vintage reworked floral silk scarf tie loose comfy cotton sleeveless midi dress

this is a lovely light blue dress that has been reworked with a 100% silk colorful floral scarf that has been stitched by hand around the neckline. I don’t know the story behind this reworked garment as it was not done by me, but this special upcycled detail makes this dress truly one-of-a-kind! the sleeveless dress has an oversized square and boxy waist-free fit, and the loose tailoring allows it to comfortably fit a variety of sizes and body shapes. it has low armholes and is midi length, hitting just above the knee. the fabric is untagged but it feels like a 100% pure cotton, making the dress relaxed and easy for summer or vacation wear. the dress has a pullover closure and is unlined. such a cute and easy piece that is sophisticated, fun and super unique! the size is untagged but the garment is "one size fits most" (could likely fit womens size small to XL) - however, please check measurements. in excellent vintage condition besides a few tiny pin holes. measurements (lying flat): shoulder to shoulder: 19.5” bust (pit to pit): 26” across (52” when doubled) waist: garment is waist-free pit to bottom hem: 22.5” centre back length (does not include scarf): 35” bottom opening: 25”
