stephik422 Ok, since you said you love questions :) Why do sellers leave their sold items up for so long? I've bought off of Posh but haven't listed anything yet. Might get my feet wet soon. Just curious :)

kimmiedee @stephik422 some times I delete them....some times I don't. If it is an item that had a lot if "likes" it's a kind of "link" to my closet....if I delete it, then that "link" that originally caught their eye is gone.......honestly my best guess daahling 😜 lots of times I at least try to move my sold items to the bottom of my closet in order to keep it from cluttering up the listings as well. Like I said, I'm by no means a guru, just giving my measly two cents worth lol

dshelestak How do you delete items from your closet or move them to the bottom? And, can you delete items that you've "liked" so they aren't saved in "My Likes" anymore? I appreciate your "2 cents" or "rants"....I'm new and don't know nearly enough to be successful yet. Thanks for the education :)

kimmiedee @dshelestak if an item has a sold banner, it cannot be deleted or edited...u can delete if you have just marked it sold yourself. I get my sold listings to the bottom by simply sharing everything else in my closet...when u do that it moves each shared item to the top and leaves all of the other stuff alone....moving them to the bottom 😜 helps to declutter your listings😊

However, I've been following other sellers, sharing liked items and posting regularly on FB, Twitter and IG. I add new items at least every two days but interest seems to have slowed. kimmiedee @rikkigillum sometimes this site can be hit or miss for some (myself included) for others it seems to be their items fly out of the closet....honestly, the only real advice I can give is to just try to keep ur items in front of people as much as u can by sharing them and following and sharing others as well...I don't share on Facebook myself, my friends would disown me lol. Just hang in there....I can always tell a difference by the times of the month as well....the first of the month is usually when I see sales more often....hope that helps u and I wish u the best of sales! kimmiedee @filbeauty66 you ain't playin! I've seen negotiation listings on here so those things aren't as much of a problem. You can haggle on one listing without being on a specific listing...I know I often times give my repeat buyers special deals just because they buy so much....not trying to be unfair to others, but it makes sense to me

sweetpeaphilips @kimmiedee these posts are saaweet! I swear I've been mumbling questions about posh to my hubby and he's like "idk why don't u ask..." Not like I was expecting an answer from him but I also didn't want to bother any other poshers with questions that might sound ridiculous. Ya kno. insatiablegypsy thanks for the tips :) I have seen a lot of haggling on others postings, people asking if they will take such & such price and when the buyer agrees, they don't commit to buying! Why haggle and if you are not going to follow through?! Aggravating.

insatiablegypsy I haven't held anything yet, and probably won't. I have items in "my likes" that I REALLY want but can't buy for another week. I won't ask the seller to hold them. If I'm suppose to have it, the item will be there!

kimmiedee @insatiablegypsy I usually don't mind to hold for a short while...unless its a repeat customer, then I hold for longer. Usually people honor their requests...but on occasion u get those who don't...like a bad apple that spoils the bunch unfortunately. Lately, I've been very fortunate. I don't usually ask ppl to hold either because I have a HUGE problem with changing my crazy mind😉😜

susanrosenberg @kimmiedee Great lists of tips! Here's another one: Don't ask someone what their lowest or best price is. Presumably, we've listed items at fair prices. If you're truly interested in something, make an offer. Some items are negotiable, some aren't, but I don't need to negotiate with myself!

kimmiedee @ananoellmeadow thank you so much for your purchase!! Depending on your location, you should get your package within a couple (2-3 days). I will package and ship here in a few minutes for you :) As far as selling goes, there is a button (bottom center) labeled "sell" - that is where you start and the app pretty much leads you through the process of listing. Read through the comments on both of these posts (there is a part one and part two) and find my other listing "do you have a question". There is a TON of info in the comments of all of these listings <3 thanks again!! :)

poshamy81 @jda7 Hi, you likely have already had this answered by now but I figured it was worth having on this thread anyway! People are anti paypal for a couple of reasons firstly and most importantly, it's against posh policy and taking transactions off posh to pay for them via paypal can get you booted off posh 😳👎😭 Secondly, a lot of people, unfortunately, that have done so anyway, to try to save on the % posh makes on bringing us all together via us this free app or on shipping, have been scammed...and once you take a transaction offline posh can no longer protect you. It's very risky as a seller as you could send the goods and the person could say they never received it and get a refund thru paypal and you're stuck...risky for the buyer because you could send your money and they could never send you anything. Also, risky in general because there is no recourse if what you get wasn't as described, etc. In summary, best course of action is to follow posh policy, transact safely, and pay them their dues for setting up this awesome app that we all love so much! 👍🌺

I'm not sure how others are choosing host picks, but I'm looking for really clear covershots....maybe (just a suggestion) try to redo some of your shots....play around with some apps and see what u can come up with...you have nice things, it's just there are sooooo many people on the app it's difficult to find the diamond in the rough I think❤️❤️

purpldeuce @kimmiedee Help!!! I just purchased a bundle from another Posher. Paid in full, and I received a message from her about an hour ago telling me that one of the pairs of pants she bundled for me is no longer available, she sold it. This kind of upset me..How do you not know what you have available in your closet?? She mentioned another pair of pants she had available and posted a picture of them, but the are a different size. What do I do?

