thehoneybee what's share?
Jan 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @thehoneybee Hi Deb, "share" is when you share a listing to your newsfeed/followers. You have 38 shares which means you've shared other Poshers listings 38 times. The more you share the more exposure you'll get for your closet bcuz the favor will be returned. Share a lot as this leads to followers and potential sales. Equally important is sharing your own listings to your followers several times a day. This keeps your listings refreshed. Reach out any time you need help ok? Aloha xoxo

thehoneybee @nami001 thanks. I can't reply to the person who ♡ me. So I just comments on my site. Can they see it?
Jan 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @thehoneybee Hi again, no they won't see your comment to them, you have to tag them like I tagged you here. When commenting or replying to someone who comments on your listings, you need to use the @ mark in front of their closet name. If you don't they won't get the message do make sure to always use the @ mark. Is there a reason why you can't reply to the person who liked your listing?

thehoneybee @nami001 aaaah. I learned. thank you for your fast answer and kindness. Another one question is that I upload my stuff maybe 2second ago then I saw someone who did after me has tons of likes but mine is just way down without no likes. how can that happen. I understand that many transitions can happen with a minutes but how can they have that many likes with that same time? thanks in advance
Jan 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @thehoneybee If you're seeing someone listing w/lots of likes it doesn't mean they just uploaded it. I bet the listing is a few months old. What you're seeing is people self sharing to keep it freshed in the category. It's not typical for someone to upload a listing & within seconds have a ton of likes. I think what you're seeing is an old listing that was shared to the newsfeed. Hope this helps and reach out any time, ok?

bellacincy Hello😄 I am trying to use this as a full-time "job" I'm making about $100 a week profit but have not been able to increase that. Would you have any suggestions? Do you know if anyone has been able to make this a full-time opportunity? Even just doubling my earnings would be a start ....💕💕 thanks for your help.
Jan 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @bellacincy Hi Bella, you seem to be doing everything right by having clear cover shots & having a high share count. I suggest attending Posh parties & congratulating host picks & sharing the picks to your followers to gain more exposure for your closet. The favor will be returned. Self share your listings a lot too. I'm sure there are lots of Poshers who do this as a full time job. They buy at wholesale from vendors. I'm not sure where you would find that info though..continues

mrslisalew
mrslisalew How do I find users who welcome trades?
Feb 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @mrslisalew Hi Lisa, I'm not sure how to find closets that trade. Sometimes closets post listings saying they trade or they state in their listings they trade or they don't. Posh doesn't support trades though. If something was to go wrong with your trade transaction, Posh can't intervene and help you. If you are set on trading the advise I'd give you is to be very careful. If it seems to good to be true then it probably is. Thank you for reaching out. Enjoy Posh. Aloha xoxo
Feb 04Reply
mrslisalew
mrslisalew Thanks. Makes sense that if posh doesn't support trades then they don't have a filter for that. Thanks for the advice. If I trade I will be sure to only trade somethings I would give away, just in case.

celestesxoxo
celestesxoxo I use USPS boxes to ship my items but my question is what happens if you do ship with priority flat rate and such?
Feb 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @celestesxoxo Hi Celeste, if you ship using the Priority Flat Rate or Express Boxes, the pkg will be returned to you. This delays delivery. Often times sellers have reached out to me bcuz they used the wrong box. They re-sent the pkg but the buyer cancelled their order & the seller wants to know how to retrieve the pkg back. The next time you have a sale. Look at the label. It'll say "commercial shipping". Posh gets a discount for PM but not the flat rate boxes. Hope this helps. Aloha xoxo
Feb 04Reply
celestesxoxo
celestesxoxo Thank you! Im bummed now i just got 4 flat rate boxes because i didnt know they were flat rate...i sent one out today because i didnt think it was a big deal😅
Feb 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @celestesxoxo Oh no, watch the tracking status. If it says "pending USPS scan" for a few days then it's coming back to you. If after 7 days it still says "pending.." the buyer has the option of cancelling. It is a big deal. As mentioned Posh has a special commercial license & that's why we are able to ship Priority Mail so cheap. You can order free boxes and supplies from the USPS website & they'll even deliver for free. Good luck, hope it works out. Reach out any time ok? Aloha
Feb 04Reply
celestesxoxo
celestesxoxo If they don't cancel it and it says pending for more than 7 days does it come back to me or them?? And thank you so much
Feb 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @celestesxoxo It won't be delivered to them, it'll come back to you. The scan provides proof that you've shipped the item, without the scan and as long as the tracking says "pending USPS scan" then it's like you haven't shipped the item. Hope this makes sense. You might want to reach out to the buyer & tell them of your mistake. If somehow the box does make it to the buyer she'll have to pay the difference for postage or she can refuse the box. Good luck & you're welcome 💕

