1920s Cloche Hat SAKS 5th AVENUE

Incredible 100 year old cloche hat Black Wool Felt - unbelievable thick and velvety stamped LUXURIA with White Leather Inner brim & piping Circa mid 1920s Tagged SAKS Fifth Avenue The logo is one of their earliest as shown in the screenshot. SAKS opened their first store in NYC in 1924 and this particular logo was only used for a short time. Later versions of this logo were also in similar script - but it was thicker and the slant of changed. Anyway, it’s in beautiful condition and has been carefully stored and well cared for. The only issue is on the piping, where you can see something was seen. Probably a flower or feather. I left it alone. You could either remove the thread and leave the hat as is, or stitch on a new flower and know where it should be placed. FYI - this is a smaller size hat
