stephielyn67 Thank you, many versions nice people have offered ideas and help but I can't figure out how to get back to them again it's like I just get to know them and then I can't figure out who and where they went. I didn't think I needed to write anyone I want to talk with again??

nami001 @stephielyn67 Hi Stephanie, thank you for reaching out to me. The Poshers who reached out to you probably commented on your listing. Go to the listing and just click on their user ID and it will take you to their closet. Also when commenting to someone, use the @ mark before their ID like I did with you. This way they'll get a notification that you commented. If you don't use the @ mark the person won't know you're reaching out to them. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me any time. Happy Poshing! 💕

stephielyn67 Thanks for giving me your time I'm starting to become a bit discouraged, a lot of time I've put into trying to learn about how everything works but not much reward at this point I feel a bit like a addicted but the fix had been me buying and buying when the idea was to thin out my closet and it's working backwards. Giggles it's 6:15am I've been up ironing items trying different apps for photos and my alarm just went off I have to get ready for work.... 😬🌛🚫sleep here! 💟☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

nami001 @stephielyn67 I just looked over your closet and comments. Make sure to use the @ mark when replying to a prospective buyer. They won't know you replied to their question. Or when you're thanking someone for sharing, make sure to use the @ mark in front of their ID. The best way to thank them though, is to return the Posh love and share a few items from their closet.

nami001 @stephielyn67 Awww don't get discouraged. Hang in there! I promise it'll get better. I just started a few months ago (October) and I was a bit discouraged and confused. It'll get better I promise. My advice is to take clear cover shots. Your cover shots is what is going to attract buyers to look more closely at your listing. Try to post as many pictures as possible. Collage apps are the best and they're free! I use Be Funky, Rhonna and PicsArt. When writing your description try to include as much info as possible. For example, if you're selling jeans, provide inseam, waist and rise info. Also promote your closet. Share your listings to your followers and to Posh parties. Share other Posher's listings and they'll return the Posh love and will share your listings to their followers. You just might gain more followers and even a sale. It took me some time to get my first sale so don't get discouraged ok? Oh and you might have a noncompliant item in your closet which will hinder your chances at getting a host pick. Don't know if the VS bra is used or not. If it is, you can't sell it. If it's new with out tags, you should put NWOT in the title. Hope this helps. If you ever need help, just tag me here or if you just want to chat. Have a good day at work. It's 130am here in Hawaii so I'm going to bed now 😁 zzzz

nami001 @karijoelle Hi Kari, actually Posh advises against asking someone if they're interested simply because they liked your listing. It's like if you were at a store and every time you picked something up to look at the sales clerk asks you if you want to buy it. I'd advise against asking. Hope this helps and if you need anything, please visit here. Have a good evening .

I did stop by to congratulate you though. You might want to thank Nancy. You can do that by tagging her on the listing with the HP. Congratulations again on your fabulous host pick 💕

nami001 @gators73 I'm bringing the convo here instead 😉. Posh doesn't have a 1 click option when sharing from the app. You'll have to open the listing and share however, if you're sharing from your computer you can click on the share box that's located on the bottom right hand corner. Sometimes if you're in a large share group, it might be easier & faster to share from your computer. Hope this helps and if you're going to join the share group I introduced you to, make sure to introduce yourself to the hostess of the group 💕

asaia
asaia @nami001 so nice of you to do this =D My question stems off of the above convo...Etiquette: When people give you a congrats on a Host Pick should you reply to each one with an individual comment or is it ok to tag them all in one big thank you reply? I had my first HP the other day and I let the dogs out for a couple minutes and came back to multiple congrats and I didn't know how to handle it...didn't want to be rude but also didn't want to unintentionally make another faux pas (I saw others ask "interested?" And while it seemed goofy I thought it was the norm so I went along...)
Feb 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @asaia Hi Andrea, I'm Emy and thank you for reaching out to me. Congratulations on your first host pick! I see that you've showcased it which is a good thing. Not only will it build your confidence, buyers will be confident with you as a seller too. In regards to your question about thanking people who congratulate you on a host pick, it's ok to tag everyone who congratulated you and send out one thank you. Posh does advise against mass tags though but in some cases you just have to. If you're going to mass tag, just apologize for the mass tag. For me personally, I like to thank people 2 at a time. If it's someone I've become close to, then I'll thank them individually. So it's really a matter of preference. The way I look at it is, since they've taken the time to stop by and congratulate me, the least I can do is not mass tag them on a thank you. Don't forget to thank the host who picked your listing, this one I'd definitely would just tag the host.
Feb 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @asaia sorry I sent the message before I was finished...ugh, I'm a dork lol. I can understand how you would think it's the norm to ask people if they're interests when they like your item because lots of people do that. I usually reply with "just window shopping" or I don't respond at all lol. Also I wanted to invite you to follow @official_forum where there's lots of helpful tips to grow your closet. If someone asks you to take a transaction offline don't do it, you won't be protected if something goes wrong. The majority of women on here want you to succeed but unfortunately there are some shady ones so don't give out your email address or phone number. Thank you again for reaching out to me and if you ever need help, I'm just a tag away. I'm in Hawaii so if I don't get back to you right away, I'm probably sleeping lol. Welcome to Posh & congratulations again on your first host pick! This is just 1 of many more to come 💕
Feb 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @asaia One more thing, lol, sorry. You don't have to thank people right at that moment. I usually wait a couple of hours after the party. I sometimes even do it the next day. I've had people thank me for the cheers weeks later. I guess my point is, it's better late than never 💕. Also the more you interact with the people on Posh whether it's to congratulate them on a host pick or thank them for the cheers, you'll find your followers will grow. Happy Poshing and reach out to me any time 💕

bellalize
bellalize Hey Emy. So I am starting to plan a little trip to Circus circus in Nevada with my daughter's. Doctors and genetic counselor say the best thing is to take her places, take lots of photos and make lots of memories. Her health is on a downward spiral and she is stage 2/aggressive of her Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Deficiency. So I wanted to have a nice outfit to go. The girls are all set, just need shoes for them. I was looking at the AE green zipper pants, Camo heels by Rampage, the Hollister leggings. I wanted a comfy shirt for leggings and nice top for the other outfit. Though I am not sure if I can get all 3 pieces wanted just to see how much it would run.

Feb 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @gossipthesalon Hi Krissy! The lotions and body spray mists are things that you can't sell but I see you've already taken them down 💕. Reason you can't sell these is because the post office prohibits these items. Your closet is cute and you have thoughtful pictures. Your cover shot is what's going to attract buyers to take a peek at your listings. When listing clothes, try to maximize the amount of space you have to write the description. For pants, include measurements such as inseam, rise and waist size. For tops include underarm to underarm measurements and length from shoulder to hem. You don't have to do this but it does provide the buyer with additional info. Since you're only allowed 4 pictures, use some free apps so that you can make a collage and show your potential buyer more pics. So far your closet is off to a very good start! Oh and follow @official_forum where there's lots of info to help you maximize your closet. Share your listings to your followers & parties for more exposure. You'll find that if you share other Posher's listings the favor will be returned and that's great exposure for your closet. Sorry for the long message. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'm here for you when ever you need it. Just tag me ok? Have a happy Posh week 💕
Feb 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @gossipthesalon Hi again, was just going thru your closet. You can't sell used undergarments even if it was worn once. You can sell NWT or NWOT. For Posh parties, host love to pick from newer closets that haven't had host picks yet. They only pick from closets that are following all Posh rules. Once you take down your non compliant item, I'd be more than happy to tag you with upcoming party notices so that your closet can get more exposure 💕

bellalize I have a quick question. I wrote in to host a party months ago. I also wrote in for SU status. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have the followers, the shares, the sales. I'm top rated and top 10% when I first started Posh before I met my mentor I had purchased I think 2 perfumes, not knowing it was against policy. I also not sure if the prayer request post is against posh policy. I take Posh really serious and am really down about this. Any advice?

nami001 @bellalize Oh my sweet PFF, I don't like seeing you down or worried. Please don't be discouraged. I'm not sure how PM selects SUs, I didn't write to them, I wasn't aware that you could so I don't know how I got it. As for you buying perfume in the beginning I doubt that is affecting your good standing with Posh. I've seen users who are SUs and who've hosted parties that have unsupported items in their closet and also promote payment thru other means. Don't fret PFF, I adore you and you'll get SU status. When did you write to them? Maybe it takes a few months because there's probably a lot of people asking for that. Maybe send a gentle email asking again. For hosting l, I didn't write to Posh asking to host because to be honest I'm still not confident so I was surprised they asked me. For Posh parties, I've been noticing that the hosts are newer closets. I think you just need to give it time and don't worry. You know, I cancelled a sale because I wasn't comfortable with the buyer and I thought for sure I'd lose my SU but I didn't and was asked to host so I doubt your perfume purchase will affect you. I can't believe they took down your listing! You weren't asking for donations. Maybe you can plead your case with them. I really don't think that will affect your status with Posh either. Please PFF don't get discouraged. You have a cute closet and in sure Posh will recognize you soon. I know how dedicated you are and how active you are with the community and super helpful too. Hang in there PFF. I'll contact you again later, I'm about to go to dinner with some clients so I'll message you later tonight. Chin up sister, you got this!! xoxo

oliviawolk Hi! I don't really understand parties. When I share things to them I can never see my stuff in it! Can you tell me more about them?
Feb 18Reply
nami001
nami001 @oliviawolk Hi Olivia, thank you for reaching out to me. When you share your listings to Posh parties it will be in the Main Show Room. Since there are literally more than 200,000 Poshers sharing their listings, you'll have to scroll through a lot before seeing yours. The first 2 parties of the day usually has a theme, like handbags for example so only handbags can be shared to the party. When you share appropriate listings to the party, your listing if NWT will be in that showroom. If your listing is being shared for the first time to a party then it'll be in the First Look showroom. It sounds though as you've been sharing to parties. Your listings will be in the Main Show Room. If you receive a host pick, your listing will be exclusively in the Host Pick showroom. You'll be notified by the host and email when you do receive a host pick. I hope this helps you. Please feel free to reach out to me any time 💕 Emy

nami001 @dez_dez_dez Hi Dez, thank you for reaching out to me. First don't fret or worry. Mistakes happen. If you've already sent out the packages, you'll need to contact both buyers and tell them. Make sure to tell them it was an oversight on your part. Since you've contacted Posh, Posh will most likely send them a return shipping label. Once you get the package back, you can send it to the appropriate buyer if your buyer still wants to go through with the transaction. This won't affect your standing with Posh so don't worry about that. Mistakes happen and most of the women in here are very understanding. Hope it works out for you. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Oh & make sure to contact the buyers and let them know that you're doing all you can to make it right. As long as your in contact with your buyer they'll feel as if you're trying to work it out. Good luck and congratulations on your sales 💕

nami001 @bellalize Hi my lovely!! Been wondering how you've been. I commented on your seller's listing a couple of days ago. I love how your closet is looking. So proud of you! I know it's time consuming and you're a very busy lady. I'm sure you'll be hosting a party soon and even a SU! When Posh asked me to host, they told me to pick from closets that were clear and didn't have a lot of clutter on the cover shot. I'm guessing they mean all the writing and collages. I've seen some closets that have so much writing or things on the cover shot it's hard to figure out what they're selling lol. But yours is nice! You know, I had a nomination and when I checked the closet it was full of non compliant things! Men's clothing, baby stuff and even wrapping paper! I'm like "uh.. Don't think so..next!" Lol. I wasn't sure if you wanted me to tag you on party notices but I did it anyway lol. I'll include you in them from now on. I'm having a hard time keeping up with comments because my newsfeed is flooded. Ugh. We are going to get you to host a party and SU!! Yay!! Believe cuz I believe in you 💕

jsully8228 @nami001 Aloha Emy, I got tired of reading so much but great post! I have not had a Poshmark pick yet. However I have seen many of them I find it highly annoying that there are so many comments about it and people thanking them. Not to be a party pooper. But I will automatically click off of the item if I see that; lines and lines if thank yous. It's entirely distracting and counter-productive. Why is it encouraged to thank all of your supporters, "2 at a time"... I was so disturbed to see that answer :(
Feb 28Reply
jsully8228
jsully8228 @nami001 I should clarify; it's not so much the thank yous, but the congrats. They clutter the feed where you're not able to easily filter the details you're looking for about the item.
Feb 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @jsully8228 Hi Jennifer! Thank you for reaching out to me. I think I understand what you're saying. You want to know why people congratulate host picks, right? People do this as a way of cheering and celebrating with the recipient. After posting congratulations to the host pick, they usually share that item to their followers. The host pick recipient will then share a few items from that person's closet as a way of showing their appreciation for taking the time to comment. This is also a way of interacting with the Posh community more and getting more exposure for your closet. For example, if a host pick has 15k followers and they share a few of your items to their followers, your closet has now been exposed to 15k people. Plus it always makes the person who received it feel good knowing that people are taking the time to go through the party and congratulate them. If a host pick had no congrats on it, it would be lonely lol. It also gives the seller a boost of confidence and also the buyer. I know it makes their comment feed looking cluttered but a seller is always happy to answer questions even if it was asked before. Personally, I don't go through the comments looking to see if what I want to know has been answered. For me it's much quicker to just ask the seller. As for not having a host pick yet, I think you have a cute closet and are deserving of a host pick. As long as you're following Posh rules, I'm sure you'll start picking up host picks. You'll have to interact with the Posh community more and getting your closet more exposure. If you're not following @official_forum yet, follow them for some helpful tips for your closet. Also @pm_editor has info on how to get a host pick etc. Share your listings to Posh parties when you can for more exposure. Also share other Posher's listings and the favor will be returned. The more you share the better. Follow people who have similar tastes as you and share their listings. The more people who share your closet the better. You might come across a host who's getting ready for a party and they just might pick your closet for a host pick. I'm not sure if you're looking for one but it truly is an honor to get one & when you do, people will congratulate you. If you want I can help you promote your closet and will share to my followers. I hope this answers your question and I'm sorry for the long response. Aloha !
Feb 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @jsully8228 Almost forgot. Posh advises against mass tagging so that's why you see people thanking others 2 or 3 people at a time. Some people still mass tag but I guess it's up the individual. Personally for me, I'll tag 2 people at a time if there's a lot to thank because for me at least, they took the time to go through the party and they also took the time to congratulate me and share my listing to their followers. For me I think it's more personal instead of mass tagging my thank yous. Hope you have a great weekend and if you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to tag me, ok? I'm sharing your listings to my followers. Hope it helps you gain more followers 💕

thefunkyroyals Thanks for posting this! Always good info to know or be reminded of. Even though I've read the rules several times there's been a couple grey areas that I've had to ask friends I've met here "what do you think about this?". What I didn't know is that there is a forum for Posh! So I'm a perfect example of " You learn something new every day"! I'm not brand new here but haven't been here a year yet so I always appreciate people who take the time to help others. So again, thank you! Will be sharing w/my followers! Have a great day👑

nami001 @bodyworksmia Hi Barb! Thank you for reaching out to me. I use free collage apps to make 2 framed or even up 6 framed photos. Really comes in handy when you only ham upload 4 pics. I use Be Funky, Pics Art, Photo Collage, & Pic Collage. I find myself using Be Funky and Pics Art the most. Thank you for stopping by. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me lol or just tag me. Have a beautiful weekend 💕 Aloha !