The good, the bad and even the ugly...lol! I joined PM on October 2015 but took me another month before I got the courage do list anything. I did sell a man's tie but realized that it wasn't compliant after the fact. I couldn't delete that but did delete the others. Mahalo on any help and tips you can give me.

nami001 @hippymama613 Hi Laura, thank you for all the shares. Congratulations on your bundle sale! Woot woot. Ask away....
Feb 09Reply
jayjune
jayjune @nami001 thanks! Yay! So we're still negotiating our price but do I make a new listing all together or do them individual? If they're individual she doesn't pay 3 shippings, right? Lead me Wise One!
Feb 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @hippymama613 Haha! Are you using an iPhone or Android? If you're using an iPhone you can set your bundle discount through the app & the buyer just has to put her items in the cart. Posh will automatically calculate the discount and bundle everything together so the buyer only pays shipping once...continues
Feb 09Reply
nami001
nami001 I'm assuming you have the droid bcuz you don't have a bundle discount displayed. I think the feature isn't available for the android yet. In this case, make a separate listing & include all the items. Calculate the price but price it high. Once your buyer likes the item, drop the price to the agreed upon price with the hopes it'll trigger a discount on shipping.
Feb 09Reply
nami001
nami001 Make sure to include the pictures of all the items so there is no dispute. Mark the other listing as not for sale so nobody buys it while you're making the bundle. I'll tag you w/one of my old bundles so you can get an idea. Just remember to be descriptive. @hippymama613 👆🏼
Feb 09Reply
nami001
nami001 @hippymama613 If it's individual then yes she'll pay 3 separate shipping so to avoid this and save her on shipping, make a bundle listing. This way she'll only have to pay shipping 1 time. Up to 5 lbs the shipping is $4.99 but if it goes over 5lbs, you'll have to pay the difference so keep that in mind when negotiating a price. Ok going to tag you with my old bundle

nami001 @fireglowgem I'm Emy & it's nice to meet you. There is no way to find out why a closet blocks someone. Sometimes a closet might block because they've seen comments on another Posher's listing that they didn't care for. Sometimes it might be a glitch within the system or sometimes a closet unintentionally blocks a closet without realizing it. Sorry but there is no way to find out. Have a terrific weekend 💕

Feb 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @scblei Hi Sarah, I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm on a business trip and haven't been able to check Posh. I'm not sure where everyone gets their mannequins but I got mine on a bidding site. I remember coming across a few closets that named a retail store that had them on sale. I live in Hawaii & it wasn't a store I knew. If you see a closet that has one, you could probably reach out & ask them. Most would be happy to tell you. If I find out I'll tag you ok? Happy Poshing!

nami001 @paradise_808 Hi Norma, I'm so sorry for getting back to you so late. I didn't see the message till just now. I'm a dork I know lol. I checked your closet & it's adorable. You have great cover shots which will entice a buyer to click further. Just a couple of things: for your titles, maximize it. Meaning instead of writing Mui Mui Heels Size 5. Write Black Mui Mui Kitten Heels.
Feb 14Reply
nami001
nami001 The title is search able so if someone is looking for Mui Mui heels, you listing will pop up. If you include black or kitten heels your listing will pop up. The way it is written now, your listing will pop up only for Mui Mui or heels size 5. If you're more descriptive in the title you're reaching a more wider range in the search engine. I hope this makes sense. I notched the items at the bottom of your closet hasn't been shared in a couple of days
Feb 14Reply

focus_mrs @nami001 Hi there! Are there buyers that I should be aware of? I've had offers recently from poshers with no active selling listings, meet the posher listing, no love notes, and a very odd profile pics. I don't want to be picky but it seems sketchy😟 Help!
Feb 21Reply
focus_mrs
focus_mrs @nami001 also when you temporarily closed your closet, did you have to manually close each listing? I wish there was a way to select all and complete certain actions like when you like listings and they are now sold. 😁Thx!

