1960s Hand Stitched Japanese Silk

1960s Japanese 100% silk. This here is just a remarkable piece that has come from a life long collector. This piece hasn’t seen the light of day since it was packed up in 1967. As you’ll see from the photos it’s hand rolled, hand stretched and stitched. It’s such a beautiful Japanese / American fusion design with these incredible rose florals. The colours of this beauty are unmatched, amazing for any season. Being one of the largest from this collection at 31” x 31” square, the styling options for this size are absolutely endless. It has been steamed, but due to how soft this particular piece is, it’s prone to fresh wrinkles which also sort of adds to the style of it.
