Dear Nora, Wow! What a gorgeous equestrian-themed vintage men’s silk necktie with the beautiful horse and rider! I love it! I will wear it frequently because it will be a stunning accessory with many of my outfits! I have loved horses all of my life. As a young girl, I owned two three-gated American Saddlebred horses, a chestnut gelding and a chestnut mare. The horse and rider on the tie remind me of riding my horses. The horse looks like an American Saddlebred. That’s why I was drawn to the tie and decided to purchase it! The colors and the design on the tie are beautiful, too! Thank you for listing the necktie on Poshmark and for also enclosing the beautiful Bible verses along with your gracious and thoughtful note. I am a devout Episcopalian, and I am very active in my church. So, I was thrilled when I saw the enclosed Bible verses!!! I also want to add that I am originally from Illinois. I was born in Chicago and grew up in Evanston, Illinois which is the first northern suburb on Lake Michigan from Chicago. I also graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. I was a reference/research librarian for 43 years before I retired in March, 2020. I moved from Chicago to Silver Spring, Maryland in August, 1992 to accept a job transfer as a librarian working in Washington, DC. I love the DC area and the East Coast so much that I decided to stay in this area after I retired.