nami001
nami001 @koreandolly2 Hey PFF, just saw this message cuz I'm working my way down the list of notifications haha. I'll start tagging the other closet as well. If it ever gets bothersome please let me know and I'll take you off. I promise I won't be offended. Miss you too PFF! I'll be back late night on the 24th. Oh and btw, you should write to Posh and request to host a party. Your closet is so stinking cute! Talk to you soon. Gotta sleep. 2am here ugh
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @focus_mrs Hi Renee! Great question. Be careful of buyers who want to take a transaction off of Posh or who want to trade. If a buyer doesn't have a Meet the Seller profile or any love notes it doesn't really mean much. They could've just started their closet or they're not into leaving feedback. I've had lots of sales like that & they've worked out fine. I know what you mean about profile pics, don't know what they're thinking lol...continues
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @focus_mrs The best thing to do is always go with your gut. I've declined offers because I didn't feel comfortable. I stay away from buyers that have closets full of non-compliant items or closets that don't follow Posh rules. Posh is here to protect you so even if you somehow get a shady buyer, Posh will help you. Make sure your descriptions are detailed & provide lots of pics so there is no discrepancy. Use pic collages for free to maximize as many pics as possible.
Feb 21Reply
focus_mrs
focus_mrs @nami001 My last question for now, do you have any app recommendations for collages?
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 Just remember to go w/your gut. Sometimes the sale isn't worth the headache. It's ok to decline an offer. Oh and btw, when you make a sale, they buyer has 3 hours to cancel the order so always wait at least 3 hrs before sending out. I always send the next day. If a buyer asks you to cancel because they purchased by mistake, don't. Tell them to cancel it because if you cancel it the listing will say sold & you'll have to make a brand new one. If they cancel you're listing goes back up.
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 As for putting my closet on "vacation". I had to individually mark every listing "not for sale". Just click on the top right corner "edit" & at the bottom you can mark it "not for sale". The reason why I did this is because a seller has 7 days from the date of purchase to send the package. If the package isn't sent, the buyer has the option to cancel the transaction. Plus I didn't want to inconvenience the buyer. Sorry for the super long message. Thank you for reaching out to me.
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 Reach out any time ok? I'm on a business trip right now and can only respond super late. Aloha! @focus_mrs - please read all the above comments 😘

nami001 @focus_mrs I use BeFunky (free if you have an iPhone) PicsArt, Pic Collage, Layout and Insta Collage. I prefer BeFunky, it's super easy to use. Another cool app to use is Rhonna. It's how I made the fonts on this listing. Free for iPhone users. The best collage in my opinion is BeFunky and PicsArt. Let me know how it works for you & I'll help you if you need it. 😘

shopahola
shopahola @nami001, good morning. In one of your comments you spoke about the buyers right to cancel w/in 3 hrs. Well, I love this because sometimes we can have buyers remorse. So thus happened to me this week. I tried to cancel after 1/2 hr. The seller had already sent. What is the chance of that? I was a tad perturbed, but I love her closet so I graciously went along. What would you have done?
Feb 21Reply
croweart
croweart @wiwisdayoff Emy is awesome for helping and answering questions!!! Just ask away!!!
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopahola Hi Sandra, sometimes a seller is so eager to please a buyer they'll send it same day within hours if possible. Most of the times buyers feel the minute they order, it should already be on their doorstep. The 3 hour time frame applies to "Buy Now". If you used the "offer" button then it's binding & can't be cancelled. The 3 hr time frame really isn't for buyer's remorse but more like "oops I accidentally pushed the buy button" this is why it's cancelable but the "offer button" isn't.
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopahola Once the seller sent the pkg to you there is nothing you or she could've done to cancel the order. I always buy what I absolutely love and if I get it & don't like it I can always re-Posh lol. Just know that your seller was aiming to please you by sending it to you as fast as she did. Most seasoned sellers won't send even "offer" orders for a couple of days. Hope this helps. Sorry there is nothing you can do at this point. Reach out any time you have questions or need help. Aloha xoxo

nami001 @slickbitch Hi Luna, I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I was out of town on business & just saw your question. Usually a host will comment on your listing tell you they chose your item as their host pick. I see in your case the host didn't. You should've received an email notification from Posh telling you who chose the HP. If you don't see it, check your junk folder or make sure you have email notifications turned on...continued
Feb 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @slickbitch Getting a host pick is very special because hosts are only allowed a certain amount of listing they can showcase during their party. This means that your listing was literally chosen out of thousands of listings. You should be very proud and I'm glad to see you are showcasing it as a host pick. Not only will this give you a boost of confidence but also other closets will know you follow Posh rules & will probably pick up more host picks. Keep up the good work!
Feb 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @slickbitch Your host pick was exclusively showcased in the "host pick showroom" which is a big deal because that showroom only has anywhere from 250 - 500 listings. People tend to shop the host pick showroom because there are less listings plus they were selected by hosts. If you haven't attended a Posh party yet, I encourage you to. It's a great way to interact with the Posh community. Happy Poshing!