nami001 @royalfunkies Aww thank you Lisa, you totally just made my day! Quite possibly my whole weekend lol. Anytime you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me even if it's just to chat ok? I'm in Hawaii, so if I don't respond right away it's probably because I'm catching up on some zzz's. Lol. Have a beautiful weekend! Oh and btw, you have such a cute closet! Aloha!

nami001 @royalfunkies Sorry Lisa, I forgot to mention, the @official_forum has a listing that has "tricks" to using Posh. It's tricks posted by other Poshers. For example, I didn't know that the fastest way to share your listings is just to click the right hand top corner where it says "edit", just click on that, then next and save and voila you just shared your listing without having to scroll through your listing & then click on share. Wait, you might already know this little trick lol and it's just me who found out a couple of months ago lol. Thank you again for your kind words and reaching out. Aloha!

thefunkyroyals You are so welcome & thank you. No I didn't know the things you told me. So to find the forum do I do the search here or on the online blog? Also I'm confined to my iPad right now due to some major life changes that have effected me on every possible level. Anyhow hopefully I can do that trick from it! I love learning about all this stuff, especially being kind of new here. Everything has been a learning process as I've gone along. I try to do everything right, be everything I can here in this community. Even though everything in my closet is nice, new, listed far less than I paid & I try to work with people, I didn't realize until a week or so ago that I had 3 listings that were on the No-No list! They were brand new, sealed, really nice items, very similar to so much that I see people list here. I was really shocked. I've read thru the rules many times but these items are in kind of a grey area according to their rules, something I think they should make more definitive. Anyhow it's always nice for me to be able to learn new things so I really appreciate people like you who care enough to take the time! You have a fan girl! Hawaii! My cousin lives in Hawaii, I forget the name of her city because she just had to move not too long ago. She loves it there, sends me the most gorgeous pictures all the time. She's been trying to get me to come there for awhile but I've been unable to due to a series of major life changing events. I'd love to go, it's been yrs since I've been to Hawaii, one of my favorite place to go. Ah well maybe someday I'll get to go again! I'm so glad to have met you! I hope you are having a wonderful day & thanks again! 👑

nami001 @royalfunkies Hi Lisa! I'm sorry your going through such troubling times. Just know you can turn to me if you just want to chat. You don't have to go into detail but I'm here to cheer you on and support you 💕. To follow @official_forum just click on it ⬅️ and it'll direct you to the page. Then just follow them. Also follow @pm_editor where you'll find updates and party line up notices. Lots of people on here aren't aware of what you can and cannot sell. I also see lots of unsupportive items. When people first start out they think it's ok to sell anything because they see it in their newsfeed or they just happen to run across it. The way I explain it is, "if you can't wear it, you can't sell it", lol. Also no liquids, like perfumes because it's actually against USPS policy to send liquids thru the mail. Since Posh is a place for women's fashion of course baby clothes or men's clothes are against the rules. I've seen people selling used makeup (eewww unsanitary) and even used undergarments (double eeeww) that's just kinda gross, lol. Of course designed replicas are a no-no since it's actually against the law but you'll see people selling them anyway. Your closet though is cute and it's compliant so yay! I've posted a just a bit of what isn't allowed, up there ⬆️ in one of my photos but you'll find more details at the official forum or by reading Guide to Poshmark. As for sharing your listings, it's actually easier from your iPad. One the right hand bottom corner there should be a small box with an arrow. Just click on that and you've just now shared to all your followers. Share to your followers & parties as much as possible. Also share other people's listings and they'll return the favor. Your closet will get more exposure, attract followers and potential buyers. I'm always telling people that their share count should be at least double that of their followers. You'll attract more followers that way but perhaps that's just my personal feeling. If you'd like, I can help you gain more followers and get more exposure for your closet. From your end though, just share, share, share. When I first started last Oct, I was a bit discouraged but just happen to run across some awesome ladies who mentored me. So I always promised myself that once I was more established I would reach out to help others. It really is my pleasure to help you and I want you to succeed 💕. Hawaii is a nice place but it gets boring since we have the same weather all the time plus it's an island so it's not like I can jump in my car and go to a different state lol. I actually grew up in Japan so it was a big difference and a bit of a culture shock for me lol. I'm sorry this message is so long. I really appreciate your sweet words, you've totally made my weekend. Remember, reach out to me any time even if it's to just chat ok? Hope you have a beautiful weekend. I know you're going through some trying times so know I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm your cheerleader all the way from Hawaii 💕😘

thefunkyroyals
thefunkyroyals Thank you so much! You've made my weekend too! Thank you for all the shares & looking thru my closet too, my goodness that must have kept u busy for a while! I'm super big on sharing. I've been in and out of the hospital so it's been a little harder for me lately but I always try to share atleast 5 items or more from every new follower I get & share the listings of followers, friends I already have. I'm so behind in everything in life right now, trying to play catch up while very sick is hard but I do try very hard to do everything to support this community & members! I have a mountain of stuff to list & am so overwhelmed! Also trying to sell as much as I can as fast as I can, which is going so slow, because the medical bills along with not being able to work is killing me! Urg. Anyhow I so appreciate your help, your words & kindness. Don't ever worry about long posts w/me, I can be a talker & have written many long posts to people too! My cousin says the same things about being confined on an island. As much as she loves it, there are some things that are difficult or sooo expensive due to everything having to be shipped in from somewhere. Moving from Japan, wow, that's a big move! Did you move w/your family, friend(s) or by yourself? My cousin has tried talking me into moving over there but I can't even wrap my brain around how Id move the mass amount of stuff I have & my 2 babies, my Golden Retrievers. They've never been crated in their lives, we are together 24-7 & would be so scared on a airline flight. I'd literally have to find a way to be right next to them & even still they'd be really scared. Although it's been awhile if I go on vacation I have a pet sitter come to my house because they're indoor only, I'm not one for kennels something that would also depress them. They follow me everywhere, if I get up & move they get up & move. I jokingly call them my Velcro babies. When I leave for days at a time, that's stressful for them so having a pet sitter come to their own environment is the least stress on them. Okay now look who's making the long post! Told ya, I can be a talker. Anyhow thank you again for everything, I'm so glad we met! Hope you have a great day & look forward to talking with you again soon! 🐾👑🎀

nami001 @stacyw79 Hi Stacy! Thank you for reaching out to me. Hmm, that's strange how you're not able to use a prepaid debit card. I'm going to look further into it but for now, since you said the zip code matches, I'm thinking maybe try to register your card. As far as I know it shouldn't be a problem. Have you called the issuer of the prepaid card to make? Give me a little bit. I'm going to research this for you & will get back to you as soon as I can ok?
Mar 03Reply
nami001
nami001 @stacyw79 Hi Stacy, sorry it took me awhile to get back to you. I googled and searched the Internet for answers and every one that I came across mentioned that Posh doesn't accept prepaid debit cards or prepaid Visa cards. I could be wrong since these were just questions and answers from regular users. I couldn't find anything on Posh that says they don't accept prepaid debit for payment. I'm going to refer your question to a seasoned veteran with the hopes she can better assist you. I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help. @katz2 Hi Clara, was hoping you would have some insight on this. Stacy is trying to pay with a prepaid debit but it comes back as invalid. Any thoughts? More details in the above comments. Thank you for your help PFF 💕
Mar 03Reply
katz2
katz2 @stacyw79 Hi Stacy! Hi Emy! As far as I know, Posh accepts the cards if the funds are available on it. So I guess I would check the balance on the card and be sure it covers the entire transaction and that there are no pending purchases against the card either. Hope this helps a little.💕
Mar 03Reply
nami001
nami001 @katz2 Thank you Clara! You're the bestester! That's probably what it is since Posh told Stacy to make sure the zip codes were the same. All I found on the Internet was a few people complaining about not being able to pay. Thank you again PFF!

nami001
nami001 @vwinn47 You're so welcome Vivian. Now that your closet is Posh compliant and you're a Posh Rules Girls, let's start getting your closet some exposure and hopefully followers and potential buyers. Start sharing your listings as much as possible to your followers and to appropriate Posh parties. You should be sharing your listings a lot to get exposure. Think of it this way. You have a stack of newspapers and as you get new ones you just stack them on top of the old ones. Eventually the old ones are way at the bottom. Now of you take the old newspapers and put it on the top people are more likely going to grab the first few ones on the top rather than go through all of them. Same as your listings, every time you share it goes to the top of the pile. Now if you share other people's listings they'll return the favor and will share your listings to their followers. I usually tell people that their share count should be at least double that of their follower count. This shows other Poshers that you interact with the Posh community and that you're a sharer. So share share share! You can ask for help any time or if you just want to chat, you know where to find me 💕

katz2
katz2 @stacyw79 Stacy, I'm sorry it's not working for you. I guess I would question the place where I purchased the card as to why it's saying invalid zip code. I just googled that error and it states that the Address Verification System checks the billing address on the card including the zip code, against the address on file at the credit card company. They advise to check with the issuing bank if there are errors. Hope this helps.

nami001 @stacyw79 Hey there! To make bundles, just make a new listing for the buyer and include pics of what's in the bundle so there's no dispute. For the cover shot on my bundles I find a cute pic on the Internet and use that. To insert writing I use an app called Rhonna. It's free. To make rules listing I do the same thing. Get a pic from the Internet and then use Rhonna to overlay fonts on top of it. I like to maximize the photos and take as many pics possible. I use collage apps. My faves are Be Funky, Pics Art and Pic Collage. You can also overlay fonts on pics with these apps. Hope this helps 💕

nami001 @badluckgirl34 Hi Kathy, it's against Posh policy to advertise your closet in another person's closet. I'm sure you're not aware of it & since this listing is for Posher's who need help I thought I'd reach out and help you with that information. If your are indeed closing your closet then you should advertise it in your own closet with a listing stating that and share it to your followers. Just trying to help you out. Also the gift card you have up for sale is non-compliant & against Posh rules to sell. To know what you can and cannot sell read Guide to Poshmark. Also follow @official_forum for more info.

donnamz2 @nami001 Hi, I'm Donna, nice to meet you! I desperately need help! I try to introduce myself to all the party hosts and ask them to please try and look over my closet and if they have time to please offer any suggestions for my closet, but no one ever any answers. I follow all the rules I'm aware of and even ask to have host picks, but still no answers. I can't even get tagged by any one so I could get notified about parties before the day before announcements. What do I do? I want to improve but I'm getting so depressed from trying. Please help if you have the time because I'm about to quit.😂
Mar 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @donnamz2 Hi Donna, I'm Emy and it's a pleasure to meet you. First, please don't despair or get depressed. Hang in there and I promise things will get better. I haven't had a chance to go over your closet yet, because I wanted to respond to you right away. For me personally, I don't ask hosts for host picks but there are lots of people who do. I just congratulate them. If a host asks to be tagged with a closet that hasn't had a host pick yet, then you should lightly mention it. If a host asks to be tagged with a listing that might fit their theme then that's ok too. I hosted last month and 1 girl tagged me with her entire closet asking for a host pick. It got a bit annoying because she did this for a couple of days. My advice to you is to interact with the Posh community. Attend Posh parties & congratulate host pick recipients. It's time consuming but the more often people see your closet popping up to congratulate host picks the better. This will also help build your follower base. Share other Posher's listings as much as possible and the favor will be returned. Share your listings as much as possible. Some hosts see a potential host pick come across their newsfeed. Only share from closets that are compliant though. The more you share your listings the more exposure you're getting but the more Posher's listings you share you'll get even more exposure. For example if I shared any of your listings, your closet has been exposed to all of my followers. Most hosts won't respond to hp request, not because they're ignoring you, because they get a ton of notifications. My notifications were in the high 900s every morning and continued throughout the day. As long as you stopped by and congratulated them, your closet is permanently there on their listing. Most hosts will go down the list and check out closets so there really isn't a need to keep asking for one. Not saying that you do that but there are people who do. I'm going to pop over to your closet and check it out. You are a Posh rules girl right? No non compliant items, replicas or off posh transactions? Let me go check on the mean time, don't give up 💕

nami001 @stacyw79 🎉🎊 Congrats on your first sale Stacy 🎉🎊!! I checked your sold listing and you did good by tagging them and letting them know. Some times the buyer will respond and some times not but it's always good to keep on communicating even if they don't respond. Instead of saying you'll ship soon, if you know a day you're going to send it, you should put that in there. Since it's Saturday, you probably won't ship till Monday right? Just say you'll ship on Monday. Good job and congratulations again! Woot woot!!

nami001
nami001 @stacyw79 On Monday, contact the buyer after you mailed it to let them know it's been sent. It's always a nice gesture to keep in contact wit the buyer, they'll appreciate it 💕. Once your buyer receives the item, they have a couple of days to accept the package. For me I don't ask the buyer to accept the package when I see that it's been delivered to them. When it's been delivered, you'll see in the shipping status that the package is "pending acceptance" this just means that Posh is waiting for the buyer to say they're satisfied with their item before releasing your funds to you. Some buyers probably aren't aware of this. If the buyer hasn't "accepted" the package by the 4th day, Posh will automatically release your money to you. I've seen sellers asking the buyer to accept the package as soon as they "see" it's been delivered. For me personally I don't like to do that. I just wait for the 4 days or until buyer accepts. Anyway, congrats on your sale again!! Wishing you many more 💕
Mar 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @stacyw79 Hi Stacy! It's against Posh policy and also against the law to sell replicas. The fact that you didn't mention it or that your buyer didn't ask you, doesn't matter - it's against the law. Seems as if your buyer opened up a case and Posh is in the process of reviewing it. Most likely she'll have to send the purse back to you and Posh will refund her. Your closet has noncompliant items that you should take down. To know what you can and can't sell read Guide to Posh. I have a few listed on this listing in the pics. Everyone makes mistakes and at one point or another has done something that was against Posh policy, not knowing clearly what is allowed. As long as you educate yourself and follow Posh rules, you should be ok. Have a good day Stacy 💕
Mar 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @stacyw79 I know, unfortunately some buyers don't communicate with the sellers. I always stay in contact with my buyer. Letting them know I got their package ready and then when I ship it. Half of the time I never hear anything from them at all. I only know they received the package because they've released the funds or Posh released it after 4 days of them getting the package. Oh well lol. Have a good day ok? Take down those noncompliant items ok? 💐

billeereuling how do you trade??
Mar 11Reply
nami001
nami001 @billeereuling Hi Billee, thank you for reaching out to me. Trading though allowed on Posh isn't recommended, simply because in the event something goes wrong you will not be protected. Unfortunately there are people who will scam you and send you something that isn't what they promised. If you're going to trade, you'll have to work out the details with whoever you're trading with. Again, since Posh doesn't support this there is no guidelines or rules set forth by Posh. If you trade, you basically lose the layer of protection that Posh offers to buyers. Hope this helps. Please reach out again if you need anything 💕

