My waist size in pants is a 32 in US sizes and the pants I purchased by H&M are labeled 32 waist, but isn't accurate. They were so tight that I couldn't fully zip, hook and button all the way. Just to make sure, I tried on a few pairs of my slim fit pants I own with a waist size of 32(of different brands), one of which I just ordered and received a few days prior, and they all fit me very well. Maybe H&M pants fit much tighter then other brands who make slim fit dress pants, but this is to no fault of the seller since the pants are labeled 32R on the tag stitched to the dress pants.