I had Wish but the shipping took like a month and that's crazy 😂 I guess I just need someone to explain this app to me 😁
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @carleigh_22 Hi Carleigh, thank you for reaching out. First, welcome to Posh! Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it to be quite addicting. Poshmark is a place where you can buy women's fashion from regular women like you & me. People are selling items from their closet that they no longer need. You can find items at a fraction of the original price. Items are either used or new and will say so in the listing...cont
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 To purchase, you can either submit an offer (which is binding) or you can click on the "Buy It Now" button. Once you purchase an item, a seller has 7 days to ship but most will ship within a couple of days. All packages are sent Priority Mail so it only takes a few days to get to you. Nothing crazy like a month! Plus you'll get a tracking number and can see where your package is at while it's on it's way to you. If there's a brand you like, you can search for it & see what's out there...cont
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 You can find almost anything on here for a fraction of the original cost. Buying on Poshmark is safe. The seller doesn't receive your payment until you've received your package & it's as described. You have to accept the package through the app - this is just telling Posh that the item was as described & you're happy with the item. Once you give Posh the ok, they will release payment to the seller...cont

nami001 The more people you follow the better, you'll see their listings in your newsfeed whenever they share it to their followers. If you see something you like but aren't sure just yet, just like the item. Every so often a seller will drop the price on an item you liked and you'll relieve notification that there was a price drop. Sometimes there's an incentive like discounted shipping. Shipping is paid for by the buyer and is only $5.95 for Priority Mail...cont
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 Follow people who match your style this way your newsfeed will reflect similar tastes to you. If any seller asks you to take a transaction off of Poshmark, don't do it. You're only protected if you keep your transactions on Posh. As with any selling site there are a few bad seeds but keep everything on Posh and you'll be protected. Even if a seller tells you they'll give you the item for half of what they're asking for. Don't don't do it...cont
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 That being said, Poshmark is a very safe place to buy and sell. As I mentioned Poshmark is very protective of their users. If you ever have doubts about a seller it's best to go with your gut feelings but again that is very rare. I've been using the app for 2 years and have had no issues..cont
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 As a seller, if you decide to start selling your items, just take pictures and upload to the app. You can only sell from your phone or tablet though. A seller has to pay Poshmark 20% off of the sale. So if something is $100, a seller pays Posh $20 fee for the sale. A seller will get $80 for the item. Anything $15 and below is a flat rate $2.95 so keep this in mind when negotiating with a seller or when you decide to start selling. If you do decide to start selling,

nami001 I'll help you get started so don't worry. It's easy & a great way to clear out your closet & make a little $$. Before you decide to sell, look at other seller's closets and how they have cover shots. You want to take pictures with good lighting & write descriptions that a buyer will appreciate. I think I covered the basics but like this listing so you can come back to it when you need to. I'm here to help you any time you need help ok?

carleigh_22 Also I forgot to ask what a "Host Pick" is. I have seen it on posts and everyone congratulates them!
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @carleigh_22 You're so welcome. I'm glad to help you any time. Posh has 2 virtual parties a day. These parties are hosted by regular Posher's like you and me. A host is invited to host a party by Posh a couple of months in advance of the actual party date. Host go through hundreds of closet to pick a listing that fits their theme. Once they've chosen a listing, they share it to the "host pick showroom". The host is limited to 100 listings & the closet they share from must follow all Posh rules.
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 During the party, there are several showrooms but the host pick showroom has the most traffic because there will only be anywhere from 250 - 500 listings being showcased. The main showroom could have anywhere from 200,000 and up listings. So it's pretty special to get a host pick since most tend to shop the host pick showroom where there's less listings. Some seller showcase their host pick on their title or pic and some like me don't. I'll tag you with a listing so can see what I mean..con
Mar 05Reply
nami001
nami001 So long story short (haha) getting a host pick is pretty special since there's only a limited amount of slots available in the showroom. Like I mentioned though some sellers tend to showcase their host pick and some don't. I don't because it's not searchable in Google. Hope this helps. I'll tag you with a host pick listing so you can see what it means.

