Mckinsey comes across as genuine and that might just be my typical warped and skewed perception but I'm willing to put it out there because there is no harm in it. I remember as a reporter for a local newspaper covering bands like Interpol but also 'battle of the bands.' There really was no difference. Music if done well and with passion is kick ass no matter the oeuvre. It's about the myriad ways in which people express themselves and share a piece of them. I'm bipolar so I am prone to being overly delusional and fairly absolutist. But music especially playing it takes me out of myself and from the grasp of the horrid reality Capitalism unfettered has rendered the earth's human occupancy. I'm a socialist which is to say about an egalitarian society where everyone has the joy they deserve. My jaded self could easily construe the note accompanying the shirt as just a 'by rote' note but there seems to be a sincerity. I'll take it. Glimpses of kindness are not found often and if nothing more the note and the shirt makes me happy. I like the shirt as it is DIY and reminds me of CBGB posters of the past. Funny how pervasive skulls are in our culture but I find their use intriguing. To end, the shirt arrived in a timely fashion and was in excellent condition. I highly recommend Ms. Taylor. Peace.