Mar 11Reply
nami001
nami001 @lax28 Hi Lorie, thank you for reaching out to me. Host picks are selected by hosts of a virtual Posh party. You don't have to get your listings ready for themed Posh parties. Hosts peruse closets that are compliant with Posh rules and select listings that they feel fits the theme for their party. They then showcase these listings in the host pick showroom. You can share your closet to Posh parties and it doesn't have to fit the theme. There are 3 parties a day, the first two are usually a certain item like handbags or maybe a certain designer. Only listings that fit that description can be shared. The last party of the night is hosted by regular Poshers and they're the ones who find host picks. You can still share your entire closet to the last party even if it doesn't fit the theme. Your listings will show up in the main showroom. I encourage you to share your closet as much as possible to all parties to gain more exposure for your closet. I'm assuming you haven't had a host pick yet? I'm going to check out your closet. Brb 💕
Mar 11Reply
nami001
nami001 @lax28 Hi again, I checked out your closet and you're not sharing to your followers enough. You should be sharing at least a couple of times a day. Think of it this way, all of your listings are advertisements and they sit there until moved. If you don't move it to the top of the pile it's going to get buried at the bottom until you move it to the top. Make sense? You have a cute closet & on one of your listings you marked as sold, you say it was sold on a different website. That might be hurting your chances at getting a host pick. It's not complaint with Posh rules. When hosts are looking for potential host picks, they do read through comments as well to make sure what they're selecting is compliant with Posh. That's one of the most important requirement when hosting. For more info read Guide to Poshmark and also follow @official_forum. If you need help please feel free to reach out to me again 💕 Happy Poshing 💕

nami001 @mzpika Hi Chrissy! First welcome to Posh! Thank you for reaching out to me. For host picks, make sure your closet is compliant with Posh rules. Know what you can and can't sell and don't take your transaction off of Posh. I took a quick peek in your closet and you seem to be off to a good start. I haven't gone through your comments and as long as your not promoting a different app or payment option you are doing great. Also trading isn't advised here because you won't be protected if something goes wrong and some people are unethical. Promote your closet by self sharing a lot. Share to your followers and share to Posh parties. Attend Posh parties where there are hosts and congratulate host pick recipients. This way you're interacting with the Posh community and getting more exposure for your closet. Plus by interacting more you'll gain potential followers and buyers. Also share other Posher's listings as much as possible and the favor will be returned. The more shares you have the better. This let's other Posher's know that you're engaging with the community. You're closet is really cute & I think you'll pick up host picks as long as you're a Posh rules compliant girl. If you are indeed following all Posh rules, you should make a listing in your closet that says you follow Posh rules. This let's potential hosts know they can trust your closet & give you a host pick. I hope this helps you. Feel free to reach out to me at any time, ok? Welcome to Posh again and just have a blast 💕

nami001 @shari23114 Hi Shari, I'm Emy and it's nice to meet you. The best way to start getting more followers is to put up a follow game listing in your closet. Once you do that, you several of your followers, including me and we'll start directing people to your listing. I will tag you with a few follow game listing so you'll have an idea what to write and what it's about. With the follow games: like the listing, tag a few friends and then share. Make sure to follow everyone who's on the listing and they'll follow you back. When you make your own listing people will do the same. Also interact more with the community by attending Posh parties & congratulating host pick recipients. You'll start picking up followers the more you interact 💕. Have a great day 💕

nami001 @mzpika Good morning! No,it's not necessary to congratulate again or acknowledge my tag if you've already been by to congratulate the host. I get more than 1 notification from different people and I sometimes (ok most of the times) don't get to congratulate them right away. When I finally do, I'll include everyone who tagged me in my thank yous. If you're already getting party notices, I can take you off of mine. Personally I like to get more than 1 because I sometimes forget 😁 but it's up to you. Hope you have a great day 💕

Also include a note asking people to check back to follow everyone who's liked the listing. For you, follow everyone who's liked the listing. I've seen people gain lots of followers by doing this. Hope this helps

mecina @nami001 Thank you, I read the Posh guide or was it the Posh etiquette it was one of them. Anywho when I read about bundling it said at the customer request you can bundle but it doesn't say how. That's why i ask was it only at the request of the customer. Can you help further????? As how to bundle???? Or is it somewhere else i can read?
Mar 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina Hi Jameka! Of course I'm happy to help you. If a buyer requests a bundle it's because they're going to buy more than 1 of your items. They will ask you to combine their likes into one "bundle" (box) so this way they only have to pay shipping 1 time. Usually sellers give a discount on bundles and it could range anywhere from 10% up, depending on what you want to give. If I haven't discounted the item already, I usually give between 10% to 15% discount on the entire purchase, but again it's up to you how much you want to give. Let's say I like 3 of your items and I ask you what's the best price you can give me, you'll total up the listing price and from there give whatever discount you want. Also, you'll need to create a new listing that says "Bundle for xxxxx" and make sure to include pictures of what's in the listings. This is so that there is no dispute later. Since you can only post 4 pics on here, if you have more than that, use free collage maker called Be Funky (it's my fave) and include pics of everything that's going in the box. Lastly, if you do a bundle, don't forget to mark the original listing "not for sale" & in the title write "Sold in bundle". Once you get your bundle up, you can tag the buyer to let them know it's ready for them. I'll tag you on one of my past bundles so you can get an idea. Please reach out to me at any time ok? 💕

nami001 @mecina Hi again, was just going through your closet and sharing your listings. I think you're not sharing your listings enough. You should share your listings to your followers and to Posh parties as much as possible. This is to gain more exposure for your closet & to hopefully gain more followers and potential buyers. The way I like to explain it is, think of your closet listings as newspaper advertisements. Every time you list something it goes into a category pile, someone else comes along and lists something that fits the category your listing is in. Each time someone does that, your listing gets buried further and further on the bottom of the pile. Every time you share your listing to your followers or to a party, you're putting your listing at the top of the pile. Make sense? Also share other Posher's listings and they'll return the favor & you just might gain some more followers or potential buyers. 💕

nami001 @whatsleft Hi Sharon! What kind of phone do you have? iPhone?
Mar 17Reply
nami001
nami001 @whatsleft Sharon! Congrats on being featured woot woot! Ok, do you know how to take a screen shot? If you're on an iphone you press the menu button (the round one at the bottom in the middle) and the power button on the top right (top of the phone). You press both of these at the same time. This is how you snap shot your screen. Snap shot all of the pics and they'll go to your picture album. From there you can crop them to fit (crop out the unnecessary lines etc) into the picture upload. Once you crop the pics you can now upload to your closet. Most importantly take a snap shot of the screen. You can also do this on an iPad if that's what you're using. Hope this helps. So excited for you !!

whatsleft @nami001 Ok I will practice this! I did take pic's of it on my computer ! But I never did figure this out, plus I just got my new iPhone 6 ! Thank you very much! I will make this a lot better now! This is a big honor! I am still in shock! Thank you so much!!! Have a very happy day🍀🍀🍀💚💚💚
Mar 17Reply
nami001
nami001 @whatsleft Since you have the iPhone 6, it'll be super easy. Go to the listing that mentions you and "snap shot the screen" by this I mean press the round button located at the bottom middle of the screen (it's the button you push to unlock your phone) and the power button at the same time. This is snap shot and it takes a picture of what ever is displayed on your screen. You can do this for anything that is displayed on your screen. You'll have to crop the picture which you can do from your picture album. If you need help, let me know. I'm heading to bed now but will talk to you tomorrow, well in a few hours lol. Aloha 💕

greeneyedlo Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to authenticate vintage Valentino clothing? Thank you so much :)
Mar 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @greeneyedlo Hi Laura, thank you for reaching out. Is this an item you bought or are going to buy here? If so, Posh has a concierge service where they'll validate if the item is authentic or not. I believe it costs $39 to authenticate. The seller would send it to Posh and once Posh authenticates they'll send the item to you. If it's something you have and are going to sell, I'm not sure if Posh has that service. There might be some Posher's on here who can give you an idea but I think they'd have to see the item in person. Also you can google it and most websites will tell you what to look for to tell if its a replica or authentic. I hope this helps. If you need more help, just let me know and I'll ask around for you. Sorry I probably won't respond right away because it's 3am here in Hawaii but I will get back to you as soon as I get up in a few hours. Have a fantastic day. Aloha from Hawaii 💕

owens1111 Why does it take so long for posh support to reply to questions. I am waiting for a full refund on an item and received a message yesterday telling me that if the item did not reach the return destination by the 23rd, I would not be refunded. The seller sent a message saying she received item on the 20th and told me that the way I shipped it may cause a delay in my refund and suggested that I email them the tracking number. I did so through both posh support and email, however, I yet to get a reply!! It seems frustrating with email and problem inquiry being the only two sources of contact. I don't understand why a business this big doesn't have a customer support number. Feeling very frustrated!! 😩
Mar 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Hi Teri, thank you for reaching out to me. I'm sorry you're having a not so pleasant experience with Posh. I understand your frustration. I too would be very frustrated and annoyed. My understanding of your situation is, you bought an item & you sent it back to the seller, right? Did Posh send you a return label to use? You indicated the seller said and received the item back, correct? I believe once the seller receives the returned item, they have x amount of days to inspect the item. After that they'll indicate to Posh they received the item back in satisfactory condition and then they'll release the funds to you. You have a tracking number and you have the seller saying they received the item back so don't worry, you'll get your refund. I know it's frustrating not being able to contact anyone especially when it comes to our hard earned money! It's the weekend so perhaps people aren't monitoring customer service. I do know that Posh was having issues with electronic deposits into accounts because I received an email (generic) saying so and that my funds wouldn't be despoiled until the 24th or 25th. If you haven't heard back from them in a few more days and haven't received a refund, contact your credit card company. I'm really sorry you're having such a awful experience. I hope you don't let this experience ruin Posh for you. Most sellers are honest and would take extra measures to make sure you're happy and help you get your refund back. Give it a couple of more days and see if the refund goes back into your account. Aloha from Hawaii 💕🌸
Mar 22Reply
owens1111
owens1111 Yes, that is correct, the seller did receive the item. I did not receive a return label with my purchase. I kept everything and I went back through it but could not find one. I did send a picture of the shipping receipt. Hopefully I will hear something soon. Thank you very much for taking the time to help answer my questions. I will give it a few days and check back. Sincerely, Terri 😊
Mar 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Hi Terri, you wouldn't receive a return label with your purchase. I think I understand a little bit more of your situation. When you purchase something and receive something that wasn't as described or perhaps the seller mistakenly sent you the wrong item, you need to go to "My Purchases" and on the bottom there will be "inquiry/report a problem". Once you click on that, there will be different problems to report like "item not as described" etc. Once you click on what you're reporting, Posh will ask you to send proof to them & then they'll send you a return label. Did you already accept the package, meaning did you click ok accept thru the app releasing the funds to the seller? You have 4 days after USPS delivery confirmation to accept and release the funds to the seller. If after 4 days you don't, Posh will automatically release the funds to the seller. When did you receive the item? I need you to go to your transaction with the seller and report a problem. Go to "My Purchases" and report the problem there. I'm guessing you didn't do that and that's why the seller is saying your refund might be delayed because your return wasn't through Posh. I believe you can still report a problem even after the 4 day window. Let me know how things turn out for you. Aloha, Emy

nbhd_closet @nami001 im new here and just was wondering what u thought about holding items. I have had a few people ask me to hold something for a week or 2 until they get the money to purchase and im just not sure how to respond. Thanks much!!!
Mar 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @hschoville Hi Holly, thank you for reaching out to me. Personally, I don't like to do holds and especially holds that are up to a week or 2. When I first started I would put things on hold for buyers but 9 times out of 10 they never came back. Not all buyers are the same but for that reason I don't put things on hold. If the item is available when they get "paid" in a couple of weeks and they really want it, then they will be back. You could always respond with a friendly, "I'd love to put it on hold for you for 24 hours, let me know if that works out for you and I'll put it on hold." If they're persistent, apologize and tell them that you have a 24 hour hold policy. If you don't want to put it on hold, just tell them "I'm sorry I have a no holds policy and hopefully this adorable item will be here when you're ready to purchase". It's entirely up to you but my advice is not to hold for more than 24 hours. Hope this helps and please reach out if you need help again. Aloha from Hawaii, Emy

