I'm Emy. The things I sell on Posh are all in excellent condition & comes from my closet or my mom's (she's kinda hip). We both love handbags & shoes. Me more than her. I'm a true handbag fanatic & need to downsize. I'm very OCD about my handbags. They never touch the floor anywhere! They even have their own seat in my car. I'm always changing my handbags according to my outfit (it's all about accessorizing!) & when not in use they're stored in a dustcover & a protective bin. So OCD right? 😁

nami001 @miami_wife haha, don't know about that. I'm totally the opposite of her. She's way more hip than me. She likes to wear bold bright colors where I'm more into subdued colors. She's always trying to get me into pinks and reds...ugh. She's going to be 70 this year and will absolutely kill me for telling her age 😱 and it's a good thing she doesn't have Posh! She complains about her age and how she should dress like a granny, ugh. That's how Japanese moms are lol. Her and my dad surf every morning at the butt crack of dawn where I prefer to sleep in plus I don't like sharks or sea turtles lol. Have a beautiful night 💕

nami001 @myin2828 Aww thank you sweet PFF. I'm beyond OCD with my handbags. My bf and friends tease me all the time. I change my handbag and wallet every couple of days lol. It'll never touch the floor even at the house even though we don't wear shoes in the house. If I'm out and it starts to sprinkle, my handbag goes under my shirt haha, or I usually have a light sweater so I'll cover it with that. I can never understand how some women put their handbags on the floor at a restaurant or even worse on the floor in public bathrooms…ewww. I'm always getting teased about my OCD with handbags lol, but I can't help it. hehe

My parents are way more active than me, surfing, surfing some more, going to the gym. They do complain but not about health issues, it's more about the waves…surf..surf..ugh. nami001 @greenink My mom is pretty special. I grew up in Japan and it's the same thing. It's bad luck for your handbag to touch the ground not to mention it's unsanitary. In my culture we take off our shoes before entering the house because you don't want to bring the dirt into the house so even though my house is clean, I still won't put it on the ground. I'm so OCD. If it rains, my bag goes under my shirt, I don't care if I look dumb lol.

I'm w/you I don't put my purse on the floor either & definitely never in a bathroom. Yuck. It hardly rains here in S. Cali, but I hide my purse under my coat as well when it does. Even though it has been sprayed. They say you should spray them every few months (MK that is.) The Macy's on Maui told us they only get 4 of the same MK purses. I thought that was interesting. My relatives left yesterday evening and boy do they love to shop. Actually it was their fist time visiting the US so they wanted to see a lot of things. My days were jam packed. They bought a lot of brand name things because in Japan it's double the price. I of course can't afford Prada or Chanel so I just window shopped lo. But like you, I'm baffled by how people can put their purse down on floors of restaurants or public bathrooms... Especially wet public bathrooms. Like EWWW!! And never on the car floor either bc dirty shoes have rubbed all over it!

Like you I get the eew moments when I see ppl putting their purse on the bathroom floor! I even saw brand names. My LV would NEVER hit the floor. I once dropped it at a restaurant & nearly had a panic attack lol. I don't know why I won't put it in the floor even in the house haha. I'm a dork 💕

I'll use it for a day or two and then switch but not before putting it in a protective cover and then in a bin. It has a special place on my dresser. People think I'm crazy too lol. When I go to people's houses, I change my purse to a small crossbody so I don't have to set it down anywhere, lol. sharkie2014 OMG I have a shark steamer and do the all my floors every other day, I really don't like carpet cuz u know dead skin hair, my husband wanted it upstairs in bedrooms so as long as we replace it every 5 yrs or less I let him have it but I vacumn every day if not 2x we had his sister her 2 little girls n mom for a visit they stayed 3 full days I thought I was gonna lose it, I did nt want to show how bad my OCD cleaning thing was but I was miserable wanting to straighten stuff after everyone.

nami001 @sharkie2014 LOL! Yep, you're my twin! I have a shark steamer too! My bf wanted carpet in the bedroom so I let him have that plus in the smaller living room. The rest of the rooms are wood floors. I vacuum every other day plus steam mop. On the days I don't, I use the swifter duster on the wood floors. I have 2 shih tzus & thank goodness their breed doesn't shed. I hear you, I had relatives visiting from Japan and was going crazy! I tried really hard not to clean up after them too.

I do, I have to dust first (everything's going to fall on the floor anyway) then vacuum and then steam mop. I have more relatives visiting next month and I'm like..noooooooo…haha. When my cousins were here, I was always wiping down the shower tiles after they shower…of course I didn't let them know I was doing that. My bf thinks I'm too OCD…lol

I think she needs a "time out" lol I love how you handled it though, with grace and poise! Proud of you! My daughter is 22, and has Nf 1. She has a slight chiari malformation, two brain tumors and over 200 throughout her body as well as scoliosis. Pain meds are a way of life for her!😔 I'm so afraid when she reaches the "ceiling" the docs talk about and nothing else will work.

