length sleeves, a cropped bottom hemline, and two front pockets. the sweater has a boxy and puffy fit, and the fabric is soft (not scratchy) and unlined. such a cute and classic piece that looks great worn on its own, or open over a camisole! untagged but I would say this sweater best fits modern day adult womens size small. in great vintage condition with some imperfections in the hand knitting, some loose knits, and light pilling. measurements (lying flat): bust (pit to pit): 19” across sleeve inseam: 13” – measured from pit to cuff, as this unique pattern has no shoulder seams pit to bottom hem: 10-11” centre back length (without collar): 18”
