Thank you Rebecca they arrived today, absolutely perfect like brand new. I love that they have a Great Toe separation and of course the perfect heel height. These shoes remind me of my German-Czech Mother, she had the most beautiful hands and feet, always giving herself manicures and pedicures. I have never had a professional manicure or pedicure.... learning from her. Last night I decided to release 2 pairs of shoes, 1 pair from Manolo Blahnik: a red open toed kitten heel sandal. I have owned them for 28 years with repair now and then at an Excellent Shoemaker. My last pair of white designer sandals were by Jill Sander and the cobbler said it is time to cease repairing them. At some point it is time to lovingly bless and release them. I usually decide to donate them to a women’s shelter or give them directly to a lady without a physical home. Both pairs of shoes were “greatfully “ received today. A wonderful present at the end of this beautiful and interesting day!