The commitment is just for the day you've signed up. If you're interested I can tag you on the share list conversation page. The host will have to approve your closet and once that's done, you can start sharing with us. Share groups are really fun and it's effective in getting your items sold. Lmk and I'll tag you, ok?

To get you started, I'll tag you with a share group that share blasts (10x) the 1st listing in every closet that has signed up. I'll tag you on the conversation listing. If it's something you might be interested in, tag your name there and the hostess will be by to check out your closet to make sure your closet is Posh compliant.

nami001 @jgajewski I see that you've sold non-compliant items before & most times when people are starting out they don't know the rules. So you should be ok. On your first day, you'll have to share everyone first only because you're new to the group. The hostess will tell you what you need to do though. After your 1st day you have until midnight your time to share the group. As for the handbag share group, I'll tag you on the conversation listing as well.

nami001 @leopardet On your profile, edit to include your website. Instead of your location, write your website. Also, your Meet the Posher, you can include your website there. Networking is very important so my suggestion is to share on all social media platforms. The best part is that you can share each of your listings from Poshmark to social media. Even better, your listings show up on google search. Your title is searchable so make sure to use key words that people might look for. Hope this helps :)

I'm in Hawaii & we always get passing showers, when that happens I shove my purse under my shirt or I usually carry a light weight cardigan & wrap it up so it doesn't get wet. When you do this, people will share your announcement & several of your items. This drives traffic to your closet & you gain more exposure. nami001 @lovem88 Hi Angel, you aren't able to share your entire closet or anyone else's entire closet at once. You can only share an entire closet to social media. Go to the closet, and the upper right corner has an arrow in a box pointing up. Click on that and it'll say "share closet" & will give you social media options. As for share groups, the ones that I participate in, allow you to share until midnight your time. All have a sign up cut off time, like 3pm EST (depends), the share group host closes the sign up & you share everyone who's on the list. You're allowed to start sharing before the sign up closes but need to mark where you left

nami001 @sillymoon off since people sign up at the very last min. Most of the time, the host sends out a final list with everyone on it. I usually wait for the final list before I share. It usually comes out around 3pm EST & you have until midnight your time to share. So it's flexible plus a great way to make new friends & get your items sold. All share groups have a different share pattern. The instructions will be in the sign up description.

She only checks for noncompliant items or outside transactions & you have nothing to worry about. It's more of a formality. She'll give you instructions on what to do next....cont

The host will tag your name on the sign up list on your first day with the group. After the first day, you can sign up on your own whenever you want to. Good days to sign up are around pay days lol. The group is super easy as your only sharing the first item for sale (skipping all ads) 10x. If you're not sure about any group, just keep it in your likes for now ok? Gonna go tag you 😁

nami001 @sillymoon The share blast group usually has anywhere from 10 - 20 people. Since you're only sharing the first item 10x, it usually goes by fast. After your first day, what you can do is check the sign up list to see how many people are signed up before signing up. The sign up closes at 2pm EST so just check it before signing up but sometimes, a few people sign up at the very last minute haha

nami001 @sillymoon - the other share groups has anywhere from 30 - 70 closets sharing and that does take some time since you're sharing 6 or 10 different items but it's an effective way to gain followers and potential buyers. Since you have until midnight, some share in spurts meaning they might share 20 closets, mark where they left off then come back an finish later in the day. As long as shares are finished by midnight you don't have to share all at once. Hope to see you in the share groups

celinerachelle @nami001 - quick question. I have one girl who keeps bundling items, but doesn't seem to buy. There is a drew that I have marked lower than I should and would prefer to keep it than sell for the price marked. However, I would hate to mark it up or take the listing down while it is in her bundle because that seems unfair. What is your advice?

nami001 @celinerachelle Lots of sellers drop the price on a listing saying 1 hour or 1 day sale and then mark it back up if it doesn't sell. I don't think you should worry about marking it back up. Some people add to Bundle so it goes to their likes instead of liking the item. It's another way to add an item to your likes. She's probably doing that if she's adding multiples to a bundle & not checking out. She's probably not even looking at the price. Perfectly fine to mark it back up again 😘💕

My friend came from NY for 2 weeks and stayed in a condo for $2500 for 2 people. That included air, hotel and rental car. When you pick an island, I'll give you some must see places. I go to Maui for work sometimes and it's slow pace but definitely a tourist spot as is Kauai, lol. I know I'm probably confusing you.

