I didn't realize that this dress was new and wasn't thick wool. It's a thinner fabric with a synthetic lining. All in all, I estimated the sizing well (had purchased similar style Pendleton dress, with thick wool, in a 10 and I was swimming in it). The 8P works great, even though I'm 5'8". It will need pressing, and packaging deposited some debris on the garment, but hopefully won't need laundering prior to wear. Thank you!
