The tye dye shirt is absolutely beautiful ! As for the book , I just started reading it ! As children we had been told that Thomas Edison lost hearing because as a child he was running away from home and he was trying to catch up with a moving train and that a train conductor had reached out and pulled him into the train by his ear and that was why he was half deaf ! I never believed it because I thought that the ear would have been ripped off leaving the rest of Edison behind sobbing in pain ! I forgot all about it and when I saw your book I remembered ! I know we can look up anything now on the internet but there is something good to be said about actually holding a real book in your hands and reading it ! So far from the book I found out he lost some hearing as a child as he had been inflicted with scarlet fever ! I am going to finish this book by tonight then I will give it to my granddaughter !
