We called these step-ladder shoes back in the day. As a teenager in the 70s I didn't get to fully express myself because I was painfully shy and mostly hid and didn't want to be noticed. I've come a long way since then and am not the person now back then From the clicking of the wooden heels to the loud plaid kaleidoscope of color, when I wear them out in public they really make an impression. I can't go back to the 70s but I can bring it back wearing my bell bottoms and these shoes 😊
