vintage music vinyl record art to wear unique handmade reworked tote bag purse

this is a super unique, one of a kind handmade vinyl record handbag– I have never seen anything quite like it (nor can I find anything even remotely similar online) and would be so curious to know its origins! the slouchy bag is made of a lightweight and stretchy white ribbed cotton blend fabric, which was presumably originally a “wifebeater” tank top, and features rainbow fabric piping details around the two handles. there is a genuine O’Jays vinyl record glued to the front of the bag, who are an American R&B group from Ohio that was formed in the summer of 1958. this unique bag serves more as a statement accessory than a functional purse, I would say. the shape of the bag is quite narrow so it cannot hold too much and the fabric is thin and unlined. this accessory is certainly a conversation starter and would also make a wonderful gift for a music lover! in great handmade vintage condition. measurements: bag length (including handles): 23” bag width: 11.5” vinyl record length: 11.5”
