gretchen42 I also don't wish to buy items from smokers or people with smokers in their house. I don't always remember to ask and it has led to problems. My suggestion is that if you, or someone in your house, is a smoker, that you post that in your closet. I would appreciate it and I'm sure I'm not alone. Thank you!

gretchen42 @roxygirl1 Thank you for the validation. As you know, I had a terrible experience with a purchase just before I posted this. I've remembered to ask sellers since then what the pollution situation is in their homes. Unfortunately, some sellers have continued to lie to me about it.

tpisani I love that you post this. I always ask. I can't stand the smell of smoke. You can't get it out of things either. I mean leather stuff. If you can wash it will come.

gretchen42 @tpisani Thank you! I've had some sellers get really offended when I ask if they smoke but it really is an issue for me and I don't want to buy a purse that reeks. It's happened to me a couple of times on here and once it got super ugly and Posh gave me the refund. She still stalks me on facebook over it and it's been a year!!!!
