I should not have assumed the gel was new/unopened, but I assumed it was because the brush is new in the photos. Definitely would not have purchased had I known it was a partially full, open and used container. I wont fault the seller. I should have clarified before I purchased. However, other buyers might forget to ask questions like I did, so I would suggest taking photos showing the opened, partly used item along with your other pics in the future.
