@tiff_liu Yes! I picked out some Poshers and went through first their Following Lists. But then the Followers List was even better in many cases. I just did not follow people who blatantly do not follow Posh Rules. They are selling cameras, videos, books, curling irons right at the top of their closets! Pretty bold! 😳

I can think of way more fun things to do than going through so many closets that may or may not follow Posh Rules. I love Posh, but you have to give yourself Me time too, especially while you are very young like you are! 😊

@marlanap yes I'm had a late start too, but I wanted to do everything right, education first then marriage than kids. I'm 34 have a. 3.5 year old boy and a 9 month old baby girl I adore. So I'm all set, I don't know if this is it, maybe one more and that's IT. But my baby still too young if we decide for one more it will be a year or two from now :D

If you have some, you go into your closet and scroll down to see their sold items, if it takes long to scroll all the way down to their first sale, then there goes your go to buddy 😁😁 I hope that works, I just started doing it when we started talking this morning and I already have someone asking about my listing 😊👯👯

@little_bit_hp That sounds like a great idea. I generally follow all of the people who Like items in my closet anyway as a sign of appreciation. Some then follow me back or did before I followed them. As for my own successful 10K strategies last weekend, when I ran out of good people to follow that my Favs Follow, I actually started Following their Followers. I know you have to be more careful, vet closets more then. But Following those that Follow my Favs and Follow lots of others is really what helped put me over the top. Also asking folks to spread the word one last time was very productive too. Just give me the word and I can tag some folks again, especially @tibo2008 Yay, almost there! 👏👏 @tiff_liu @cmfowler85 @desidooo

Many of my friends I am tagging for you also have them in their closets. I mention the biggest one on my page. It is in the closet of @allygirl1964 who is also getting ready to Co-Host an upcoming Posh Theme Party. Be sure to congratulate her in her closet. @shoret411 Good Morning! Welcome Back! Thanks for the Like and the generous Shares! I can see that you remember that sharing is so very important. I can definitely take a look at your closet. As long as everything is following all of the current Posh Rules, I can put you on my Early Party Alerts list and tag you into a few recent ones I received. In short, having a Posh-ready closet and being in the Early Party Alert loop so you can congratulate the Co-Hosts in advance are 2 of the best ways to get yourself noticed. Without sounding conceited, I think I have a nice number of HP's, actually many more since January. So being in the Early Party Alert loop has definitely given me and others an edge. I can also tag you on HP tips found in other SU Poshers' closets. LOL it is very easy for me to go to them myself. Why reinvent the wheel? There are so many places that already exist where we can find answers to just about any Posh question. But feel free to ask me. If I cannot answer your question, I am sure I know an SU who can. Nice meeting you. I am happy you reached out to me for advice. (-:

@shoret411 I forgot to mention that Great Cover Shots are very important for getting HP's too. In general, I think you need a brighter area where you are photographing your pieces. Look at @dollface86 for instance. She has lots of young and fun clothes too. Using those fun apps is a way to go as well. A Beautiful Mess is one lots of Poshers use. I like to keep my pics very minimal so that is why you see very little writing in most of mine. I like bright colors too. So experiment to find your best light and best backgrounds. Multiple pictures on Cover Shots is another suggestion. Some people use them frequently like @saundie who has a lovely closet. I use it here and there. Some use mannequins in almost every pic. Those can be expensive. I only own 2 jewelry holders that I have in a few closet pics. In short, it is up to you to decide what fits your Closet's personality best. (-:

@shoret411 Some model most of their clothes and do an amazing job using the Timer Cam app like @splendeur while others only model here and there. Then again, some Poshers use online clothing images almost exclusively in their closets. So there are plenty of options out there. I think I have covered most of the basics about how to get more HP's. (-:

@jazminestevenss Jazmine, another important thing to remember is that serious Poshers will not Follow you or even Buy from you if you are openly breaking any Posh Rules! Please go to @pamelam @splendeur or @73v3n 's closets to look at their posts about Do's and Don'ts plus other very helpful tips. If you want HP's too, you HAVE to follow ALL of the Posh Rules by deleting items that do not comply. After that, put at the top of your closet, Posh Rules Only so everyone can see it! 😊👍