Mar 06Reply
posh_808
posh_808 nami001Oh, I don't understand the tagging yet, but I am assuming that it's help with getting our names out there to the Posh community and get shares and love...is there a guideline for this? got to go, kai is up
Mar 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @posh_808 "tagging" is when someone "tags" you on a listing with a message. I've started to tag you w/party announcements with the hopes of getting your closet more exposure and hopefully a host pick. When you see the party tag, go to the listing & congratulate the host. Then share her announcement and several of her items from her closet. This shows the host that you're thoughtful & you interact with the Posh community.
Mar 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @posh_808 Hosts love closets with high share counts. A good gauge is to have more shares than your followers. Also make sure to like the party announcement. Every so often the host will drop the price and it'll hit your newsfeed. When you see it in your newsfeed, make sure to share it to your followers. The host will see that you've shared it and will know that you are interacting with the community.
Mar 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @posh_808 I've also tagged you with a few follow games. Just like the listing and follow everyone who's liked it and hopefully you'll see your follower base grow. Oh and tagging is just when someone tags you with the @ mark. Just like how I've been "tagging" you with these messages. xoxo
Mar 06Reply
posh_808
posh_808 @nami001 when you go to the following games, what do you do on there? do you go into each closet to follow? Trying to find a more efficient way to follow them ;)
Mar 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @posh_808 Hi Kara, for follow games: like the listing so that other closets can follow you. You don't have to follow every closet. Follow closets that best match your style or closets that catch your eye. You would have to look at each closet individually which would be time consuming. I guess the most effective way is to follow each closet for now & then purge them later. I won't tag you on follow games if you don't want. Totally understand so let me know ok? Xoxo
Mar 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @posh_808 Ooops and I almost forgot. Tag your name on the follow game, and tag a couple of people. If you have nobody to tag, just write "shared - good luck with your follow game" and then share it to your followers.

nami001 @mondieu Hi! Thank you for reaching out. First welcome to Posh! I'm Emy & it's nice to meet you. The answers to your questions are going to come in a few comments since I'm limited to 500 characters per comment. A Suggested User (SU) is featured exclusively on Posh's site and are recommended to others as closets to follow. When someone signs up to Posh, they will automatically be given suggestions on who to follow based on their style. These suggestions are Suggested Users...cont
Mar 07Reply
nami001
nami001 It's not easy to become a Suggested User. You need to have great ratings as a seller. You also need to be active in the community by interacting and sharing other's listings. You need to keep your closet compliant at all times. Know what you can and can't sell. Help other Poshers when you can etc. also have a closet with thoughtful cover shots. After you've been on Posh for 3 months you can write to them to request to be a SU...cont
Mar 07Reply
nami001
nami001 A host pick (HP) is a listing that was chosen my a fellow Posher who hosted a virtual Posh party. Hosts are only allowed 100 listings and they literally go through hundreds of closets to find a listing that fits their theme or what they want to showcase. Since getting a host pick is such a rare and special honor, people showcase it in their title or cover shot. Some don't showcase it because it's not searchable in Google or they don't want to clutter their cover shots..cont
Mar 07Reply
nami001
nami001 The best way to get more exposure for your closet is of course sharing like you mentioned. A good gauge is to have more shares than your follower base - this helps when trying to become a SU too. Another way is to share your listings to social media. IG & Twitter are good places to start. I don't share on FB but others do. Hope this helps and sorry for the multiple comments. If you ever need help reach out any time ok?

nami001 @mondieu Hi there! Please read above comments ⬆️ couldn't fit everything in one comment. Happy Poshing oh and btw I'm in Hawaii & I'll try to get back to guy as soon as I can but there's a time difference so sometimes it takes me a while.
Mar 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @mondieu You're welcome! I forgot to add. Equally important is self sharing your listings several times a day. This keeps your listings refreshed in the brand and category. If you share your listing & I share a listing that's in the same category, brand & size as you right after you shared yours, mine gets placed on top of yours. you want to share at least 3 times a day, plus it goes to your newsfeed and your followers will share for you. Posh secret selling tip lol xoxo

