As for the piece, although the marketing photos almost always feature this with the leggings, the blazer seems sufficiently impactful on its own - if nothing else, BCBG knows how to structure a blazer...so it has a well-tailored fit (particularly since it was designed circa 2018, when things were certainly more body-sculpting in the industry at large). The intelligent use of a combination of high-bling and matte sequins really makes the camo pattern visible and the slightly longer length of 28" really gives you that hefty dose of military-fab. And these are real-deal sequins that fill out virtually all the space on the jacket... as opposed to the much sparser "mini-sequins on tulle" methodology that, unfortunately, has become so rampant today in the industry due to its economics. That's why when I see a designer in 2023 using a more traditional sequin assembly, I really gotta hand it to them, particularly if they don't charge an arm and a leg...