Poshers are always saying we should reciprocate and support others. Yet we see it every day, people with zillions of Followers, but they do not bother to Follow virtually anybody, only a handful in comparison. I just have to be honest. 😊

They are great!!! 2 more I need to mention this morning are pretty big ones. @4sq has over 600 Likes on hers so that must be the second largest Following Game I have seen on Posh. @marlanap before I head off to work, I wanted to post the tips that really worked for me--if you want this posted in another listin, just let me know😉 I will post there as well.
First, share your Own closet regularly. I've heard 3x's a day or more is best! Be sure that the top 8 - 10 items are changing --especially day to day. Remember, you want to keep your closet looking fresh and inviting--entice us to browse longer in your closet.
Second, Be a share Queen! Over share to those who have shared items in your closet. (Yes, be sure it is posh worthy)
Third, Go beyond just following! Make a point of sharing at least 3 items for every new follower to your closet
Fourth, when playing the follow games--Always Share at least 3 items for each participant- remember, it's easy to miss a single share/follow but much harder to miss 3/6/or even 9 shares and a follow in ones news feed.
Fifth, Always be Positive and help others! Welcome newbies!!! Cheer for the accomplishments of your posh sisters! Welcoming newbies really helped me climb that last little bit to 10K
And last but not least, remember to 'pay it forward' and support others reach their goals!

Yup I follow al your tips, games etc... we met when bellanblue introduced us when you were working on your 10k.. I repost my 10k listing each time I reach a new 1k last night I reached 8k so a new listing was posted I have averaged about 2k a month... I am on my way.. Thank you for everything. <3

@la_boutique 😃Thank you Madame Fair (or Maiden Fair LOL). Yes, the Team Effort got me and all of the Ladies I mentioned our 10K pretty fast once we put all of our hearts into it. I actually gained over 3,000 Followers in May of this year just prior to reaching my goal! 👍 That is the highest in one month ever for me! Now I am happy with 1K or so per month. By the way, Congrats on averaging about 2K per month. Are you a Suggested User? You probably are. Having that honor helps your numbers I am sure. 👏👏👏

@la_boutique I do not have an iPad either. Just my phone. A friend showed me. You get the Emoji app. Also add it as your second keyboard in your phone. Just go to your phone's keyboard settings and pick Emoji as your second keyboard. Then you can go back and forth between your regular keyboard and the Emoji Icons one. Very cool $ convenient. 👍👍👍

I don't use a phone, I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 & so far no emoticon apps work well with it. If I tried to use a phone I would go batty, I need a bigger area to work, organize, create and such. I am not doing anything too much different then you seem to have been I have always down the follow games since day one, driving traffic to your closet is really a big key. I have done all kinds of sharing strategies...I have been working overtime to build the foundation, base so I can let it be in maintenance mode at some point instead of extremely active mode....LoL Thank you again for the addition to your signage : )

I take signs down almost as fast as I put them up...I am always adjusting, re doing, editing, reposting clean copies etc.......lol so you may find you will need to re-like some things you want to keep in your likes...LoL I do it fairly frequently so hopefully it won't drive you crazy.... : )

yeah none of the free apps for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet work for me... I have been totally disappointed with this Tablet... I got it on a back to school special last year & it is a navigational nightmare... I wish I just saved longer for the iPad Air. It was double the price, but likely half the headaches I have now.. LoL

@la_boutique I agree that working from a phone is wearing on me lately. That is why using my laptop too has been a great option. But Sharing my closet and others, esp during Parties via my phone is much faster! I am considering buying an iPad for my birthday which is the day after Christmas. Sure absolutely, I think we have been pretty much on the same page with the tags for the games since @janet0103 has been tagging both of us.... I will look back at some of my earlier ones....As for Sharing I have found that sharing on my laptop whether I am doing share bombs, trains or parties & such works fastest for me with my mouse on the laptop. I can get an entire screen of items versus row by row with a tablet or phone plus you need to open each listing with those mobil devises with a desktop/laptop you just click share without opening the listings, so for share frenzy time it is the MAC laptop with my wireless mouse hands down... for speed... <3 yes it is great to bounce back & forth.....<3