kimmiedee @purpldeuce soooo sorry for the delay, I was driving all day. I'm sure you've resolved this by now, but I'm not really sure what I would do. Possibly have her refigure the bundle price without the pants she originally told you she had....it is possible for something to be sold before a bundle is finished, I had that exact thing happen to me over the weekend....but if you aren't interested in the other pair of pants she had...you could have her cancel the whole thing, or just start over. I hope it all works out for you, I know that kind of thing can be frustrating

poshamy81 @kimmiedee @jsheahay Okay, so I was totally refusing to fix my cover shots for awhile, I'm an accountant and this is my busy season and I was like dang it people can see this stuff well enough to determine if they want it or not. But after being on posh almost a month and seeing what a difference it makes to me (mostly I shop rather than sell) when someone makes the effort, I took some of your suggestions, got an editing app and went to town on ALL of my cover shots ✨💥 and before I was even done today with all of them something had randomly sold with NO haggling to someone who wasn't even following me! Guess it matters *sigh* My shots still aren't great from my camera phone, but just a little sprucing up with the app goes a long way!

kimmiedee @deede1104 if it's a listing that has a red sold flag in the corner it cannot be deleted....to move it to the bottom of your closet, just share the other items you have listed and it will move to below your shares..,,you really want people to see your successful transactions on here....I was mainly talking about items that I had combined into a bundle that I just simply changed the price to some crazy amount that no one would buy it...see what I mean? If you're unclear, just scroll down in my closet and you will see bundled and sold items listed there❤️😋 hope that helps

kittycafetoo You should also add that comments about lower prices shouldn't be added. I had one young lady fall in love with a pair of NWT shoes in my closet but they weren't her size so she searched eBay for them and won a bid for them at just $18, which was great for her but then posted that ON my listing! It was rude.

bkimh @kimmiedee question? What is the point in having a "real" closet on here, which is what this started out being, but, now you have all of these closets with high dollar items. Posts from other store sites and the like. The people on here that have the real closets do not have a chance any longer. They offer all sizes, all designer brands, etc. so you know that it comes from box stores. I have been on here for over a year and did really well, until, all these other so called closets jumped in. Posh is not what it started out to be meant for. Just saying.🌟🌟🌟

kimmiedee @bkimh are u referring to wholesalers? I'm guessing I'm kind of half and half....I have used and new, I sometimes buy in bulk, other times find just straight up awesome deals....don't lose faith! Really get down to the nitty gritty with researching your items (not saying u don't per say) and marketing & exposure is truly the key to success. I will say that having a lot of followers doesn't hurt, but there are several factors that make sales and keep people coming back....that's a major factor as well. Don't give up! I started with just stuff my personal closet and I've expanded. This app takes work sharing and keeping things fresh. If you have items that u feel are great buys, maybe try changing some photos to just change the look of your listings...it can make a huge difference❤️❤️

toryshop @kimmiedee Thank You/I had a person just this week write rather insulting comments/e.g. Quote, "good luck getting" under some of my more expensive items/and just as you recommended, I do research, I also check prices of new items, the quality and condition/of my things/I asked her to please stop/she commented, "Chill gal pal?" I'm not sure how I should have handled this treatment/I really thought of getting in touch with Posh and placing a complaint against the closet holder/but I also thought to myself/am I just over secs stove r/t things going on in my life right now/I have 2 sick puppies/ and I've been over the top worried to our Vet on several days this week/so I didn't do anything but kindly ask her to please stop w the comments /and said I would not do that to her. kimmiedee @toryshop I'm sorry ur dealing with that...it's frustrating I know😩I've lost my cool with people like that before...& it was usually because of something going on personally😬 after I made a comment back and read it, I was embarrassed about what I said and wished I hadn't. I can't say I won't say things on here but I really try to limit my retaliations. I take this so seriously that negative comments really bother me, so I understand. Usually if someone acts Bad or negative on my listings, I will not hesitate to block them...& if they are harassing, I will report them. There really isn't any sense for that on here. Rest assured, others will read their negative comments and it will reflect badly on the person who wrote them, not you. I hope it gets resolved...if it doesn't, just learn from it, be the bigger person and try your best to forget it...if the comments are really offensive, I would report it, make sure customer service sees it, them delete and start over if you wish. These people aren't worth your time or effort❤️❤️👍

chicknthesticks @kimmiedee Can you please help me? I'm also a newbie, and I'm having a hard time getting things to actually post. Every time I list an item at the beginning of a party, no matter how many times I share it, it doesn't show up in the party! I know I'm following the rules, like boots in a boots party, jackets in a jacket party,and I try hard to get them listed during the first few minutes. It doesn't seem to matter how or when I do it, I'm a failure! Grrrrr... I'm really getting frustrated.

kimmiedee @rcatheron girlie, I'm sure if you are sharing to the parties, then ur items are listing...it's very difficult to see your listings (especially if you are posting at the beginning if the parties because that's a high volume time). I used to think the same thing, but your listings are more than likely there. Keep in mind that items will only post to a party once though. So sharing to a party more than once will not matter❤️

xsrizr Hi there Stranger, I just wanted to check in with you and thank you for being so kind to me when I joined Posh!! That was one year ago February 3rd....and I am happy to report that because YOU so generously took the time to guide me and PUT UP with me when I mixed up orders etc...... I have sold 178 items!!!! I have also come to the realization that I have serious SHOPPING ISSUES! Well, maybe not so much shopping issues but I obviously NEVER got rid of anything! tiffcake I'm always impressed with the dignity and grace of some sellers when potential "buyer" asks if they would trade their originally $1200 loubs for anything in the stockpile of used makeup and worn out pink track suits in their closet... I have both expensive AND cheap "tastes" but I don't know that I could be as tactful as some of the sellers I've seen gently letting people know there won't be any trades happening lol!
