I was unable to put these boots on due to the "tongue" is attached, sewn, to the sides of the boot. Difficult to explain. I have never seen this in a pair of ariat boots. Except for that, these boots are in excellent shape! I bought them to replace a pair I already had that are completely worn out. On my pair the tongue is loose and you can unlace the boots to get plenty of room to put your foot in.