Mar 24Reply
nami001
nami001 @oliviamedvedd Hi Olivia, I'll let @leliluv know. Our share group is based on the honor system, women coming together to support and help each other be successful. It's my understanding that the 2 days you signed up you didn't complete your shares. Most importantly for Monday's group you didn't share at all. Things happen, life happens and sometimes we aren't always able to complete our shares. In those situations, the right thing to do is let the group know you aren't able to complete your shares or you won't be sharing because your busy with cheer or you'll be sharing late and have the share group skip your closet. If you know you have cheer then you shouldn't sign up. When I know I'm going to be busy with work, I don't sign up even if there's a possibility I might be able to squeeze in shares. I don't want to inconvenience the group so I'll skip certain days. My point though is that when asked you said you just got out of cheer and you were going to share in 20 mins but you didn't. If you had no intention of sharing you should've said so. You signed up for a lot of days but as you said cheer takes over your life, which is a good thing. I don't think you're ready for a share group right now when you have so many activities. I don't want you to take it the wrong way, school and cheer are way more important than Posh and you should concentrate your energy on that for now until you get more settled you know? Your closet was shared over 500 times today, you should see it in your newsfeed and maybe if you want, you can go back and share the closets that shared for you as a show of good faith. If you ever need help or advice, come back and visit here 😄

elolzaa Hi! I was just wondering if u could tell me what it means to get picked by a host in a party and how to do it. Also how are you chosen to host a party? Also I'm really trying to clean out my closet and some of my items just aren't selling. Can u give me some tips? Thanks😊
Mar 24Reply
nami001
nami001 @juliexing Hi Julie, thank you for reaching out. Regarding host picks: Posh has 3 parties a day and the last party is hosted by fellow Poshers who go thru other Posher's closet and pick listings that fit their party theme. These listings are then showcased in the Host Pick showroom the evening of the party. Getting a host pick is truly an honor as only a select few are chosen. The main showroom of the party may have more than 200K listings whereas the host pick showroom will only have anywhere from 300 to a little more than 500 listings. So it's easier to shop. Host will only pick from closet that are Posh compliant and you're closet isn't. To know what you can/can't sell follow @official_forum. You'll find a lot of info to help your closet. Also read thru Guide to Poshmark for more info. As for hosting, you'll need to have a few successful sales under your belt, have at least 10 listings in your closet (with clear and thoughtful pictures), follow all Posh Rules and have been Posh for at least 3 months before they'll consider you. Also follow @pm_editor. Mainly read thru all the info in Guide to Posh & Posh Etiquette. I noticed you have listings up that are not for sale because you're either keeping it or gave it your sister. They're not for sale & if you do decide to put it back up for sale, the item has actually changed because now it's more used. Make sense? Take down the items your not suppose to sell, take clear pictures and write thoughtful descriptions and hosts might choose your closet for a host pick but as long as you're non compliant you won't get a host pick or host a party. Hope this helps. Reach out any time 💕
Mar 24Reply
nami001
nami001 @juliexing One more thing, sorry forgot to mention. Hosts also look at Posher's share count and you only have 2 shares since you started in January. When you share another Posher's listing, you're spreading some Posh love and the favor will be returned which is great because you're closet is getting more exposure and you just might gain more followers and potential buyers. Believe me sharing equals sales. My rule of thumb is a Posher's share count should be double their follower count. Of course it's completely up to you if you want to share other Posher's listings or not but with your share count sitting at 2 & followers at over 1000, it tells other Posher's you don't return shares and don't give shares either. Which most hosts will look at. Hope this helps and happy Poshing!

nami001 @aalichaw Hi Aaliyah & welcome to Posh. You have a cute closet & are off to a very good start. My advice is to share your listings to your followers and Posh parties often. When you share to Posh parties your closet is gaining exposure. Also share other Posher's listings and the favor will be returned which will give your closet even more exposure and gaining potential followers and buyers.
Mar 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @aalichaw Sorry I'm limited to 500 characters so please bear with me. Your closet is cute. To attract buyers post thoughtful and clear cover shots. I always like to style my covers becuz this gives a buyer a sense of how they can wear something. Know what you can/can't sell and be a Posh Rules Girl. For someone who's only just started 3 days ago, you're off to a great start. Love your closet. As for sales, give it some time. You need to promote your closet as much as possible.
Mar 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @aalichaw To promote your closet, sharing is the best way to gain exposure. The more you share your listings and other Posher's listing the more exposure you'll get. E.g. If I share your listings, your closet is reaching 30k plus people. So the more you share the more the favor will be returned. Follow people who have similar taste as you. If you need more help, please reach out any time ok? Aloha from Hawaii

nami001 @mlevene I'm Emy, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'd like to invite you to follow @official_forum where you'll find lots of info. mecina @NAMI001 Thank you! I will share more to my news feed. I try to share to parties . It will not go through. I make sure I follow the parties rules. It let me share to parties when I first started. Now for some reason it won't now and I dont know why. So I was a little discouraged. I read and read and I found nothing to assist me with that on Poshmark. I even went to a blog a fellow posher gave me to read up on for more info about Poshmark. .
Mar 30Reply
mecina
mecina @NAMI001 It gave me some good tips about Poshmark but nothing to assist with that particular issue. Can you help?
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina Hi Jemeka, this might be in 2 party's because of limited characters allowed ion the comments. Posh has 3 parties a day. The first 2 parties are specific items or perhaps designers and only those things can be shared to the party. For example it might be only handbags & wallets so only those things can be shared to a party. Or it might be Michael Kors & only items from MK can be shared. Again these are only the first 2 parties of the day. To be continued ⬇️
Mar 30Reply
mecina
mecina @NAMI001 ok I will try again. I will triple check the brands allowed even though I always double check he party rules as far as what's allowed and what's not allowed . Thanks again!
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina The last party of the day is hosted by regular Poshers and though there is a theme all of your listings can be shared to this party regardless if it doesn't fit the theme. The theme might be DATE NIGHT but everything in your closet can be shared. Why do you say your items can't be shared to a party? Is it all parties or just the first two? Are you trying to share during the times of the party?
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina Posh doesn't have any kind of software to block you from sharing so these are my thoughts: the first 2 parties, only certain items can be shared & you're not sharing the appropriate items so it's not uploading to the party. Since you can share anything to the last party & it's not going through, you might have it turned off. If sharing from your mobile, you can slide the button to share to parties or just followers.
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina How do you know you can't share to parties? If you're getting a message what does it say? If you're not seeing it in the showroom it's because there are literally hundreds of thousands of listings and you won't see it because others are posting to the party as well. Don't get discouraged. I really don't think you're being blocked from sharing to parties. Posh doesn't have that capability.
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina They can only stop you from sharing to a party but category (wallets for example) or designer, but again that's for the only first 2 parties. Don't get discouraged. I know you've reached out before & you're doing great. Let me know more info so I can help you ok? This 500 character max is killing me lol. 💕
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina Hi again, was just going thru your closet. Your title should be more descriptive. Like instead of just boot. Write knee length black boot (leather or faux leather) with side zipper etc. Give more description in the description area. Like size, measurements, flaws. Anything you'd want to know when buying something you can't see in person. Read some of my titles & descriptions for a little inspiration.
Mar 30Reply
mecina
mecina I know right, lol! Well when I was sharing to a party before it would say item or listing shared. One of them. Now it says listing failed to share try again. When i try again it again says the same thing. I tried it over a period of days. That's what made me doubke check the brand to make sure I wasn't sharing something that wasnt allowed
Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina (last I promise lol) also make sure you're filling out all required categories before listing, like: item category, designer, size etc. it seems your items have very little specifics. This also might be hindering your ability to share since the computer doesn't recognize where it needs to go. Last party shouldn't be a problem though. Hope this helps & reach out any time. 💕

Mar 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mecina Hmm that's strange. It's unlikely Posh is blocking you from sharing to a party. If you violated Policy they would close your closet. Do you have the latest version of the app? Have you tried sharing from the computer instead of mobile? Try that, if it uploads, it's your app. Uninstall app & reinstall or update. If still having problems, contact support. nami001 @owens1111 Hi Terri, I'm sorry your experience with Posh isn't such a good one. Did you report a problem through the app like I mentioned previously? Have you been in contact with the seller and if so, what has she said about the return & refund? As I mentioned before Posh doesn't send return labels w/purchases & becuz you sent it back w/o going thru Posh this is why the seller said your refund would be delayed. Continued ⬇️
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 Yes I have been in contact with the seller and she received the item approximately 2-3 weeks ago. I followed all the steps as instructed but have not yet had a response! 😩
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Once you report a problem thru your purchase transaction Posh would've generated a return label. This way they can track your return & once they know the seller received it, they would've refunded you. Since you sent it back w/o going thru Posh they can't track it. Nevertheless the seller should in good faith refund you after she received her item back. I hope you don't let 1 bad experience ruin your time on Posh. There are a lot of amazing Ppl here 💕

nami001 @owens1111 Hmm, that's strange as to why Posh won't respond when you reported a problem thru the transaction on the app. I guess at this point, the only other way to go is to contact your cc company. It upsets me that the seller doesn't refund you when she has her item back. You would think in good faith she would. Contact the seller and tell her your contacting your cc co & give her a little nudge
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Tell her, it's actually fraud since she's received the item back & hasn't refunded your money. Tell her your filing a report with your cc company & see what she does. I'm sorry you're having such a terrible experience. Not all sellers are like the one you had. Hope it works out for you 💕
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 I will do that now. Thank you!
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 If you didn't report a problem within 4 days of receiving the item, Posh would've automatically released payment to the seller. Buyers have 4 days once they've received the item to "accept" the item. Once they accept it, funds are released to the seller. If a buyer doesn't accept it or report a problem, funds are released to seller automatically. So she received her funds. Put her on blast & tell her you know she has the money & you want it back & will be reporting it to cc co.
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 I did report it within 4 days and Posh approved my refund.
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 I never accepted the item.
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 I sent her a message and told her that at this point I have no choice but to contact my cc company and report fraud and dispute the charge. She hasn't responded yet!
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 What do you mean by " Put her on blast" ?
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @patiencemarlena Hi there, welcome to Posh. First I'd like to invite you to follow @official_forum for helpful tips on your closet. The best way to gain sales is to share your items frequently and share other Posher's listings as often. By sharing other's listings, they'll return the favor which will expose your closet to more ppl. Pls read through the above comments as I'm limited to characters now. I've explained about sharing ⬆️ and how it helps your closet. It'll get better.
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 It sounds as if she's dragging her feet and not helping you or even trying to. When I say put her on blast, I mean tell her at this point you have no other choice but to contact your cc co & report this. Once your cc co gets involved of course posh is going to be notified and this will put her on the radar. She should in good faith refunded you since she js her item back. Terrible 😡
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 Ok 😉 got ya! I did exactly that. I am going to give her a chance to respond and then make my decision based on her reply! 😡
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 Thanks again for all of your help, I truly appreciate your kindness.
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Oh, if Posh approved your refund turn there is no need to contact the seller. My last contact w/you I was under the impression you sent the item back without going thru Posh and that you didn't report it thru Posh thus delaying a possible refund. Anyway, since Posh is involved, have you checked your cc statement? Check your balance here to, you just might have a credit. You should get a refund soon since they're involved. If you don't contact cc co. 💕
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 You're very welcome, reach out any time & don't let this 1 bad experience ruin it for you. Most sellers are honest & would help you. I'm sorry I have to keep sending msgs in parts, it's annoying i know but posh only lets us send a max of 500 characters now grrr. Have a happy day & keep in touch ok?
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 Yes they did approve my refund. I will check again to see if a refund has been applied. They always notify of any activity such as refunds, balances, etc. :)
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Oh ok, that's a relief, you should get your refund soon then. I thought Posh wasn't involved at all, now that I know they are, you'll get your money back so don't worry. But do check your cc statement. It'll work out so don't worry 💕
Apr 01Reply
owens1111
owens1111 I checked my cc and did not see a refund. I will give it a little while longer. 😊

nami001 @tonigurl84 Hi Toni! Yesss! You're awesome and your closet looks awesome! Now that your Posh compliant, be aware of people who ask you to take a transaction off of Posh, it's against Posh rules. Also Posh doesn't support trades as you won't be protected if something goes wrong. As long as your a Posh Rule's Girl, host love that especially newer closets and are more inclined to give HPs to you. Good job and Happy Poshing!

jesstb @nami001 👀 i just wanted to let you know i have been weirdly lurking in your closet today over and over again. I dont even know why i keep ending up here then im going to share and get distracted by an item or picture. I guess your cover shots are hypnotizing. Lol. Just thought you should know it looks more and more amazing each day. 💖💖💖

shiawase87
shiawase87 Question for you ladies: How long did it take until you made your first sale? I'm getting discouraged. I'm getting likes, shares, followers, and questions, but no actual sales. I'm bummed. Yes, it's only been a week but I don't know... I'm an anxious, eager one, lol.
Apr 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @shiawase87 Hi Kaoshoua, first I like your ID! Welcome to Posh & don't get discouraged. It took me a couple of weeks before I made my first sale. You should be sharing your closet as much as possible. If you scroll up thru messages here, you'll see where I talk about the importance of sharing. Posh has limited comments so I can't type everything. It's imperative that you share your closet & others as well.
Apr 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @shiawase87 The more you share other's closet the more exposure you'll get because they'll return the favor. Don't ask potential buyers by asking if they want something just because they liked it. I found that if I just answered questions and not ask if they want it, they'll most likely come back at a later date. Your closet is already priced low but if you drop prices, ppl who liked it will be notified
Apr 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @shiawase87 You might want to price your items at a price that gives you some wiggle room. Follow people who have similar tastes as you but the most important thing is sharing your closet several times a day if possible. Even more importantly sharing other Posher's listings is what will drive followers & buyers to your closet. Hope this helps! Happy Poshing!

vball_kennedy
vball_kennedy How do u get so many followers 😮👌❤️
Apr 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @vball_kennedy Hi Kennedy, the best way to get followers is to share other Posher's listings a lot. They in return will share your listings which will drive traffic to your closet leading to more followers and potential buyers. Share your listings to your followers so it shows up in their newsfeed. If you scroll up, I explain the importance of sharing. Posh has limited responses to 500 characters so pls scroll up.
Apr 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @vball_kennedy Your closet isn't compliant with Posh rules so Posher's who are aware of the rules probably won't follow you or share your listings. I wasn't sure if your first listing was a child's but I shared anyway. To know what you can and cannot sell read my pics posted in this listing & read Guide to Poshmark in the setting area. Basically you can only sell women's fashion, so no children or men's stuff.
Apr 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @vball_kennedy Also no lotions or liquids. Basically only things pertaining to women's fashion is allowed. Most people who are just starting out aren't aware of this. I think once you remove your noncompliant items, you'll see your followers begin to grow. Once that happens share listings a lot. Once you're closet is compliant I'd be more than happy to tag you with follow games
Apr 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @vball_kennedy This 500 max character is killing me lol. Anyway, make sure to read up on Posh & follow @official_forum where you'll find helpful tips for your closet. Please feel free to reach out to me again. Happy Poshing 💕

