I purchased this for a Glamorous yet Dangerous themed party (I'm going as Kill Bill Uma Thurman in a ball gown). I love it! Definitely not a size 8 (unless it's UK 8 which is equivalent to size 4 US). I was planning on giving the dress to a seamstress to take in, but glad I don't have to do that now. It fits perfectly (I'm a size US4).