@la_boutique For the Theme parties, I Comment and Share so I guess opening the listing is no big deal. And I only use my fingers for both my phone and laptop. I have not used a mouse yet for Posh. But I will consider it based upon how you describe your process. Some Poshers do zip through Sharing at warp speed. I know that copying and pasting has really saved me lots of time when I leave comments. They have to be generic for the most part when you congratulate HP's. Otherwise, leaving overly-personalized comments would take forever! 😁

Then you click at the top to Follow everyone who Liked the Game too. So your Followers grow every time someone new Likes the Game. Yes, more and more Poshers are posting them on their pages. You can too! Mine has only been up for a few months. @meybaby also had a Following Game. Thanks @mistyheart for tagging me. Best wishes @jpattscloset. It cannot hurt. How long have you been on Posh? I know it took a few months for my Sales to really pick up speed. Be patient. From my experience, there will be slow periods no matter how long you are on Posh. Having special Sales and Bundle deals are a great way to attract more Buyers too. They have worked for me. My biggest Sale so far was right after I hit 10K at the end of this May. I had a Bogo 1/2 Sale. Of course, you have to really advertise it and make sure you really have your closet stocked with items lots of people might want to buy. It is tricky, but doable. My biggest sellers were jewelry and pants/shorts. I really worked at posting Spring and Summer must-have items. As I recall, I sold a total of16 pieces during my 10K Sale in June. I just checked. Yes, 16!

@jpyattscloset Congratulating Hosts before their parties, Tagging potential HP's when they tell you that you can, then getting HP's, also Sharing a lot. Always Sharing from the future Hosts Closets for instance. Also, Poshers are doing more in the line of tagging people to your Sales Listings. To get things going, just tag a few people to your Sale and ask them to help you spread the word. I am seeing a whole lot more of that which is very positive exposure for any Posher trying to Sell. And Teamwork! Poshers will help you. Just ask...All of that does help give you more visibility that encourages people to shop your closet more often. Some may just drop by to see your HP and then decide to buy something else. It does happen that way. Be patient. I hope these suggestions help too. Please let me know when you next sale is and I will be happy to tag others. By the way, did you like my 7/23 Party Announcement? Please do. That will tell me you want me to look at your closet for a possible HP. (-:

@jpyattscloset To get an HP, you have to follow all of the Posh Rules listed on my 4th pic in my Party Announcement. Just delete anything you are trying to sell now that violates Posh Rules. You have time to redo photos too to get better Cover Shots. (-:

@mistyheart Thank you! I think the timing helped with it being right after my 10K and it was still Spring almost Summer. Some Poshers, evidently had some money they were not afraid to spend LOL. I am in another slow period. But that great 10K Sales peak was really satisfying. Sometimes Sellers come out of nowhere ready to Buy! I love that! (-:

There are several suggestions if you read above from current to earlier comments. 👆👆👆 Many people find the Following Games very useful. I have one towards the top of my page so does @mistyheart too and many, many more mentioned above. 👆👆👆 The largest Following Game that I know of is in the closet of @allygirl1964 👍👍👍 Many Poshers also opt to start their own new Following Games in their own closets. @lmfashion I had 7689 followers on June 27th. In 17 days I was able to reach my 10,000 followers goal with the help of these amazing Poshers. I noticed you aren't following very many Poshers. That is key! You need to follow everyone you can and they will follow back. If you go into my list of followers and start following the ones that you aren't, they will follow back. It's amazing how fast they come in if you just start following them. Good luck!!!