Apr 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @owens1111 Hi Terri, sorry, I'm only seeing your msg now. Wow, have you heard anything back from Posh? Do you have a refund here in the app? I wish I knew what you could do. I'm guessing since you sent it back b4 Posh got involved it's causing a delay. So sorry this happened to you 😫.
Apr 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @dba28 Good morning Deb! I know that one share group is super long lol. If a name (closet) pops up in your newsfeed it just means that you're following them. You can check to see if they're following you by clicking on their followers to see if your closet name is there. But that's limited to the most recent followers (continued )
Apr 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @dba28 For example, you could click on my followers & not see your name even though I'm following you bcuz it's limited to the most recent activity. I think it's limited to the recent 1000 new followers, not sure on the number but it's something like that. Hope this helps. Have a fab day. I'll be sharing later. It's 930am here in Hawaii and I have the day off! Yay! Aloha, Emy 🌸

niksthekicks
niksthekicks @nami001 Wow, thank you so much for all the shares, it is much appreciated!! I'm still new to Posh, made my first sale yesterday... working on adding more listings! Cheers 😊
Apr 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @niksthekicks Yay congrats on your sales & welcome to Posh. I was looking over your closet earlier & you should push the sold items to the bottom, to do that just share to your followers. If you look at my closet you'll see my sold items at the bottom, this helps keep your closet organized. I noticed you aren't sharing your closet enough. You should share at least a few times a day to your followers and to Posh parties. (continued)
Apr 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @niksthekicks If you scroll up in this thread, I explain the importance of sharing so plz read it when you can. I'm limited to 500 characters now or else I'd explain lol. Share other Posher's listings as often as possible. Ppl don't think it works but it does m. By sharing other's listing, they usually return the favor and share back. This is exposing your closet to possible followers and potential buyers. Example, I shared your closet to 41k ppl. (Continued)
Apr 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @niksthekicks My shares will go across my followers newsfeed & they just might see something they like. I think you need to share more. The more you share your closet & others you'll be picking up followers. need to share more. I officially started last Oct. sorry for the unsolicited advice but I love it when ppl succeed. Please reach out any time even if it's to just chat. Aloha 💕
Apr 07Reply
niksthekicks
niksthekicks @nami001 Oh, I will always take advice! I thought it would've been too annoying/obnoxious to share my closet but I now get why that's important. Very helpful, thanks again!
Apr 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @niksthekicks You're welcome! When people share your closet, remember to share the Posh love back People also follow other closets based on their share count. If you're a sharer, you're most likely going to pick up followers. My own person rule of thumb is that a share count should be double of the follower account. Just my opinion. Have a happy evening!

maethecat1 Hi there! Looking forward to my camp bag,,, I have a posh question. If I am looking for something specific, is there a way that I can find which poshers are selling it? (Actually a boot cut pair of NWT jeans ... Size 14 short...thank you!

goldrose48 @nami001 Hi Emy! Just stopping by to say hi and see how you're doing! 😀
Apr 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Good morning! In the "shop" tab, type what your looking for. Then on the top of the page, you'll see "filters" where you can select your specifics, so for e.g. size, NWT, designer etc. Just swipe the top of your screen & you'll see the filters. Gotta run but wanted to answer quickly. Will check in later with you. Have a happy day !

nami001 @maethecat1 Hi there! Sorry I had to run earlier. My phone broke and I was giving it to the tech guy to take a look right when I answered you haha. Did it work? I realized later that you might not be using the app. From the computer you can also narrow it down by clicking on specifics that will be on the top, like category, nwt etc. I hope this helps. Have a great day. Hopefully you'll get your bag soon. I'm excited for you, lol. Yes, I'm a dork. Alooooha!
Apr 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hi again Diane, told you I'm a dork! I just searched for "Boot Cut Jeans Size 14" and a whole bunch of listings came up. Then on the top I clicked on "condition" and selected "new with tag" and a whole bunch of listings came up. I was going to tag you on some listings but not sure which brand you want. I did this through the computer. Hope this helps and I promise, I'l stop blowing up your newsfeed now, lol. Have a fantastic day!

jteach23 I need help. I can't sell a dress. Ughhhhh I give up.
Apr 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @jteach23 Don't give up PFF! It's tax season & people are probably nervous about spending until they file taxes. You can lower prices to your bottom line & ppl still aren't going to bite. I say wait till around payday which is usually the 15th & 30th or on Fridays then drop prices but it is tax season so I think sales are slow. Hang in there and don't give up.
Apr 13Reply
nami001
nami001 @jteach23 If you're going to drop prices, drop it in the evening when most people are most likely to be around. You know it took me 6 months to sell my first dress. Hang in there & I bet after tax season sales will pick up. Thinking of you PFF 💕

goldrose48 @nami001 Hope you're doing well! Hadn't heard from you in awhile but I'm guessing you're super busy! It's been a little nerve wracking around here (my grandpa was in the hospital) but things are ok now hopefully. Don't worry about sharing back if you're swamped! Have a good one! 😀

nami001 @goldrose48 Hi Jen, I'm sorry I haven't been in contact lately. I'm going through some trying times right & only jump on Posh to do the share group I signed up for or send out party notifications as I get them. I just need some time to sort things out. Life, what can I say lol. Hope you're doing well. Thank you for the shares & checking up on me 😘
Apr 13Reply

nami001 @goldrose48 I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa. I know it must be difficult. Grandpas are like our pillars you know? I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers and thoughts. Big hugs to you 😘💕
Apr 13Reply
goldrose48
goldrose48 @nami001 No worries! I hadn't seen your party alerts pop up in awhile so wasn't sure if things were ok. I'm really sorry you're going through tough times. Take care of you first! Let me know if you'd ever like to talk. Thanks for prayers for grandpa. My grandparents pretty much raised me so yes he's definitely one of my pillars. Don't worry about sending me party tags or sharing back. Get yourself back to happy Emy first! 😀
Apr 13Reply
nami001
nami001 @goldrose48 Thank you Jen, you're very sweet. I haven't been getting little party notices lately but when I do I send them. Gotta talk to my "sources" and see what's up lol. Have a great week 💕
Apr 13Reply
goldrose48
goldrose48 @nami001 Don't worry about the party notices! The nice thing about being a newbie is that all closets are new to me so I sometimes run across party listings by accident while looking for new closets to follow! I'll tag you if I find any (if you haven't been tagged already). My way of saying thanks for all the party notices you've sent me (although I can't ever truly thank you enough for all the help you've given me). Stay strong and take care of yourself first! 😀
Apr 13Reply
nami001
nami001 @goldrose48 Thank you Jen, you have such a stinking adorable closet it's always a pleasure to support your closet and tag you w/party notices. Thank you too for tagging me, I really appreciate since I sometimes miss them in the newsfeed and it reminds me to go congratulate them. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Big hugs !

kianalv
kianalv How do trades work?
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv Hi Kiana, Posh advises against trading because if something goes wrong w/the transaction, Posh can't help you. If you trade, you'll lose the layer of protection that Posh has in place for the seller & buyer. That being said, of course it's up to you if you want to trade. Since it's not supported by Posh, there are no guidelines to trading. You'd have to work out the details w/whoever you're trading with. Thank you for reaching out to me. Aloha
Apr 15Reply
kianalv
kianalv Oh I see thanks for letting me know. I am new to posh but I always see people comment "trade?" On different posts. So I didn't know if that was another feature of posh that I didn't know about. Lol thanks. Aloha? Are you from Hawaii? I was born on Oahu :) half my family still lives there!
Apr 15Reply
kianalv
kianalv Also what does HP mean??
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv You're so welcome and welcome to Posh! You are off to a really good start with a cute closet and thoughtful cover shots. You're cover shots are what are going to draw a buyer to click on your listings so good job. Lots of people will ask you to trade especially when you have a cute closet. HP means Host Pick. Posh has 3 parties a day with the last party being hosted by fellow Poshers. The hosts search closets that are compliant with Posh rules…continued
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv and chose an item from that closet to showcase in the "Host Pick" showroom. The HP showroom will have anywhere from 300 - 500 listings where the main showroom will have 200K plus. Buyers shop the HP showroom because of the limited listings and becuz they were specially chosen to be showcased. To be considered though you have to follow all Posh rules. Know what you can and can't sell. I'd also advised you to share your listings and other Posher's listings…cont
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv as much as possible to gain more exposure for your closet. Host like to see closets that have a high share count. This lets them know that you are interacting with the Posh community. So share and the favor will be returned. If you share a closet that has 30K followers and they share your listings, you're closet was exposed to 30K people. Make sense? Oh and btw, you can't sell bath suits unless they're new with tags. You might want to take down that listing…cont
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv THis 500 character limit is killing me here, lol. Anyway, yes, I'm from Hawaii and I live on Oahu. That's so random that you're from Oahu and have family still living here. Where do you live now? If you ever need help, please feel free to tag me at any time. To tag someone makes sure to put the @ mark in front of their ID or else they won't get the message unless you're messaging them on their listing. Have a great day and welcome to Posh! Aloha, Emy
Apr 15Reply

kianalv THANK YOU!! So helpful!!! I appreciate you telling me that too. I deleted that listing! Oops haha. Bay Area :)
Apr 15Reply
kianalv
kianalv You are so nice too btw!! Thank you for being so nice and helpful!!
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv You're so welcome. Now that your closet is Posh compliant. If you like I can include you in my party tags. When I tag you with a party notice, you'll go to the listing and congratulate the host on their upcoming party. They'll most likely check out your closet and since you're a new, most hosts would consider your closet for HPs. I can't guarantee that but there a bigger chance as long as your closet is Posh compliant..cont
Apr 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv Know what you can and can't sell. No transactions off of Posh, no trading. You could make a listing like I have that says you follow Posh rules. Hosts will see this and be more assured you're a Posh Rules Girl. Basically, you can only sell women's fashion. Undergarments and bathing suits must be new with tags. Let me know if you want to be included on my party tags and if you do, we'll go from there, ok? P.S. I live in Kapolei
Apr 15Reply
kianalv
kianalv Okay sure! So you will tag me in a persons profile or somewhere else?
Apr 16Reply
kianalv
kianalv What a small world huh? That's crazy! I love finding out when ppl are from Hawaii. It's such a pretty places. Cali beaches are not the same :(
Apr 16Reply
kianalv
kianalv I would love to be apart of your party tags!! Thank you!!
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv I will tag you with upcoming party listings that an upcoming host has posted in their closet. You'll go to the listing and congratulate the host on hosting a party. Some ppl ask for HPs but personally, I think that's tacky. You're already on their listing when you congratulate them so they have easy access to your closet. They just have to click on your ID. I'll tag you with a couple that I've already congratulated and introduce you as a new closet.
Apr 16Reply
kianalv
kianalv Thank you so much!!! I am excited :)
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv Just click on the listing and congratulate the host, like the listing and then share to your followers. Also share a few of the host's listings to your followers. It's all about spreading the Posh love. The reason I say to like the listing is because whenever the host updates the listing, you'll see it in your news feed. When you see it in your newsfeed, you're going to share blast it about 10x. This lets the host know you're supporting her party..cont
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv The other reason I say to "like" the listing is because when you start getting party notices, you'll forget which hosts you've already congratulated. If you get tagged again for the same party and you see that you've already congratulated her & you don't need to congratulate her again. Also, make sure to tag me to let me know you're getting the tags. So just say something like thank you @nami001 for the party notice. Ok going to tag you now
Apr 16Reply
kianalv
kianalv Okay I think I was able to do it. Did I do that correctly? Thanks for all the help and being patient lol
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv Just tagged you with an upcoming party. Please go to the listing and congratulate, share the listing and a few of the host's listings. Also tag me so I know you got it. Thanks and you're very welcome. You'll find most of the women on here are amazing and helpful. We all want you to succeed and will help you do so. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me lol.
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv Good job! Did you share the party notice to your followers and did you share a few of the host's listings? I'm going to tag you with more party notices now. Just do the same thing.
Apr 16Reply
kianalv
kianalv Oops I forgot to do that. I will go back. Thanks haha
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv Ok, so that's all the party notices I have. From now on, I'll include you in my party tags. Make sure to keep your closet Posh compliant ok? Remember to share a lot but only share from closets that are following Posh rules, so no liquids or lotions, used make-up, kids & men's clothing etc. If you ever need any thing, I'm just a tag away, ok? if you get a HP, I better be the first to know hahaha! Hugs

Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv You're so welcome. As I mentioned I'm here to help you succeed 💕. A great way to gain followers, buyers and interact more w/the Posh community is to attend Posh parties that are hosted by Poshettes. Go to the HP showroom & just congratulate recipients and share their host pick. The more you do this, the more ppl will recognize your closet plus you'll gain more followers. There's a party right now for 2 hours...cont
Apr 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @kianalv share your listings to these parties and every opportunity you get to gain more exposure. Every time you share your listings, you're placing it at the top of the category pile so self share a lot plus others even more 💕

wecameasromansx
wecameasromansx Hi there, thanks for following me! I have a question about selling on here, do you have to have a credit card in order to sell? I haven't sold anything yet, so I'm not sure! ☺🌸🌺 I know you need a credit card to buy items.
Apr 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @wecameasromansx Hi Kimi, thank you for reaching out. You don't need a credit card to sell but I believe you need to have 1 on file just incase you need to pay extra for shipping. Your account is already set up and it looks like you're all set to start selling. Just start taking some awesome cover shots and start listing. Oh & btw, trading isn't allowed on Posh. Only because you aren't protected if the other party scams you. If you need anything, you know where to find me. Happy Poshing 💕
Apr 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @wecameasromansx Once you start selling and have a balance, your credit card won't be charged when you buy something here. It's first taken out of your available balance & if you don't have enough, your cc will be charged. That's the best part of Posh! Make some $$ and buy something cute for yourself with the balance. If you have any questions or need help, just tag me. Have a fabulous day. Aloha!

