Dear Sarah, Wow! What a gorgeous pony/small horse bridle, split reins, bit set, black nylon set! I love it! My apartment is very horse/equestrian themed with Breyer horses and horse art work all around. I decided that a lovely bridle would fit the decor, so that’s how I’ll use this bridle. It fits right in with my apartment theme, and this bridle is so classic and lovely. I wish that I owned a horse that could use it! I have loved horses all of my life. As a young girl, I owned two three-gated American Saddlebred horses, a chestnut gelding and a chestnut mare. I showed the mare in three-gated equitation at various horse shows. So, this bridle is perfect for me as a decoration piece. It brings back many wonderful memories of my riding days decades ago! The bridles that I used on my horses were leather and had both a curb and a snaffle bit with a rein for each bit. That was the kind of bridle that was used for three-gated American Saddlebred horses, at least during the time I was riding them in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Thank you so much for listing this bridle on Poshmark! I am thrilled to own it! One doesn’t see many bridles on Poshmark! I also love the horse stickers on the outside of the mailer. The chestnut looks like both of my horses, though my gelding had a white blaze on his face, like the horse on the sticker, and the mare had a white star on her face. Both horses were gorgeous!
