1980s Floral Sailor Collar Shirt Dress

1980s statement collar shirt dress with lace detail trim. Pantel label, Made in Canada. Marked size 13 Union Label Dark floral print with maroon and purple flowers, and warm tan details. Body is 100% rayon. Collar has a more linen texture. Comes with matching belt The dress is finished with lace trim down the button placket, with detailed engraved gold buttons. The collar has been oxicleaned to treat discolouration, a few small marks remain. See photos for details. The lace down the front is slightly creamier than the collar, as it is polyester or acrylic so didn't take to the cleaning treatement as well. Bold 1980s shoulder pads create a nipped V shape with an elasticated waist. SO many details in this dress, with pintucks down the bodice and puff sleeves. The sleeve ends have a decorative button that matches the dress, sewn to create a pleated effect in the sleeve. This could be opened up to create more room in the sleeve cuff if it's a tad tight.