Apr 22Reply
thriftpretty
thriftpretty Hello PFF :-) , quick question. I got a 3 star rating on a sale for a pair of pants because the buyer stated they weren't listed as capris. In the listing I described them as cropped pants, maybe she just didn't see that. So my question is what's the thing to do here, do I comment back or just leave it alone. Thank you!
Apr 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @thriftpretty Hi PFF! I'm sorry that happened to you. Is it the linen cropped pants? I would reach out to her & tell her you're sorry she's not happy w/her purchase. Tell her you strive for 5 star service as each buyer is important to you. Ask her what you could've done to make it more clear that you were selling cropped pants and not capris as she thought. Say it in a gentle way though. Clearly she didn't read the description and that's not your fault...cont
Apr 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @thriftpretty If she doesn't respond or change her rating, I would contact Posh and ask for the rating to be removed. If she stated the pants weren't Capris in her rating then clearly she didn't read the listing and maybe Posh will rule in your favor. Clearly she messed up here and not you. You could also tell her that the pants were listed as cropped and not capris. Let me know how it turns out but definitely reach out to her. Def block her after a few days and if she doesn't respond. Hugs
Apr 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @thriftpretty Reach out to her on the listing she bought so she can re-read the description where it says cropped. Is she a seller too or just a buyer?
Apr 23Reply
thriftpretty
thriftpretty Thanks for all of your advice. She's just a buyer.
Apr 23Reply
thriftpretty
thriftpretty And yes its the linen pants, the only other thing I could have done is given the length measurement in the listing, but then again she didn't ask for it.
Apr 23Reply
thriftpretty
thriftpretty The way she worded her review sounds like she just thought they were full length pants
Apr 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @thriftpretty The good thing is your ratings aren't public but I know it still stings especially when it's not your fault. Don't let this get you down PFF! This won't affect your account with Posh & reach out to Posh. Take a snap shot of what she said incase she changes it to something different. Send that snapshot along with your description to Posh and ask them to remove it. Keep contacting them, make sure they know she didn't read the description & you shouldn't be penalized.
Apr 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @thriftpretty Well I read the description and it says cropped, everyone knows what cropped is. I'm thinking she didn't read it and on top of that she should've asked questions. Either way she worded her review that wasn't what you described. Don't let it get you down ok? Block her too after a few days.

nami001 @mrk2015 Hi Maria, thank you for reaching out to me. Go to Edit Profile on the top of the screen. Once you click there, you'll see City and Website info. mrhf2003 @nami001 I am going to bother you one more time if you don't mind. I think by now I have pretty much figured out what I need to be a "posher" ;-), just one thing... is there a way to delete from my likes those items that have sold? Thank you again!
Apr 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @mrk2015 Good morning from Hawaii Maria. To remove a listing from your likes, just "unlike" it by clicking on the like button. If you're on the computer, if the heart is red, click on it or you can open the listing and click on "like". This will "unlike it". You can ask me anything any time, that's why I'm here so please don't hesitate to ask ok? Have a great day. Aloha from Hawaii. 💕

anisa02
anisa02 Hi, I've had so many questions and not many answers so thanks for this! I'm kinda new just a few months, I've done pretty well and have good ratings, But I wanted to ask you if you could answer a question? I had a hoodie posted and it was purchased, and then in review because it said not as described, I post everything just as it is, 80% if not more is new or very gently used, so knowing the hoodie was just what was shown I emailed posh mark.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Telling them that it is not fair yes protect the buyer but what about the seller, I have it back and it's just as it was in pics, except looks like it was worn and wrinkled, I guess it's pretty much the buyer could find something they like better and return or cheaper? Idk but it's crazy that posh mark approved it lol it's not the money it's just how could they agree it wasn't as described?
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Wondering if you'd look at it and I'll post a pic of it now I got it back today, I really feel like it's wrong for ppl to get the item and no matter what posh mark agrees and sends back, am I crazy lol, I think it's unfair.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @mrk2015 Haha! I'm just now seeing your message. Believe me nothing is "duh" on Posh so don't ever hesitate to ask anything even if you might feel it's silly because it's not. I've been in a lot of jams before and without the guidance and help from veteran poshers, I'd still be lost, lol. One thing I like to do, is once a month, go through my likes and "unlike" ones that have sold or anything that I no longer like…continued
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @mrk2015 I'm kinda OCD in that way, lol. Also if you "unlike" an item and like it again it brings that item to the top of your likes. I didn't know this until I stumbled upon it one day. Hope you have a fab weekend and remember you can reach out to me anytime ok? <muah>
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 Hi Lisa, I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to get back to you. I had a really hectic day and am only now getting to sit down at my computer, lol. First welcome to Posh, you'll find that it can be a bit addicting. Second, since I'm limited to 500 characters, this while come to you in a several comments. I'm sorry you've had an unpleasant experience as a seller. When you received the low rating, did you reach out to the buyer and ask why she was unhappy with her purchase?
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 I went through your closet but couldn't tell which hoodie you were referring to. From my understanding, you sold an item, buyer wasn't happy, gave you a low rating, returned the hoodie to you, Posh approved the return, buyer is refunded but you suspect it was worn. Is this right? From what I understand about Posh's return policy is that the buyer has to show proof that the item wasn't as described by providing pictures. Do you know it the buyer did this?
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Hello, thanks for taking time to get back to me, that's very kind, But no I did not, as soon as I seen it I knew 100% nothing was different or wrong with the item, so I emailed posh mark and just as I figured they approved it, so I just left it alone, I was a bit upset cause it's clear that there was nothing wrong with it and if posh mark went ahead and agreed I just said forget it, it's just funny cause it's exactly as described, But I'm just letting it go, I don't see any point.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 It's just I can't believe posh mark would back it, again nothing tondo with the money, I know it's exactly what was shown and described, but it is what it is, just hard to see how they can just say hey don't want it and posh mark say ok sending back! She must have found something she liked better and just used that as an excuse, but guess that's how it works, I give 20% of my sales they should also consider the seller.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 When you received the low rating, did you reach out to the buyer to find out why she gave you a low rating? To protect yourself as a seller, my suggestion is to take pictures as if there is no description and write a description as if there were no pictures. Make sense? You are allowed 4 slots for pictures, maximize these slots. Use a free collage maker to get even more pics posted. I use BeFunky. This way your covered by the pics in your listing and the description.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 For example, if you have no pics of the back of the hoodie & buyer says there's a stain on the back that wasn't noted in the description nor are there any pictures, you have no way of proving that there wasn't a stain there because there is no pic of the back. Know what I mean? So always, take thoughtful pics and maximize them. Maximize your description with measurements, flaws etc. For flaws take close-ups. E.G. my light blue hollister hoodie.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 If the buyer did what? Wore it? Can't assume but the hoodie still looks exactly as I posted, that's what I don't understand what could have been wrong? I could take a photo now and there is no difference except it looks like it may have been tried on and the little bit wrinkled.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 No flaws no stains even after getting it back.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 For your closet, you should push all your sold items to the bottom of your closet. To do this, just share all the sold listings to your followers until it reaches the bottom and then share your active items. You have a lot of unsupported items in your closet so you should take them down before Posh flags your closets. To know what you can and can't sell, read Guide to Poshmark and follow @official_forum where there's info that will help grow your closet.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Yes I always wondered how to do that, and are there things I can't sell?
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 You can't sell any liquids because it's against the law to send it through the postal system. I know there are lots of people who are selling this and you probably weren't aware of it. If caught, you can be fined and when people sell items that can't be sent through the postal system they are putting Posh's commercial mailing license with USPS in jeopardy. Posh doesn't want to lose the $5 shipping for priority mail. My suggestion is to take all unsupported items down before Posh does.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Oh ok wow yes I will read it all in the morning lol well later now, but if you see the green hoodie with the black and colors whereby says pink, I can show you it now after getting it back no difference as far as I can see or a few other people that I've asked to take a look Dave I'll been kind of confused and see the same thing nothing!
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 You also can't sell used undergarments. All undergarments must be new with tags and the same thing for swimsuits. No electronics so the curling iron has to be taken down. No perfume, lotions - anything that is liquid. No used make up. If you've swatched it to show the color, it is considered used. At the top of this listing, 3rd picture, there are things listed that can/cannot be sold. I hope this helps, feel free to reach out any time, ok? Have a great weekend. Aloha from Hawaii, Emy
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 All undergarments are new I'd never lol, as for electronics, I thought that was iPad, iPods phones stuff like that.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Also make up has never been used it opened I post that on every post.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 Sorry, as I was posting my long message to you, I see you were writing to me but didn't see the messages until after I finished. I know it sucks that Posh sided with the buyer without asking you. On your original listing that sold, I would reach out to the buyer and ask her what she didn't like about the hoodie. Don't be confrontational but tell her that you're just starting out on Posh and low ratings hurt the seller and you would like to know how you can improve.
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Thank you so much I will do that.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 Even though it's not your fault, apologize. Some buyers just don't get it that low ratings hurt a seller. I'm assuming this person is a buyer and not a seller. Wait a few days and if she doesn't respond back, block her. Don't block her yet because you want to give her a chance to respond and also maybe have a change of heart and re-rate you. She did get her $$ back and she has been made whole where you now have to relist it, you know?
May 02Reply
anisa02
anisa02 Yes very true but she didn't leave any rating at all.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 As for anything electronic, the way I explain it to ppl, if it can be plugged into a wall or requires electricity it can't be sold. I didn't think your make-up was used or swatched, was just giving you the low down. I know it's eeww about used undergarments but believe me ppl sell it, lol. They even feel used swimsuits! I once saw a description that said there was a stain on the crotch…eww. Anyway, has to be new with tags. The red bra, take out the part about daughter trying on.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 If buyer didn't leave a rating, then there is no need to contact her. I thought she gave you a low rating. Block her from your closet. You don't need the headache. Ok, I'm going to check out your hoodie now. It's really up to you though if you want to contact her but since she didn't leave a rating, I would just block her...
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 Ok, so the hoodie looks to be in great condition so I don't know why Posh would refund her. I'm really sorry this happened to you. Don't let this one buyer define your experience on Posh. We all have come across a buyer like this. The only thing you can do is try and protect yourself with more info and pics. Sorry for the long messages. Please reach out at any time ok? Have a great weekend. Aloha, Emy

nami001 @babysum Hi Sumie, I'm Emy, welcome to Posh and thank you for reaching out to me. Don't get discouraged about sales, it'll come in time. It's awesome that you're sharing other's Posher's listings, yes this is important & most will return the favor. What's equally important is you self sharing your listings as much as possible. If you go through above comments I wrote the importance of self sharing, every time you share, you're bringing your listing to the top of the category pile..
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum ...If you don't share, your listing will keep getting pushed down every time some else shares their listing, make sense? I share my listings several times a day. I've heard some share every hour, lol. So share your own listings every chance you get. I met someone who shares her closet 1000 a day!....continued
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum ...Also my advice would be to take pictures as if there's no description & write a description as if there were no pictures. You're allowed 4 slots for pics so max this out. You can also download a free collage maker to give even more pics. Take cover shots that would attract a buyer to click on your listing. As for description, always give measurements. Take a peek on my listings for samples.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum ....Another thing is the title. Whatever you type in the title becomes a search engine. If your title says "chevron top" then when someone types in "chevron top" your listing will pop up but again if you're not self sharing it'll be buried at the bottom...cont
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum ...I tell people to treat the title as a gateway to your item. So instead of "chevron top", I would title it "cute floral sleeveless chevron top" so now if someone searches for a "floral top" your listing will show up. If they search "sleeveless top" your listing will show up. Hope this all makes sense. Take a peek at my listings and see how I word the title, description and how I utilize my picture space.
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum As for pricing, ppl who liked your item are notified of the price drop only when you drop it by 10%. I usually don't drop until there is a deal on shipping. Remember Posh takes 20%. I always post at a price that gives me a little wiggle room. Don't negotiate in your comments when you do and the buyer doesn't buy your item, a new buyer will come along & say they want that price when you're probably really not wanting to sell it at that price ...cont
May 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum Read all the above comments when you have time as others have asked questions that might be helpful. Welcome to Posh again & always feel free to reach out to me any time ok? May 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @anisa02 Hi Lisa, share all of your sold items first and then your active items. This will put your sold items at the bottom. You can make a SOLD BETOND HERE separator like I have in my closet. If you take a peek, you'll see all my sold items at the bottom. This keeps your closet looking organized and will attract more buyers. Hope this helps and reach out any time. No need to apologize. I'm here to help you <3

nami001 @gnrstreasures Hi there, thank you for reaching out to me. I'm so sorry to hear of your difficult past. I can relate (as a child and a teenager) so I know what you went through. I'm limited to 500 characters so my response will come in a few comments so please wait before commenting ok? So your concern is about getting host picks right? First, you're off to a very good start with 2 already under your belt for someone who just opened their closet a couple of months ago...
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures Some Ppl have been on here for several months & still haven't received a host pick. Please don't stress about not receiving more HPs, it'll come in time. I see that you share a lot and you have thoughtful cover shots & you follow Posh rules right? I saw your listing for no trades but you should include it takes say no off poshmark transactions. Since you have a lot of listings, hosts aren't going to read thru every comment to make sure you're not taking a transaction off of PM.
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures If you include this, hosts will be more confident in selecting an item from your closet. It's against Posh party rules to select a HP from noncompliant closets, I'm not saying yours is, just saying you have a lot of listings & hosts have to go thru everything. Make it easier for them by including No Transactions off of Posh. I have 1 in my closet. Also showcase the HPs you have now. I only saw 1, make it more visible. This will boost your confidence.
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures If you come across an upcoming party notice, always stop by and congratulate the host and share her party notice. If you're being tagged with party alerts, always thank you person who tagged you. This shows the upcoming host you're thoughtful plus it let's the person who tagged you know that you got the alert and have congratulated the host. It's really all about etiquette. I mean when someone does something for you, thank them right? So always do that.
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures Attend Posh parties when you can. Congratulate HP recipients and share their listings. Some are upcoming hosts & just might consider your closet. You need to interact w/the Posh community more than just sharing. The more parties you attend & congratulate people, the more they'll become familiar with your closet. Sharing is important but interacting is as well. Hope this makes sense.
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures There really is no sure way to get a host pick but like I mentioned you're off to a good start with 2 already under your belt and you just started a couple of months ago. Don't stress out about it. There are a ton of ppl who've been on here for several months & haven't received 1 yet. Be patient, interact more with the community and it'll come.
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures I noticed that you don't self share your listings very often. Self sharing your listings is just as important as sharing other's listing. Every time you share a listing it puts it on top of that category. When someone else shares the same category, your listing gets pushed further down so in order to keep it visible you need to share it. Make sense? Some people share their listings a couple of hundred times a day.
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures I know this has nothing to do with HPs but it'll help you bring in sales. Some of your items haven't been shared for a month so that item is pretty much not visible to potential buyers since it's buried under everyone else's listing. Make sense? Hope this info helps & really don't get stressed or depressed about not getting more HPs. It'll come in time. Have a fab weekend 💕
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures I would just continue and not start another closet. You want to build your business and reputation around 1 closet but that's just my opinion. Also you have a lot of listings right now, you might want to wait to list more stuff. You should push all your sold items to the bottom of your closet & kind of organize it into categories so it's easier for people to browse and shop. Hope this helps, reach out any time 💕
May 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @gnrstreasures I just got your party notice alert. Good job. Don't forget to thank the person who tagged you. In this case it was Le. This shows the host that you're thoughtful when you thank the person who tagged you. It also lets Le know that you appreciate her efforts in including you in her party tags plus she'll know that you received it.