Yes, Many Poshers are put out if you are asking for more Followers, yet do not appear to be Following them too. Is your counter correct? I know some Poshers had a counter that is malfunctioning. Weird! So it makes them look like they are Following a very few when it is just the opposite! They have reported that problem to Posh Support too! 😁😁😁

Happy to help if I can!☺️to be honest I was not specifically trying to reach a certain amount of followers, I was once new too and I understand but it seems to be more difficult now than before to find posh rules only closets, what I really believe helps is just good ole sharing👍share, share and share some more! Share as much as you can, remain active in the posh community, follow the rules, and be helpful to others whenever you can, even if you help a fellow posher make a purchase not from your closet, buyers and other sellers both appreciate it👍and of course be a good seller, people will return to your closet and continue to share if you have happy buyers and just in general treat people with respect, treat others as you would like to be treated. Hope any of that helps and always happy to answer an questions if I can☺️💛happy poshing ladies!

@amberrrrrrr That is a great goal. I was hoping to be at 13K by my Party, but I had no time to join more games. Finding the HP's took quite some time. So definitely Follow more before the Theme is announced. After that, unless you are a great multitasker, picking the HP's will be your focus. It definitely became mine. Lol I even missed your Party Alert that a few tagged me to 3 days ago! I am usually responding to those immediately. The only reason I saw your Party listing today was because I noticed when I was looking at your Following Game. Well, I am glad I saw your Party listing finally! Congrats again! 👏👏👏👏

@pearlfectfix I do not know when the first one got posted. I have been a member since May 2013. But they are extremely popular now. Posh allows them so they are an acceptable way to gain more Followers. More and more people, Newly joined even, are putting one on their own pages.

Hi @aam0828 Most of us take the Following Game route to quickly gain more Followers. Read from Bottom to top above to find the closets where many of them are. @ringleader I think said she is involved with Share Groups, another method. I do not do those. Just Following Games, following New Poshers, and people who Like items in my page, etc is how I am mainly gaining more Followers right now. Tag me if you have any questions. @thriftygirl77 Hi! Many are just doing the Following Games. There are some really Huge Ones! I know @allygirl1964 has over 2500 Likes! I mention another one that is really big. If you read from Bottom to top, you will see it. I have it in my Notes @excreations is over 2800! So I recommend you concentrate on the really Big games! I have one that is almost 500 now. @frogs4me430 Congrats! 👍 There are tons of Following Games mixed in with the comments above. Read from Bottom to Top! Are you on the 2 biggest ones? @allygirl1964 @excreations ? You probably are. What about mine? @lolosaw ? If you think you have all of the major FG's covered, then Sharing during tonight's party is viable. I have done it. Go to the Host Picks section. Find people you do not Follow. Follow Them. Congratulate them. Share their HP and about 2-5 more listings in their closet if time permits. That might be enough to motivate them to reciprocate, even Follow you. Some do during the actual Party or the day after. If you have the time tonight, I would go for it. You can also go into old Parties and do the same thing. I have done all of this when I was working on 10K to locate more good people to Follow. Because of Posh Rules, we have to be very careful about who we are following. Unfortunately, some Poshers are enjoying being on Posh even though they are not following all of the Rules. A list of the Rules is found as part of my Following Game listing in my closet. So who are good to follow? Theme Party Hosts for sure! I always make sure I follow all of them! People with HP's are Posh Rules only too so they are good choices as are Suggested Users because both are hand-picked because they abide by the Rules! 👏👏👏 @bkimh Thanks for tagging me. 👯

@bkimh thanks. Me too! I think Posh is working harder to correct it. Suggested Users are supposed to help enforce the Posh Rules so I have been told. Also anyone has the power to report noncompliance while staying anonymous to the Posh offenders. So we all need to help get rid of the Posh offenders so this can be an even better community than it already is. I love being on Posh and I know you do too! 👏👏👏👏

