Love Notes
Packaging was disappointing as I’ve become accustomed to fancy hand crafted packaging with lil notes, or stickers, or a gift, or even just.. nice tissue paper.. instead I got the item. As described, but no bonus incentive for me to order again from the buyer. It’s the little extras that count when your selling on a one on one personal level. If you can make someone’s day by spending 30 seconds extra writing a personal note, or spend .30 cents extra on some pretty ribbon, then why not? It definitely ups your game 1000% in the small time personal business of selling each other things to and from someone just like ourselves… or so we believe.. right?? I had someone recently send me an item for my daughter. Jeans I think. Nothing extraordinary about the purchase, they were exactly as described. But they came in bright tissue paper with a bow around it, a hand written card thanking me that included me name, AND a few motivational stickers for.. wherever stickers are fun! AND, a BOOK! For my daughter! Just a simple lil kids book for her age group, probably was a free item she got somewhere, or at most, a .50 cent investment. But guess what? I have been bragging to anyone who will listen about her customer service, I can not say enough, I’ve had anyone who’s ever heard of Poshmark checking her out, I’ve boasted about her to my followers on Instagram, I have a 1000+. And do you thing I’ll purchase from her again? Damn straight! It’s the lil things that are soooo meaningless, yet they hold soooo much potential value… just think about this story from now on…. I know I am.