mfschulte
mfschulte How do I know if the person who bought my item gets it?
May 11Reply
nami001
nami001 @mfschulte Hi Megan, click on MY SALES & look at the transaction. You'll see "shipped", if you see shipped then it's in route. You can click on this and see where the package is at. If you see "pending acceptance" then your buyer has received their package. They have 3 days to inspect the item and once they do, they "accept" that it was as described & Posh will release payment. You'll receive an email when this happens. Hope this helps and congratulations on your sales <3
May 11Reply
mfschulte
mfschulte Thanks for the help
May 11Reply

nami001
nami001 @madelyn_span Hi Madelyn! Welcome to Posh & thank you for reaching out to me. My reply will come in a couple of comments since Posh has limited 500 characters now. First know what you can/can't sell but I see you're off to a good start with no trades and offsite transactions. As long as you're a Posh Rule's Girl you'll pick up followers. In the above comments I've responded to how important sharing is, so please read that. The more you share the more exposure you'll get for your closet...
May 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @madelyn_span I always tell ppl to take pictures as if there is no description & write a description as if there's no pics. Include measurements and any flaws. Maximize your pictures by using free collage apps. Always take thoughtful cover shots without any clutter around. Buyers get turned off when they see a big pile of clothes in the back ground or a messy background. Try to interact with that Posh community as much as possible.

nami001 @madelyn_span Attend Posh parties that are hosted (last one of the day) and congratulate HP recipients. The more you do this, ppl will recognize your closet more & you'll gain more followers. Sharing other Posher's listings is just as important as self sharing your listings. I've explained it somewhere up there ⬆️ lol. You have a cute closet & are off to a good start. Follow other Posher's and share their listings and they'll return the favor

tklonon Hey girl I have a question.. Why am I not selling more? I have sold some stuff but not like I think I should be I run CRAZY savings sales and my prices are not high not to mention I have noticed pm is busier later in the day so I will go through and drop prices on items people have liked for discounted shipping then raise them back in the am when I wake up
May 12Reply
poppyjoe
poppyjoe Hi, I am new on this app and I was wondering if you could do more tanks with words on them?
May 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @tklonon Hi there, I went through your closet & you do have reasonable prices. Here are my thoughts. You're advertising that you sold items offsite by saying "sold on xxxx" which is against Posh rules. I would delete them. You also have noncompliant items so you should take those down. Swimsuits can only be sold with tags. That being said, please read all the comments above about the importance of sharing and self sharing....continued
May 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @tklonon Trades aren't supported by Posh simply becuz they can't help you if something goes wrong. When you drop your prices by 10% everyone who's liked your item is notified but you'll have to drop the price by the last historical price's 10%. So for example if you have something listed for $20 & drop it by 10% that's $18 so ppl are notified but in the AM you mark it back up right?
May 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @tklonon Then again in the PM you mark it back down right? Well the ppl you liked it will only be notified of the 1st price drop. If you want them to be notified you'll have to drop it by another 10% from the last lowest price. So you'd have to drop it 10% from the $18 since that was the lowest it was. Make sense? Sales come in spurts so be patient. Share your listings more often during pay periods. Everyone is in different time zones so it's really hard to say when the best time is.
May 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @tklonon hope this helps and if you need more help, feel free to reach out any time. Don't forget to take down those listings that say you sold them offsite and the noncompliant items as well. Happy Poshing 💕

nami001 @poppyjoe Hi Taryn, welcome to Posh! I'm not sure I understand your statement. Would you mind explaining it please? Do you mean you want tank tops with words on them?
May 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @tklonon Just saw your comment about your complicated pregnancy. Posh will not penalize you for canceling an order or having a shipment go missing. Things happen & it won't hurt your chances in hosting or SU status. What Posh looks for is closets that are compliant & that interact with the community. Don't forget to change your profile thing :)

hldub @nami001 I'm so new to this! How do I get more traffic to my page? I don't know how to get this started. Help me 💕
May 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @hldub Hi Hannah, welcome to Posh. Thank you for reaching out to me. The best way to get traffic to your closet is to share other Posher's listings often. I talk about the importance of sharing in some of the above comments so please read it for more detail. Every time you share a few Posher's listings, they will return the favor & share to their followers which will then go to their newsfeed. If one of their followers sees it and likes it,
May 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @hldubt hey'll mostly likely visit your closet. You have no shares yet so my suggestion is to share, share, shaw. Also self share your own listings several times a day. This helps to keep your listings on the top of the category that your listing is in. Think of it as a stack of magazines, every time someone lists something, your listing goes on the bottom so you want to recycle that and bring it to the top by self sharing.
May 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @hldub Most importantly, share other's listings and the favor will be returned. Hope this helps, Read the above comments as I also wrote a response about self sharing. Posh has limited 500 characters now so I can't write a whole bunch. If you need anything, please reach out again. Welcome to Posh and happy Poshing. Remember share, share, share! That's where my sales comes from :)

nami001 @poppyjoe Sorry I don't have what you're looking for in my closet but you could always search for what you're looking for. saldivar22 @nami001 hello, i just wanted to ask is there a way to share many listings from your closet at once, to a party or you have to do it one by one???
May 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @saldivar22 Hi Maria, unfortunately there is no way to share your closet at once. You'll have to share each listing one by one to parties or to your followers. Thank you for reaching out. Happy Poshing 💕
May 16Reply
saldivar22
saldivar22 @nami001 one more question, how do i delete my liked items that are already sold?
May 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @saldivar22 Hi Maria, just "unlike" the listing and it won't be in your likes anymore. You can also "unlike" and then "like" an item to put your favorites at the top of your likes. Example, if something you really like a lot is at the bottom of your likes, just unlike it & then like it again & it'll be at the top of your like list. Hope that makes sense. Happy weekend 💕

kayli_anderson2 Hey! I was just wondering how you got so many followers, Any advice??😊
May 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @kayli_anderson2 Hi there, the best way to gain more followers is share other Posher's listings a lot and they'll return the favor & share to their followers. Self share your listings several times a day to keep your listings on top of the categories. Also attend Posh parties especially the last one of the evening and interact with other Poshers by congratulating them on host picks...
May 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @kayli_anderson2 The more you share and the more you interact with the Posh community the more followers you'll pick up. When other Posher's share your listing your closet is being exposed to all of their followers so you want to share, share, share. Hope this helps and bookmark this listing so you can ask for advice any time. Aloha, Emy

May 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @kayli_anderson2 Self sharing is just as important as sharing others listing. If you were to click on one of your listings categories, you won't see it unless because it's been pushed down from other ppl sharing. You want to self share often to keep your listings visible on the top of the categories....
May 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @kayli_anderson2 I just went over your closet & you're not sharing your closet nearly as much as you should. Some of your items haven't been shared in a few days which just puts it at the bottom of the category. Potential buyers won't see it unless they're willing to scroll through multi listings. My suggestion to bring up shares is to share several times a day so that your listings stay somewhat near the top. Hope this helps and reach out any time. Aloha

I don't buy stuff unless I'm gonna wear for sure so I don't have much stuff to sell :( thanks for ur advice in advance :)
May 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @kanako Hi Kanako, thank you for reaching out to me. You should only post items your wiling to sell. If you want to showcase other items that you have, you could always use them as props. For example, if you're selling shoes, you could display the shoes with an outfit but make sure that the shoes are what stand out so buyers know it's the shoes that are for sale….continuned
May 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @kanako Think of your listings it as a display window, buyers will get a sense of what your style is when you use clothing or shoes as your props. Just make sure that what you're selling is what stands out the most. You're selling a lot of jewelry, you could maybe put it on top of a matching clothing but again zoom up close on the jewelry so ppl know that's what you're selling. Hope this makes sense

May 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario Hi Ramona, I don't see a sold banner on any of your listings so I'm assuming the buyer didn't purchase the item. When you sell an item, you'll see a "sold" banner on your listing and you'll receive notification in your newsfeed that the item sold. When that happens, check your e-mail. Posh will send you an email with the buyer's address. Just print it out. If you can't find the email with the address, you can print it out thru the app here....cont
May 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario Lots of times buyers will say" drop this to $10, I'll buy it right now!" In my experience they don't. Set limits to how low you're willing to go & keep in mind the 20% fee Posh takes. I don't negotiate in the comments. I always tell the buyer to submit an offer. This way if they say "$10, I'll buy it now", you have the option of accepting, declining or countering the offer. If they truly are willing to buy it then they will when the put it an offer and you accept. Make sense?
May 22Reply
ramonarosario
ramonarosario @nami001 thank u so much for your advice. You sure were right. Two customers trying to lower the price and when I agreed to 20 she didn't buy it. Now the other one is trying to negotiate 15 in the comments. I wrote to give an offer if interested. Maybe I should Hv said submit an offer. I'm trying to learn...... This is crazy wow!
May 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario You're welcome! When people make offer comments on the listing, I just tell them to feel free to submit an offer. If they're really interested they will. If they're just fishing, they won't. Don't accept an offer you don't feel comfortable with. I know you want to make a sale, but be patient. It took me a few weeks before I made my first sale. From my experience, serious buyers ask for about $5 to $10 off where fishers ask for a more than half off…..
May 22Reply
ramonarosario
ramonarosario @nami001 on $50. $5. Isn't a lot, but on a $20 you lose money.... No offers submitted yet. It seems like a lot of work for something that you lose money on. I guess I need to write somewhere that my prices are low and firm.
May 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario You can write it in your listings that your price is firm unless bundled and buyers will still lowball you. On my NWT Coach bag, a buyer submitted an $80 offer which of course I declined but then she commented why? Are you kidding? Btw on $50 it'll be $10 since Posh takes 20%. Price your items where you'll have a little wiggle room & don't give unless you're comfortable with selling at an offer price. Be patient and the sales will come.
May 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario You also might want to join a share group which will help with sales. Most of my sales are through share groups. I can introduce you to one that's easy and effective. You just share blast the first item 10x in everyone's closet who has signed up. As long as your closet is Posh compliant with no off site transactions, you'll be able to join. You'll have to share everyone first since you're new to the group.
May 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario Plus this is a good way to meet other Poshers, interact with the community. Let me know if you want to join a share group and I'll tag you with the listing where you'll have to get approval from the host first. Like I mentioned, it's a good way to get your items sold plus make new friends :)

You don't have to but it's always good to update your buyer. So happy you're enjoying the share group. They really are amazing group of women and are here to help you succeed. Keep joining share groups and you'll see sales start coming in. Congrats again!

ramonarosario @nami001 the sale was made on Saturday when post office was closed for the Memorial Day weekend. I'm wrapping the package now to send tomorrow. How do I get in touch with the buyer to send her this message.
May 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario Tag the buyer on the listing that she purchased. You can find out the closet name by clicking on "my sales" it'll have buyer's closet name there. When you contact them, apologize for the delay in sending them a message & them tell them you're sending the package to them tomorrow. Keeping good communication with your buyer gives them more of a personal experience. Some buyers don't respond but don't worry about that. As long as you're keeping them informed the better :)

nami001 @babysum Hi Sumie! Aww you're too sweet & thank you for the compliment. Here are my thoughts. Zara is a very popular brand & your price is reasonable. I'd buy it if I didn't live in Hawaii lol. Right now we're going into summer so people aren't looking for winter items. I'd say keep it at a price that's comfortable for you & just wait it out. If you're in a hurry to sell it than drop the price by 10% and everyone who liked it will be notified but if it was me,
May 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum I'd keep it at that price & wait it out. You can also update the cover shot, kinda of like refreshing a window display and keep it at the top of your closet and share blast it every day. Meaning sharing it multiple times a day. Like sharing it 10x at a time. Hope this helps 💕
May 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @babysum You're welcome! Self share it several time a day & share other Poshers listings too so that they'll return the favor. You might want to join a share group. The one I'm in now, we share blast the 1st item in the closet 10x for each person signed up. This has been effective in getting sales. If you want to join. Let me know. You'll have to commit to sharing each closet the day you sign up. Btw, I have jackets that have been up since Dec lol.

It seems to have a date code and from what I can tell all the markings, but I obviously don't want to post it until I'm sure of its authenticity. Thanks! No problem if you can't help, just figured I would ask! 😊

nami001
nami001 @loveericaaa Hi Erica, nowadays almost all replicas have date codes and vintage LVs don't have date codes so it's hard to determine by a date code if a LV would be authentic or not. A good source would require some investigative work on your part but there are websites that tell you how to read date codes and some easy steps to see if it's authentic or not. One way is to tell by the leather, if it's almost white or hasn't aged to that pretty brown it's probably fake…continued
May 31Reply
nami001
nami001 @loveericaaa For the date code, there should be 2 letters followed by 4 numbers. Also where it says Louis Vitton, the double TT's shouldn't be touching. You can also go to the LV manufacturing website and compare the purse or find websites that will tell you how to spot fakes. I don't know if you can take it to a LV store and ask them but that's an option…continued
May 31Reply
loveericaaa
loveericaaa @nami001 hmm. Yeah, I've been reading up on it. Maybe I can take it to an LV store and they'll verify for me? Anyway, thanks for your help! :]
May 31Reply
loveericaaa
loveericaaa @nami001 Oops! I guess you're still typing.. I'll wait. haha
May 31Reply
nami001
nami001 @loveericaaa You can also post pictures and ask for help in authenticating your purse. Make sure to post lots of pics, serial number, the inside tag, inside the purse, front, back, sides, bottoms, handles…every angle. Since you're limited to 4 pictures, use a free app collage to post as many pics as possible. Then ask for help from other Poshers. Hope this helps and good luck!
May 31Reply
loveericaaa
loveericaaa @nami001 Definitely helps! Thanks! :]
May 31Reply
nami001
nami001 @loveericaaa Lol, I'm not sure if the LV store will authenticate it for you or not. You might want to call them before trekking down there.:)

