Dear Jessie, Wow! What a gorgeous Breyer Seabiscuit and War Admiral set! I adore it! I have been looking for this Breyer set for a long time, so I am thrilled to finally own it which includes two of the greatest Thoroughbred horses, Seabiscuit and War Admiral! They are added to my expanding collection of Breyer horses, and they will be loved and treasured forever along with my other Breyers. I love the Breyer horses. They all look so realistic and are of such high quality!!! These horses’ personalities really show with the models! Incredible and wonderful!!! I only learned about Breyer within the last year even though I have loved horses all of my life! As a child and young girl, I may have owned some at the time, but then I didn’t notice who made those lovely model horses. I was just interested in the horses themselves! Also, at that time, I owned two three-gated American Saddlebred horses, a chestnut gelding and a chestnut mare. I showed the mare in three-gated equitation at various horse shows. I also have followed Thoroughbred horse racing on and off for many years, so I am very familiar with Seabiscuit and War Admiral. Both were descended from Man o’ War. The famous match race between the two was probably one of the most famous match races ever between any American Thoroughbreds! I read the Seabiscuit book and saw the movie on which the movie was based! Both were wonderful! In fact the author of he book, Laura Hillenbrand, lives just a few miles from me. Have you read the book and seen the movie? So, this Breyer Seabiscuit and War Admiral set are perfect for me! The two horses are so incredibly majestic and so incredibly realistic! In my opinion, they are two of the best Breyer models that I have seen! These two champions are stunning as represented by these awesome models!🐎🐴. What a fantastic experience! I hope that I can attend in person someday. Breyer’s 75th anniversary will be next year, so I am sure that BreyerFest will be quite the event in 2025!
