I already have one of these pencils sharpeners that sat on my parents desk as far back as 1965 or 66. It's the best sharpener I've ever used and it still works as it did then. I bought this one for my daughter for her home office. She had just commented that she loved my sharpener so I know She'll be pleased. It does a super job on colored pencils and most newer sharpeners just break the softer lead. Couldn't be happier.