charmin627
charmin627 @nami001 I have a question if you don't mind, Posh doesn't allow you to sell children's clothing, however I have ran into a lot of tiny waist women who wear sz 10 and up in little girls clothing. For example my 8 year old has grown out of her 10s and 12s, I buy jeans like I'm never going to see another pair haha So I have sold tons of her outgrown jeans to women on facebook who are a Size 0-2. If it's something a grown woman can wear, is it okay?
Mar 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @charmin627 Hi Kim, thank you for reaching out. Good question. Unfortunately children's clothing can't be sold even if a tiny women can fit into it. It clutters the newsfeed and there really is no category for children's clothing. Same as men clothing. You can only sale women's clothing or fashion. I know there are people who sell it any way but they risk getting their close flagged by Posh. Happy Poshing and reach out any time you have a question or need help xoxo
Mar 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @charmin627 I should add you can sell junior sizes like Hollister, Abercrombie or AE..brands along those lines. Hope this helps. Aloha xoxo

kyy11
kyy11 Hi! My first item sold was received by the buyer today, however they have not accepted. Will I 100% be paid by the third day or are there instances where the seller does not get paid? I'm really paranoid about it if you can't tell! Thank you!
Mar 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @kyy11 Hi Ky, yes you will 100% be paid on the 4th day so don't worry. Some buyers aren't aware that they need to accept the package in order for the seller to get paid. It's not a good idea to ask the buyer to accept the package in case you were thinking of doing that. Posh sends notification to the buyer asking them to accept the package. Congrats on your sale! Thank you for reaching out. Have a terrific weekend. Aloha xoxo

nami001
nami001 @jdcox4 Hi there, you reached out to me on another listing asking how to tag someone w/this listing. I've let a couple of people borrow it. To tag someone use the @ mark in front of their name & they'll be directed to the listing you're tagging. The reason for no perfume is because it has alcohol in it & can cause a fire plus it's against PO policy. The other reason is because it can burst during transit & cause damage to the contents . Hope this help & reach out any time you need help. Aloha

nami001 @leannemj7 Hi Leanne, if someone adds a bundle you'll see it in your newsfeed. It'll say xxxxx added to a bundle. Sometimes though when someone is sharing they mistakenly hit the "add to bundle" button. It's not valid until they check out. Once they purchase the bundle you'll see it grouped together in your sales. Hope this helps & reach out any time. Have a terrific weekend. Aloha from Hawaii ❣

nami001 @leannemj7 You can see what they've added to a bundle in your newsfeed but it's not valid until the check out. In your newsfeed you'll receive notification of what was added to the bundle but it's not valid until the check out and purchase. Once the bundle purchase is made, you'll receive an email with the items that were bundled but you can also see it in you're "sales" tab. I'll show you what I mean. I'll add a couple of your things to a bundle & you'll see it in your newsfeed..hold on
Mar 12Reply

nami001 @leannemj7 I just added 2 items from your closet to a bundle. You should've see it in your newsfeed. If I purchased the bundle then you would've seen it in your "sales" tab. You would also get an email from Posh telling of you of the sold bundle. Hope this helps xoxo
Mar 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @leannemj7 Posh doesn't have shipping discounts very often. It seems like they have it around major holidays. It's been awhile since they've had any. However, sometimes when you drop a price by 10% or more, it triggers a shipping discount within the system. It's not guaranteed though. It's seems the higher the price when dropped by 10% it triggers a discount anywhere from .99 cents to $3.99. xoxo

trendythelma Hi, thanks for offering to answer questions. How do I get my items to be a host pick in parties :)
Mar 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma Hi there, good question. First follow @official_forum & check it regularly for upcoming party announcements. Interact with the Posh community by sharing their listings & they'll return the favor. When they share your listings, their followers will see it & an upcoming host might see it as well. Hosts like to see a high share count & a good gauge is to have more shares than followers. Make sure you're following Posh rules, read the above pictures for details..continues
Mar 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma Hosts can only pick from closets that are compliant. Attend the virtual Posh parties as much as possible, congratulate host picks & share to your followers. This will help you gain more exposure for your closet. I'll check your closet later but if you like I can tag you on upcoming parties. If you want me let me know & I'll tell you the proper etiquette. Thanks for reaching out. Aloha xoxo
Mar 19Reply
trendythelma
trendythelma @nami001 thank you so much for responding! I appreciate the advice :) Yes please feel free to go through my closet and let me know if there's anything I need to know. I'll start working on the tips you've given me.
Mar 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma I went through your closet earlier & you have a cute closet with great cover shots. Hosts love this as any host pick they choose is a representation of them. As I mentioned most hosts take into consideration how active you & the only way to gauge your activity is by your share count. So start sharing a lot. You might want to join a share group. This is a great way to bring your share count up, interact w/other Posher's and a great way to gain exposure for your closet.
Mar 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma If you want to join a share group, I'll introduce you to a couple. You'll share everyone's closet that is signed up and they'll share your closet as well. This is also a great way to get your items sold and gain followers. About Posh parties, attend the 7pm (PST) one and visit the host pick show room. Congratulate host picks & share their listing to your followers. The more you do this, the more your closet will be recognized & you'll gain more followers.
Mar 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma I'll start tagging you with upcoming parties. When you I tag you, go to the listing and congratulate the host. Share her party announcement & several of her listings to your followers. This lets her know that you're being supportive of her party. Make sure to like the announcement & every time she drops the price, you'll see it in your newsfeed. When you do, share it a few times to your followers.
Mar 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma Don't ask the host for a host pick or tag her on your listings asking for a host pick. Since you've congratulated her, your closet is on her announcement and she will check out your closet. I'll start tagging you and I also need you to tag me back letting me know that you got the tag. This also shows the hostess that you're thoughtful. Sorry for the long message, Reach out any time ok? Aloha xoxo

