Rare! this is an incredible fairycore grunge knit dress by vintage French designer Zone Bleue from the early 2000s – it is so unique, and would be perfect to wear casually, for a night out dancing, or to a festival like burning man. the long sleeved dress features a black stretchy warm knitted base (unlined and it has a bit of an itch, so be aware if you have sensitive skin) and sheer mesh leopard print accents throughout – it’s such a cool mix of materials! the dress has a loose cowl neckline (with an exposed seam at the back neckline, giving it a grunge look), a sweetheart neckline, bracelet-length sleeves, and an ultra short asymmetrical fairy hemline with a ruffly lettuce trim. the dress is fitted and stretchy so it hugs the curves, and I love the black knitted trimming around the mesh sleeves and bottom hemline – very whimsigoth! size is untagged but I would say this best fits adult womens size extra small or small (model usually wears size small to medium). in great vintage condition with light/medium pilling throughout (gives the dress a fuzzy sort of texture) and some loose threads around seams. measurements (lying flat): shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 14.5” pit to pit (bust): 14.5” across (29” when doubled) sleeve length: 22” waist: 11” across (22” when doubled) – but has plenty of stretch, and fits model who has 26-27” waist hips: 13” centre back length (without collar): 31”
