Lovely 1950s wedding dress with bateau neckline pointed cuffs and floor length skirt. Long sleeve dress features fitted bodice with pleated floor length skirt. Long sleeves with darts at elbows and pointed cuffs, fastens with hidden snaps at wrists. Outermost layer of dress is semi sheer organza type fabric throughout, under dress is mid weight taffeta which provides body/stiffness to pleats. Tulle underskirt also adds fullness/support. Floral, rose look lace appliques at front and back of skirt accented by three tailored bows at front. Fastens at centre back with metal zipper and hooks and eyes at neckline and waist. Ideal fit - small In excellent vintage condition, with some soiling/stains at hemline. The appeal of this dress will be further enhanced by a professional cleaning and pressing and is priced taking the cost of cleaning and it's condition into consideration.
