grayasparagus I will start! Since I have been married, my husband and I stay awake until midnight on Christmas Eve... Once it is midnight and officially Christmas Day- we exchange gifts- just the two of us!

angel10 I love sitting down by the fireplace with my family watching all the Christmas movies (Lampoons, Home Alone, etc) with some nice Hot Chocolate with marshmallows :) .

Just started a new tradition this year....elf on the shelf has arrived at our house to keep an eye on Jules 😊also love that John and I go every year by ourselves since we've been dating to go into NYC and spent the day shopping and going to see the tree🎄. Minus the cold weather I 💝this time of year 🎅

amandaj82 @vance289 Aw cute idea 😘💞 We always go to the Festival of Lights (at the zoo near us) with the kiddos before Christmas, that's fun! I enjoy playing Santa for my son now too 😊 He gets so excited! Best pics 💞 The elf is creepy but we have one. She's crazy lol!!

tallison Love this. Our tradition is to spend Christmas Eve w/ my husbands side of the family & Christmas morning w/ mine. Since my dad passed my mom now stays the night w/ us on Christmas Eve & the kids love it. We also watch Christmas vacation. One of the best movies ever!! 💞💞💞💞

So cute, so fun 🎄🎁 A tradition I have with my mother is baking up a bunch of goodies, making trays of all the goodies, and sending them out to family and friends. Definitely the best time of the year. I also enjoy watching Hallmark and Lifetime! Always great movies 🎥

shopjomens This is neat. But uhmmmm My family is scattered around the globe so For the past decade I've found myself always traveling during the holidays. (Not cool) I've spent Christmas in different cities or a different country. But I definitely enjoy the feel they each bring and I love hanging out & playing catch up with family. I look forward to having all my family in one place for Christmas like when we were kids. 💕

anoliver Aww.. Love this Elle❤️ My favorite tradition is participating in Operation Christmas Child. It's a GREAT event by Samaritan's Purse that sends shoeboxes filled with goodies to kids globally that wouldn't get a Christmas gift otherwise. My daughter has done it with me the last two years and we make a day of it- shopping for all kinds of gifts to put in, stopping for lunch, and then wrapping it all up and adding a card. It's a really awesome thing to take part in and they send you info and pics of the child that received your gift❤️

mk4 Oh I like this! Our traditions vary depending of where we celebrate them. If we go to South America for the Holidays ( Where I'm from) the big thing it's Christma's eve, we open our gifts at midnight and we have a big dinner then. If we are here, we go cut our tree, we watch Christmas vacation, we do have Fred the elf come visit too, 😊we open our gifts in the morning and we hang in our pjs all day on Christmas Day . And my hubby and I Always celebrate New Years at the beach dancing and partying with friends. 🎅🎄🎅🎄⭐️🎅🎄⭐️thank you for the tag @anoliver😘

anntyfab Cute idea! Love reading all the traditions 😊 My mom and I always wrap presents and watch 'White Christmas' with Bing Crosby every year! Even now when I have my own daughters. We also see who can make the biggest bow 🎀 and the hardest present to unwrap😁. For my husband and I, we put cards in the Christmas tree 🎄and hide a little present for each other that we find away from the kids. Merry Christmas y'all!! ⛄

keg90 Ok!! So a favorite holiday tradition my family has besides many... Has evolved over the years as the kids got older - On ( or by Christmas Eve .pm) each family member writes a comment; a memory or something nice about the other family member, and doesn't share it with anyone but places it in each persons stocking. Then on C-Mass morning the stocking owner opens their stocking & read the notes from all the other family members aloud! Very fun/ brings about the spirit of Christmas :)

emmyrawrs Lol yupp! My oldest sister is on the 18, my brother is on the 19,and I'm on the 25th. So we used to have 3 different cakes within a week! Yumm! It was delicious lol. My oldest sister moved out so now we only get two cakes within a week, but it's still good! XD

rynlindsay16 On Xmas eve we always do a big dinner with one side of the family! It's a nice way to split Xmas so that we see everyone :) When we arrive home it's usually around midnight and we always open one present which is a new pair of pjs and a new ornament for the tree! 🎄 My mom started this tradition when I was born and now I have an ornament collection that grows with every new year! 😊

ginasjewels4you I grew up in a very LARGE Italian family so on Christmas Eve we ate tons of food and 7 fishes, the fishes were supposed to bring you health and prosperity. At midnight we start opening gifts one at a time and this would usually go on till 3-4 am... Christmas Day is followed with MORE food, and lots of sitting around the table and laughing and talking. 🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Merry Christmas to you!! 😘😘😘😘😘
