This is absolutely one of my favorite charms. I put it on my Leukemia bracelet in honor of my mother who passed away from this disease. At the time she had it, she was the longest living person in the world with CML. Diagnosed in 1971(42 yo), she passed away in 2008 (80 yo). The amazing Dr. Brian Druker became her physician from OHSU, who created the drug that kept her alive for another 10 years. She was in the trials for this drug, now called Gleevec. In 1998, she had 95% cancer cells in her body at the beginning of December. After being in the trials for one month, she had only 5% cancer cells. That’s how well this drug worked. Anyway, now that I’ve tooted my horn, I truly want to thank you because these angel wings really mean a lot to me and make me think of mom 💕💐💕
