I had a ring just like this one! I found it in an old antique shop and fell in love with it being that opal is my favorite stone. I sent a picture to my boyfriend, and told her I loved it and he told me to buy it. Being it was around Christmas time I had other people to shop for besides myself. On Christmas morning my boyfriend gave the exact ring to me! He called my mother in secrecy to buy the ring for him and she'd give her the money for it as my Christmas present. It meant so much to me, and I ended up losing It at the gym. He bought this one for me to replace it and I love it. Its beautiful. Although it isn't the exact ring I had, it's still a reminder of it, and I hope someone else finds it and can enjoy it like I did. Thank you so much! It already means the world to me.
