Dear Jessica, Wow! What gorgeous brown suede booties with gold zippers! I love them! The suede is so soft, and their color is a beautiful brown. I also love the gold zippers. They add an elegant touch to the booties! They also fit me perfectly. I will wear them often when the weather gets cooler because they are beautiful, and they will go with many of my outfits. Thank you for listing the booties on Poshmark which enabled me to purchase them! I knew that I had to own them as soon as I saw them! Thank you for everything, including wrapping the booties snugly and securely when you mailed them to me and for letting me know that the zippers work!!! I appreciate your care and thoughtfulness. Finally, I want to add that I have Michigan roots and have heard of Livonia. My mother’s family were farmers primarily in the Grand Rapids area, and she was born in 1915 on the farm in Ada on which her mother had been born in the late 1880’s. My mother grew up in Williamston, Michigan, about 15 miles east of Lansing. I also have distant cousins who own farms south of Lansing. My parents met at the University of Michigan in the 1930’s. Years later, in 1976, I graduated from the U. of M.’s library school with my master’s degree in library science. I love Ann Arbor! Living there for two years were two of the best years of my life! Afterwards, I went on to work as a reference/research librarian for 43 years after which I retired at the end of March, 2020. Also, my mother’s brother and his family lived in Lansing, East Lansing, and Okemos over the years. Take care and stay safe. All the best, enjoy this glorious summer season, and have a great week!
