Dear Caroline, Wow! What a gorgeous pair of vintage Laurel Burch lilac purple bamboo enamel earrings! I love them! I also love Laurel Burch’s fabulous artistically designed works whether it’s her purses, bags, or jewelry! What a gifted and talented artist she was! She left us with a magnificent artistic legacy! I had never heard of her until about two or three years ago, when I saw some of her works on Poshmark. I am so glad that I saw these items and became familiar with her works! I will wear these exquisite earrings very often, since they will be a beautiful accessory with many of my outfits. Also, purple/lilac is one of my favorite colors, and lilacs are some of my favorite flowers! What a glorious scent they have! There was a lilac bush in the yard of the house where I grew up in Evanston, Illinois. Thank you for listing these beautiful Laurel Bush earrings with the beautiful bamboo design and for including your gracious and thoughtful thank you note with the earrings. How thrilling that you wore these earrings you lived in NYC in the 80’s! I’ll think of you every time that I wear them! I also noticed that you live in Rockville, and it’s wonderful to have purchased these earrings from another Posher who lives in Maryland!
