Thank you for the quick delivery. I think this jacket had been washed last with regular laundry detergent, as the fabric had lost all water repellency when I tested it. The water immediately soaked into the fabric. In the future, you’ll want to wash your other nice waterproof/repellent clothing with Nik Wax Tech Wash instead of regular laundry detergent. I washed it with Nik Wax and the repellency was restored! Unfortunately though - and this is not a side effect of Nik Wax - the taping of the seams wore out during drying. I still gave 5 stars because the tape was entact when I received it. It’s just that the glue is old and could not hold up. So you got rid of it at the right time! At the price, it’s still a usable jacket. I hope the info about Nik Wax will be helpul in the future! Happy thanksgiving! Cheers.