@marlanap Hi Marlana! It's 1am here in Vegas but I'm still awake, lol.. I wanted to tell you how awesome you are & I have to say, you're the most inspiring & passionate Posher I've met here so far!! I just spent almost an hour reading thru this whole chat and oh my how I wish I'd known about your chat site. You know when we all first start, the big question is how do I get followers? You've laid it all out here for so many of us.. I can't wait to tag several newish Poshers to come here & learn the best way to garner more followers as this is the key for more l👀ks in our closets thus increased sales. In the beginning I felt so lost not really having any real tips on the ins & outs of the whole following scenario. I kept getting point of views from the sharing perspective. Well I know that's a huge part of it but it was figuring out where exactly to go to fetch the followers so that I could share. lol. I sort of figured it out on my own in time. My most common way was to follow Poshers I connected with & then go in their closets, share a bunch of their items and then go into their lists of followers or who they're following. Then I'd start to tap each follow, open it, and check if that person is still active or when was the last time they updated their page. I won't follow them if there's no activity at all bc I likely won't get a follow back. I scroll each closet to make sure they're in compliance & then I'll share a few items, 3-5 seems to be the hook or the magic number for them to follow back. Now what is the deal w/some who've got a gazillion followers & you go and share a few things and they might follow you back but won't share any of your listings! Geez, how greedy right? I just let it go, bc I know for every 1 of those, there's 100 that are absolutely so appreciative & will always reciprocate. The follow game is ingenious & it's like having a bonus for a job well done. I have a question- why do many look like they've dialed back on their following# when they've reached let's say 20, 50, 100k+ followers? Is it a vanity thing? ( I'm on Twitter & that's what they say there, lol! ) To me, it would seem like in order to have garnered over 30k followers, a person would've had to at least follow approx. 3x that amount like between 90-100k. I doubt the internal system does this bc I've seen some strange numbers in the 1000's of closets I've seen! Also my counts show the actual real time numbers vs. 10k. Why do some people's show the abbreviated way? I know I'm asking a lot but I come from a science background, lol, originally for many yrs, hence the detailed stuff😊 I then did a 360 & owned a specialty home furnishings & accessories store locally here, so I'm not new to the retail world but I gotta tell you, Posh can be challenging at times! Do you think they'll ever implement private messaging especially when doing price negotiations? Boy, I've seen some awful banter that everyone can see & it gets downright nasty sometimes! Anyway before I write a novel, I'd like to say you're such an asset here on Posh & it's great to see women who sincerely support & root each other on! We'll definitely be in touch😘😘😘 Dorothy💕

@lakeforest Dorothy, I just read all that you said a minute ago. Why thank you so much! 💖💖💖 Helping others is a calling I guess. 😊 I used to teach full-time so maybe I just cannot stop? LOL. 😄 As far as the Followers numbers we see displayed, I know on my iPhone, I can only see my Full Followers Numbers all of the time. Everyone else's is just a K after the Posher hits 10K. I guess the phone app does not display the entire numbers beyond 10K? Not programmed to show them? But on my laptop, I always see everyone's complete total Followers 1-1 Million! 😊😊😊 As far as how many the person is actually Following, I guess some people delete Followers or never Follow that many? Not sure. Also, I do know a few Poshers' counters malfunction so they do not really show how many they really do Follow. I do know I plan to at some point unFollow any Poshers not following Posh Rules. Well, on the Following Games, you know some of them are hiding so you miss vetting all of them. Just too many to vet at once! But I do always vet the Seller who has the Following Game in her closet. If they are breaking some Posh Rules like used swimsuits, NWOT swimsuits, used lingerie, NWOT lingerie, lotions, or used make-up (those are the main violations I see), I choose not to Like their game or tag others. I think that is fair if you believe in upholding the Posh Rules. Well, I hope I answered all of the questions you asked. If not, tag me again with the specific question. Thanky you so much Marlana💗you did answer my questions & it could be that each individual only sees theír virtual real time numbers perhaps '& when we go onto another Poshers page we only see their abbreviated numbers after 10k.. Ok my obsession with that needs to stop, lol!!! I'd love to co-host a party one of these days. What is the criteria besides being in compliance with Posh rules, etc.. I've always wondered. I noticed in the last couple of themed evening parties we've had some newbies already hoisting unless I'm wrong.. I'm so loving it here, nonetheless, and getting to know people like you, vacat, blandw, jaimerstone,( these 2 great gals gave me my very 1st & 2nd HP's ) katz2, luvsmink, ashleyema ( my very 1st sale ) just to name a few have given me the drive to look forward to having something to do & make some $$ on the side. We closed our biz about 3 yrs ago & I was looking for another venue that was creative but yet something we'd have some control over. That's so great you taught school! I admire all teachers because it takes a special person to be kind, patient & generous with their time👏👍and you certainly fit the bill! Hey I'm in Las Vegas & I saw you're in AZ.. It would be a blast if us gals from our neck of the woods could plan a really fun meet & greet party one of these days🎉🎉I'm in my late 50's now, lol!! Hubby & I have no children ( I couldn't bc of major health issues ) so we only have furry babies😻😻& they're our official kids, lol. I'm originally from So. @lakeforest I was in Vegas back in 2012. Drove there on my own to help with the election. I got paid for helping! 👍 But I do not know if I have the patience to drive there on my own again. It takes about 7 hours one way! Yes, I agree that a meet and greet would be great. I am a widow with no kids or pets so I am very independent. I took an early retirement from teaching. It was time! Then I relocated to AZ 5 years ago. I work part-time when I feel like it! No more 9-5 except on Posh LOL! My late husband died many years ago. So now, I date on and off, but no keepers yet. Counting my blessings, I stay positive most of the time. We all have our moments. All in all, I feel blessed and happy too! Posh really helps boost our spirits! It can be a small world because I know all but one of the ladies you mentioned. Good people! In fact, @katz2 has a Post about How to become a Host. She showed it to me and another Posher just yesterday! I will tag you to it. Easy because I saved it in my Likes. New PFF, enjoy the rest of your weekend too! 😎😎😎