In fact I had relatives staying here and they did a 1 day tour to the Big Island to see the volcano. You should come with your family members. When are they planning on coming here. nami001 @sookiesays Hi Y, I think I can speak for the majority of the Posh community when I say we all share your frustration with Poshers who don't play by the rules are are selling non-compliant items. The best defense we have is to report and keep reporting violators. Eventually Posh will get to their closet and they'll be suspended. I agree it's insulting the ignore the rules and sell whatever they want. I saw a wash machine once..lol..

The good thing is that non-compliant closets will not attain PA status nor get host picks. Things that other Poshers strive for. Keep reporting the non-compliant items though. I'm 4 islands away so we're safe. Kilauea has been erupting since the 80s continually so we're use to this but this is the first time fissures have erupted. Are you going to Kauai this month? nami001 @dierks24 I’m on Oahu. You’re going to have so much fun In Maui. If you have time see the sunrise at Haleakala. You’ll have to get up really early though but it’s is so worth it. It’s a little chilly so take a light jacket. If you can’t see the sunrise, it’s still worth a drive up there to see the crater. On the way there stop by Makawao which is a Hawaiian cowboy town. Wish you were coming to Oahu. That would’ve been awesome...

nami001 @dierks24 Go see Iao Needle. Hana is another place to see. The drive is a winding road and kind of narrow but on the drive you’ll see waterfalls. You can swim in the waterfall pools. The rental car companies tell you not to go around instead turn around once you reach Hana town but we always go around. There’s a black sand beach on the other side. Also make sure to gas up cause there are only 1 or 2 gas stations on the way. Have fun PFF! Make sure to put on plenty of sunscreen too ❤️

I've done that so many times! I'm in a few share groups and couldn't find the listings I was suppose to share. Then I figured out Posh switched it on me, lol. Thank you again! They just added a new market "Men's Kick's" on the heels of adding "Home Goods" so I think sometimes their system automatically switched market places. Thank you for letting me know it worked out. nami001 @gyspymama84 Hi!! I didn’t know you were in Maui! I use to go to Maui a lot for work & would stay there for 3 - 4 days at a time. Maui was like a second home. The company I work for owns part of the Kea Lani so I always stay in Wailea. Sometimes Kihei bcuz the company owns a hotel there too but usually I stay in Wailea. I love Maui! Been to Haiku a lot and still love the drive every time I go. That’s so cool we’re island neighbors!

You share the top 20 available listings for each closet that has signed up l. We’ve been averaging between 50 - 80 closets so that’s over 1000 shares you’ll be giving and receiving. You have 48 hours to complete shares for all closets.

nami001 @_back2basics_ IKR? I’m not the only one affected. I’ve seen other closets that are affected and I’ve also seen other closets that share like crazy like more than me but have no restrictions. I stopped the share group before I went into share jail because I was hearing about other closets getting locked out of their accounts because of a security breach. The closets couldn’t get into their accounts. So I shut down the SG for a couple of weeks. I have no idea what’s going on. So annoying.

He called our internet provider & was told they were having a Malware problem on there server & had to shut it down to protect all their clients. msneverending1 I am on another share site daily that also has share buddies, when she realized she was not on the correct share site she switched to the correct site to share my jewelry listings, on that site it is a 5 day share and 15-20 listings are shared from each closet. Sorry, she just made a mistake; she now knows the correct share group she is supposed to share with, so it should not happen in the future. Thank you.

michellenaayem Love your pic!Super cute! I’m obsessed with my handbags,and in the same way! Always in a dust bag and a box, but I use heavy gift boxes from Coach,Michael Kors,etc Never ever on the floor.I purchased a super cute handbag hanger on Poshmark last month so that when we eventually start going out again, I can hang it from the table! So enjoyed checking out your closet! There’s nothing in mine yet...I started here intending to thin the handbag herd, but I just can’t seem to do it! 💖🌺

nami001 @michellenaayem Aloha my purse twin 🤗 I have a couple of the purse hangers, those are great. I have a purse hanger made specifically for the car. It hangs from the headrest. I’ve seen people put their bags on the floor in the public bathroom that’s so gross. I can never understand why people do that. You know when it rains, I tuck my purse under my jacket or under my shirt, lol. It drives my friends crazy. They tell me I’m too OCD about my purses. Have you thought about selling on Posh?

nami001 @michellenaayem If you ever do, let me know and I can help you with any questions. It can get quite addicting though. I have a hard time parting with my handbags but I just have too many. I usually only use them a handful of times and because I’m OCD I don’t want them to get dirty so I put them away, lol. If you ever decide to start selling let me know.
