I admit was a little startled when I first pulled it out of the box to find the materials tag cut out, BUT! It has the buttery soft flex of lambskin leather, it has the weight of real leather, and it has the familiar smell of real leather...so I have happily relinquished all anxiety and simply relish my good fortune in that beautiful midnight navy, the complementing accents of bright gold hardware, and that lovely soft drape. Gonna be hard to convince me not to fistfight the rainy weather gods just so I can wear it all this week.