@laurasluau Laura, we bring out the 10K troops mainly for the Ladies on the 10K Help Sign. Having your own Following Game in your own closet is what we usually tell our 10K Help Ladies to do now ASAP! I did it myself in May before reaching 10K. In one month, I gained about 3K Followers so I know the Following Game in my closet was a Huge Plus! No, all of the 3K did not come from the Game, but it did still help. So consider an FG in your closet. We can get you on our sign too when there is room. Lol We actually have a Waiting List. I will also start tagging you to Following Games I get notice of via tags too. How does that sound? 😊

Hi, @lesah_88 Lisa, nice meeting you. I looked at your closet. It is a very nice Posh Rules Closet so we would love to help. You need a little more than 600 so you should be done this week. Is that what you are anticipating? What have you been doing to gain Followers? I do have my own Following Game that has over 650 Likes now. 👏 Please join that if you have not already done so. I also recommend you follow these games: @allygirl1964 @excreations and @bellanblue All 3 have over 1,000 Likes. After you follow all 4 I have mentioned, I suggest you wait until tomorrow this time to see how many more Followers you have gained. @lesah_88 Well it sounds like you are definitely doing your 10K homework. Being in Share Groups has worked well for many too. If you want to consider it, you can look in the closet of @sherry8888 for the Angels Share group. You do not want to put up a game yourself? Lately, most
of the Ladies we have helped to 10K are doing that. Well, strongly consider that and tag me to it if you do. 👯👯👯👯👯

@frogs4me430 It is things like that sometimes very hidden that make some not want to join any of them anymore. 😣😣😣 What really gets me is people asking us to help them gain more followers when they know they are not following Posh Rules! We are dealing with that more and more which can be very awkward. We just have to refuse if they do not clean out their closets immediately! if they want any extra help. Every closet that says they are Posh Rules only at the top is not always the case too! 😳😳😳 @la_boutique

@julbecool You are welcome! Congrats on your first sale! I know that is one you will always remember. Well the hearts and faces are on my phone, not the computer I am using right now. The are from the Emoji app. I have all of the images on a second keyboard. You can go into your phone's setting to make it your second keyboard so whenever you are typing anything, you can immediately switch back and forth from the regular keyboard to the Emoji images wherever you want them to go in what you are typing. As far the cool graphics (Thanks) I really only use one Free app (Frame Ur Life) and images I get from the Internet. You will have to ask other Poshers what they are using. I know InstaCollage is another and I think a Beautiful Mess is another popular one that Poshers like. Some people use TimerCam (free app) for their clothing selfies too, but you need lots of good light for that one. I hope this info answers your questions. (-:
