1981 The gourmet Cookbook Martie Knockaert Hardcover 2 Volumes in hardcover box

A classic set of cook books, The Gourmet Cookbook by Martie Knockaert has been in print since 1950. It has appeared as "The Gourmet Magazine". Full of clearly printed recipes with lots of beautifully staged colour photos throughout. This set of 2 hardcover volumes would make an excellent gift to yourself or a loved one. This is the Nineth printing from 1981 and it comes with the original slip cover box. Condition: with marks of age and use, some staining to the page (sides) and on a few of the pages that have been used for cooking. Creasing to a few pages in Volume 2. Overall they are in good shape, tight binding no loose or missing pages as far as I could see. Size: (box, both volumes) 10.5 x 7-5/8 x 4-3/4 inches. Heavy!
