1950s Gibsons England W792 Greek Key Gold Enameled Teapot

Mid-century modern teapot dating to the 1950s according to both the backstamp and the gold decoration. All real gold enamel, applied by hand, except for the Greek key design which is a transfer print or decal. • The W 792 is the pattern number and the small w is the tally code for the individual paintress who did the gold decoration. • 6.5" tall x 8" wide • Made in England Gibsons operated in Staffordshire, England between 1885-1973. Excellent condition with no wear to the gold or print. No chips, cracks, scratches. Very minimal crazing on the bottom as seen in the photos. M3