allyoop23
allyoop23 Hi! Just wondering how u handle other Poshers who want to advertise their listings or closet in your closet! I think this is rude and just plain tacky and un-Poshlike 😳
Jun 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @allyoop23 Hi PFF! Oh my, I really haven't had that problem but it is rude. I think I'd tell that person she's not being a Posh Rule's girl & tell her to read up on Posh Etiquette. I'd also advise her that her actions will quickly get her blocked from lots of closets & that her rudeness can certain get her closet put on notice by Posh. Then block her & tag a whole bunch of PFFs to warn them lol. Some where in here, someone was advertising their closet....continued
Jun 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @allyoop23 I told her it was against Posh rules & she just kind of blew me off. I sometimes see comments where a seller's tagging a possibly buyer with their listing saying that they saw the buyer was interested in the listing in any other seller's closet but they have it cheaper in their closet. I was floored! Some people are just rude & don't play by the rules but I think their career on here will be short lived lol. Happy Tuesday PFF 😘
Jun 02Reply
allyoop23
allyoop23 Thanks! @nami001 I thought there might be a way to report it. I havent listed any Posh Rules/Etiquette posts in my closet yet but it seems like the more followers I get, the more comments I get promoting their own closets or items & requests to use other sites or pay offline. Im thinking I could also make a post & tag any unPosh behaviors in the post and leave the listing free of that chat.
Jun 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @allyoop23 You can report them. If they're in your closet advertising off site transactions, I wouldn't confront them. Go to their closet and report them for off site transactions. I guarantee they are advertising it in their listings. A sure way to get Posh's attention is to write to them & include your listing. Maybe a screen shot of the convo. Report to them this person is advertising in several closets. Posh will put them on notice or maybe suspend their closet...continued
Jun 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @allyoop23 You'll need help from PFFs too so make sure to tag us. The more ppl who report that behavior the better. Posh is kinda slow but if several ppl report it they respond more quickly. You could make a Posh Etiquette listing but ppl will just skip over it lol. Make a help/chat & include the etiquette as well. I'm going to do that when this once gets full - include etiquette that is. Btw, every time I see your profile pic, it makes me smile. You're so stinking adorable 💫
Jun 02Reply
allyoop23
allyoop23 I just did that! 👍 😀 Screen shot and a note to Posh Support. Oh I have no time to be confronting people for silly arguments. Im sure Posh will take care of it This particular user doesn't have any listings 😕 And just about 10 followers Im guessing its a brand new account setup just to advertise her other selling sites code. Psshhh....not cool. FYI "ssupportmytroop" is her closet
Jun 02Reply
allyoop23
allyoop23 Oh I didnt tag our PFFs yet Good thinking! I should be a good friend and warn them! Aww thank you! You're so sweet! Glad to pass around smiles! 😀
Jun 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @allyoop23 Thanks for the heads up. I'll report as well. The reason I say to tag several PFFs is so that they can report them as well. The more ppl reporting it the quicker Posh will respond plus yea, you want to warn your PFFs. Make sure to block that person too. You don't want the headache. Thanks pff, will troll that closet & report 😁
Jun 02Reply
allyoop23
allyoop23 I spelled it wrong! Sorry - little phone screen lol It is "ssuuportmytroops" I tagged a bunch of our PFFs on another listing and blocked her! I wouldnt want her showing up in others closets either. Thanks for the info! Hope this helps!
Jun 02Reply
nami001
nami001 @allyoop23 I got it lol! I was typing all sorts of names and thought duh, go find it in the closet but then saw your message. I took a screen shot & will report it. Sorry this happens to you PFF.

nami001
nami001 @leliluv, Hi ya PFF, question, I thought if I unfollow you & follow you again, then your closet would be on my top list of people that I follow but it doesn't seem to be working. You're not on my top and I want to put you there…any ideas?
Jun 04Reply
leliluv
leliluv Hi Emy, I don't think it puts those closets on top, it just makes them show in your "following". You know how you can have 10K, 20K, etc you are following? They don't all show in the following list, I think only that last 100, or 200, or 500 you followed. So let's say you had followed me when you had 5k following, then you followed 5k other closets after, my name wouldn't show unless you unfollow and re-follow me :)
Jun 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @leliluv I thought that too so I unfollowed you and followed you again but you're not on my latest following list. I did it about 5 times but I can't move you to my latest following list. 😩
Jun 04Reply
leliluv
leliluv Mmmmm... so I don't know! LOL It's OK, you can unfollow and follow me back as many times as you'd like! :)
Jun 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @leliluv Nevermind! Duh! I thought your closet was ! Le and was looking at the top of my closet...when it was actually Le. I'm so OCD & wanted to have you on my visible list. Such a dork I know lol. I did it like 6 or 7 times now lol. Have a good night PFF 😘
Jun 04Reply
leliluv
leliluv @nami001 Hahaha you didn't imagine that, it was really ! Le before. I just removed that a while back, I was trying to see if it would change anything with the followers count. You too, have a great night!

Jun 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @blukat Hi Denise! I've been doing good, just a bit busy. How are you doing my PFF? Thank you for the invite. I have a lot of things going on right now & my family from Japan is about to visit so I won't be able to commit to sharing & I don't want to inconvenience anyone if I miss the time cut off time. Once things calm down & my family leaves, I'd love to join if that's ok. Thank you for thinking of me. Hope you have a lovely rest of the weekend. Aloha from Hawaii, 😘
Jun 07Reply
blukat
blukat That's good. I'm sure family lives to visit where u live. Remember with share group u can share late, early... Doesn't matter. 😊 Have a great visit.
Jun 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @blukat That's the bad thing about living in Hawaii, we are always having visitors. Friends, friends of friends, family, friends of family..ugh..the list goes on, lol. Thank you for letting me know I can share later or earlier. I always feel bad when I share during the evening Hawaii time because I'm 3 - 6 hours behind most people. Once my family leaves and I will definitely join your share group so please leave a spot for me, lol. Have a wonderful week!

myberkeley
myberkeley Hi, I actually searched for "posh questions" and your listing popped up😊 I have a really newbie type of question... on Posh's do's and don'ts it says not to use pre-paid boxes from the post office because they will be sent back to you... but I sent my 1st item in one and it was delivered fine. I did use the Posh shipping label and all that... Do you know what type of boxes Posh want us to send our items in? Thanks a lot in advance 😘✌🏻️💕
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley Hi Hannah! Welcome to Posh & thank you for reaching out. You can use any box as long as it's not Priority Flat Rate or Express. Did you send your first box in a flat rate one? If so, you got lucky that it went thru lol. You can get free priority boxes from the PO or you can order the boxes online & have them delivered to you. Super convenient and so easy. Just remember any box but not FLAT RATE PRIORITY...continued
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley If your box is over 5lbs, you'll have to request your a new label btw. If you ever need help, please feel free to reach out at any time. Bookmark this by liking it so you'll have easy access to it. I'm in Hawaii so if I don't answer right away it's because of the time difference. Welcome to Posh again. Aloha!
Jun 08Reply
myberkeley
myberkeley Wow thank you so much for the quick response and great info! I used one of the big mailing envelopes and it just says priority mail on it... I'm going to order some new supplies online, though- just to be sure 😄 It seems like my order was delivered alright this time... I've been watching the tracking number... But now I have a new problem: (continued...)
Jun 08Reply
myberkeley
myberkeley the tracking says my package was "delivered to an individual at *her address*" but she sent me a message saying that although it says it was delivered she didn't get it and she's nervous about it. Well, so am I!! I'm going to wait out the 4 days before I really freak out though😓 I've read so many stories about scamming on here that it's kind of hard not to be a little worried😔 Thank god for Posh Protect! Aloha sweet girl and thanks again for all of your help 😘🌻✌🏻️💕
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley Even though your package says "delivered" what does it say on your Posh transaction? Go to "My Sales" and you should see "pending acceptance" since you know it's been delivered. If it says "pending acceptance" then you're good and after 4 days Posh will automatically release funds to you. Tell me what does it says on your Posh transaction with the buyer? Did you send it in a Flat Rate Envelope or a post office standard envelope?
Jun 08Reply
myberkeley
myberkeley It says "pending acceptance" I sent in an envelope that says "priority mail" and "mailing envelope" on one side, and on the other side it says "priority mail" "priority mail, postage required". When I dropped it off at the P.O. they said it was good to go with the Posh shipping label on it and I have the receipt, plus I've been tracking it online. Everything seemed to be going perfectly... until the buyer sent me that message😣 I have to thank you once again, you are so sweet to help me😇👏🏻💝
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley As long as it says "pending acceptance" Posh will release your funds after 4 days whether your buyer accepts the package or not. The PO will not scan the package as delivered unless it was delivered. Wait the 4 days & funds will be released to you. If your buyer contacts you again, ask her to check with her neighbors, housemates or contact her local PO. At this point there really isn't anything you can do since tracking indicates it's been delivered. Hold on
Jun 08Reply
myberkeley
myberkeley Ok that's what I'm going to do! Thank you so very much 💕
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley I checked out your buyer, she just started in Jan. Nothing indicates she could be scamming you. Tell her to check with neighbors. Sometimes the PO will give it to a neighbor or maybe even a housemate. Or call her local post office or ask the mail carrier tomorrow if she sees them. It says delivered & you have pending acceptance. I'm sure it'll show up. The PO can't/won't mark a package as delivered if it wasn't. That's falsifying. Hope everything works out. Reach out any time ok? 😘
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley Lol, sorry Hannah, when I typed "hold on", I actually typed "hold on a sec while I go check out your buyer" but Posh limits the characters to 500 now so I had to cut it off. Didn't mean hold on for your funds 😋. You have pending acceptance so your funds will be released to you then. 😘
Jun 08Reply
myberkeley
myberkeley Yeah she doesn't seem like a scammer to me at all! I just asked her if maybe someone she lives with or even a neighbor could have accepted them on accident or something. I'm sure it'll all work out 😉
Jun 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @myberkeley See you're already ahead of me. Good job! Let me know how it works out for you ok? Have a awesome week 😉
Jun 08Reply
myberkeley
myberkeley I will 😄 And you too! You really are awesome for helping me with all this 😘

nami001 @retrobunnybee 😩Noooooo....I'm sad you're leaving Posh. You're one of the nicest persons I've met here. What is it you'll be doing? If you don't mind me asking. I wish you the best as you pursue your dreams and wish you nothing but success. I know whatever you do, you'll be very successful! If you do a sale to clear out your closet, tag me & I'll help spread the word. I'm bummed you're leaving 😖😩, but pursue your dreams and reach for the stars. xoxo

nami001 @jaekuma Hi PFF, moved the convo here since I didn't want to take up space on Deb's listing. To host a party, you'll need to have at least 25 listings, been on Posh for 3 months, have a compliant closet & interact with the Posh community (your shares will reflect that). Your cover shots should have good lighting & show personality. Your closet has all of the above except for maybe 3 months on Posh? ⬇️
Jun 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @jaekuma I forgot to check lol. You do have a lovely closet & I can see you hosting. Once you've been on Posh for 3 months, write to them & request to host. It'll take a couple of months for them to get to your name on their list, so write to them as soon as you've been on for 3 months. Write to them at hosting@poshmark.com (I believe that's the email). Good luck! I know you can totally do this & your closet is so stinking cute, you'll be hosting soon. Have a lovely day 😘
Jun 09Reply
jaekuma
jaekuma @nami001 Thank you for all the details and your kind words!! I just realized I've been on here for four months already. So I'll be sending them an email! Thanks again! Have a great evening. 😘💕
Jun 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @jaekuma oh yay!! Write to them now cuz you'll be put on a waiting list & it takes a couple of months for them to get to your name. You'll be a great host & of course I'm here to help you. I'm in Hawaii so my day is just starting, it's not quite 10am yet. Wish I could go from bed to the end of the day & skip all the work in between haha! 😘
Jun 09Reply
jaekuma
jaekuma @nami001 Thanks for your support! I just sent them an email and I received a automated reply. I can't wait to hear back from them! Oh right, I forgot you live in Hawaii!! Well, in this case, have a great day then! I know work can be quite exhausting. I'm currently taking a term off from the university but when I start again next month, it's gonna be a killer! I'm totally hooked to Poshmark so I'll have to squeeze some time to get on here often. Lol! 😂
Jun 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @jaekuma Yay! Posh will check out your closet & then put you on a waiting list. I'm sure you'll be hosting in about 2 to 3 months but you never know, you might get lucky and host before that! Make sure to check your e-mail diligently including junk mail…just in case. Good luck luv! When the time comes, I'l help you. Don't worry, no matter how busy you are, you'll find yourself on Posh at all hours. It's been 9 months since I started and I'm still hooked lol.
Jun 09Reply
jaekuma
jaekuma @nami001 Woo hoo, I can't wait! I'll definitely contact you when the time comes since it'll be my first party. I'll be on the lookout for any emails regarding this! Oh my, this is going to be a fun term!! Two intensive major courses plus Poshmark 24/7!! Haha. 😁 Hugs 💕💕💕

ramonarosario
ramonarosario @nami001 thanks for all the tags. Hope you are well. I met saundi through you and some other great ladies. Your listings are beautiful. I'm still working hard on mine. Sold a few. Something went wrong with one and I don't know what. It says in review.
Jun 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario Hi PFF, you're so welcome. If your transaction says it's in review then most likely the buyer is disputing it. I'm guessing it's the black/white dress. Check your e-mail, you might have an explanation there. To avoid claims, always take lots of pics, use free collage apps and write as much detail as possible. Note any flaws. If a tag says size 8, it might run big or small, that's why it's essential to include measurements. It's time consuming but it's worth it..continues
Jun 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario If you have measurements, a buyer can't dispute the fit because you've included it in your description. Write your description as if there were no pics & take pics as if there were no description All of your dress pics are essentially the same. You could use those slots for a different angle, like side view (left, right) and a back view. The buyer gets a better look at the dress & knows what they're buying..con
Jun 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario In this case, it's open for debate because you don't have a side view of back viewIf a buyer simply changes her mind, she can say there's a huge stain on the back & you can't dispute it because you don't have a pic of the back. Of course she'll have to provide proof that there's a stain. Or she can say that it's not a size 8 as indicated on the tag but if you have measurements, there is no way she can dispute that. Hope this helps..cont
Jun 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario Good luck and hope things work out in your favor. Let me know what happens ok? hugs! P.S. You can get free collage apps like BeFunky - one of my favorites!
Jun 10Reply
ramonarosario
ramonarosario @nami001 yes very helpful and now I'm making sure I alway write better descriptions and take more pictures. Yes it is the black and white dress. It doesn't stretch so it may not Have fit. What happens if she wins. I get the dress back and that's it? I just hope she does write a bad review. I just want the customer to be happy. Should I write to her and ask what happened?
Jun 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @ramonarosario She'll have to prove her case & submit pics. If she wins, Posh will send her a label to send it back to you. You'll have the chance to go over it, I believe. I wouldn't contact her since she didn't reach out to you first. Just wait & see. If she writes a bad review, you can respond to it in your comments. Yes, more pics & more detailed info makes it harder to submit a claim. Give it a few days & see what happens. Posh doesn't encourage returns so it might work in your favor. 💕

alyssahourglass @nami001 ~ Hi Emy! I've been shopping on Posh for few months & I just started listing today! My Posh Closet only has jeans right now, because I had 24 pairs to list, and I wanted them all together, haha. Next I'll add dresses, tops, shoes & bags. I stumbled across this post earlier & clicked like to save it and read it all tomorrow. I may tag you in the next few days with questions, if that's okay? Thanks for this post! XOXO Alyssa 💖
