I love this painting, because I grew up watching the show. It's a fave. I then passed my love for the show on to my children. Our youngest daughter is 17. She loves Buffy, the show has so many metaphors for real life and perfectly displayed the emotional torture that is high school. My mom and I used to watch it when I was in middle school and high school, and the season five finale where Buffy jumped was one of those scenes where we always cried together. My Mom and I, and now my daughter and I too...Lol. The series finale aired just a few months after my youngest daughter was born, and she was with me when I watched it. No matter how many times we watched it, it just hit deep. We still watch Buffy, all the time. The best part about getting this painting, was getting the note that came along with it. I read it to my Mom and daughter. What a stellar way to send off your art. I loved it. The story about you and your sister & cousin was a testament to why it's important to have good women in your life, that have your back and love you unconditionally. Shitty insecure boyfriends will come and go, but the friendships that you all have will feed your soul.Cheers to empowered women ❤️🌼🌻