trendythelma @nami001 I forgot to ask, what are some good share groups I can join? Are they on Facebook?
Mar 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @trendythelma Hello, I'll tag you with a couple of share groups that are easy and fun. Each share group has different ways of sharing. One of the share groups "share blasts" the 1st item for sale in each closet 10 times. If you join this group you would put the item you want everyone to share at the top of your closet. I'll tag you on the "conversation age" for the share group. The hostess will have to check your closet before she gives you the ok.
Mar 21Reply
nami001
nami001 She'll tag you on the sign up for your first day after that you can sign up whenever you want to. ou aren't committed to every day. On your first day, you'll have to share for everyone who signed up first. After you've shared and signed out everyone will share for you. This is only your first day. If you sign up again, everyone will share for you instead of waiting for your shares. Always remember to sign out too.
Mar 21Reply
nami001
nami001 There is another share group that shares the 1st 10 items in each closet, this group has a lot more participants sometimes up to 80 closets. That's 800 shares lol. I'll tag you with that conversation page as well. The other share group shares the first three items in each closet, 3x each for a total of 9 shares per closet. I'll tag you with the share groups. Once I tag you, just introduce yourself to the hostess and tell them you want to join...if you want to join.

meshell1955 This is all a little confusing. Does everything I take a picture of to post, post to my closet? How do I get in touch with a seller to ask a question? Help, I'm new here😏have yet to list an item but have some new things with tags that I want to start with first.? Do I put in my description if what I have to list is say a Dooney and Burke shoulder bag? Thank you so much. Meshel
Mar 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @meshell1955 Hi Meshel, thank you for reaching out. Yes anything you post to sell will post to your closet. Just like your "Meet The Posher" listing. When you post a listing, put the brand & a description. Use one of my listings for reference. When pricing your item take into account that Posh takes 20% fee on anything over $15 & a flat rate of $2.95 for $15 and under..continues
Mar 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @meshell1955 To ask a seller a question, you can just ask a question on their listing like you did here. If and when you post listings to sell and a buyer asks you a question, make sure to use the @ mark in front of their ID like I did for you so that they'll get the message or response. They won't see it unless you tag them. Follow @official_forum for helpful closet tips. If you need help at any time just tag me ok? Welcome to Posh! You'll have so much fun 💕

meshell1955
meshell1955 @nami001 One more question and then I will leave you alone for tonight. What happens if I have something I wish to sell and it is not one of the labels listed ?
Mar 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @meshell1955 If the brand you're selling isn't listed, you'll have the option to "add brand" while you're creating your listing. For example, I have a few items from Japan where the brand isn't listed here but was able to "add brand". You could leave it blank but it's better to list a brand so that it's searchable. You can't list it as a brand that it isn't. Some people do that to get more exposure but it's misleading to the buyers.
Mar 21Reply

nami001 @yiayia666 Hi again, great question & this gets asked a lot. To tag someone put the @ mark in front of the closet ID like I did for you when I'm replying to your question. For example @yiayia666 or @nami00. If potential buyers are asking you questions & you aren't tagging them properly they won't see the message in their newsfeed because it's your listing. You have to tag them in order for them to see the message..continues

nami001
nami001 @yiayia666 If anyone comments on one of your listings without tagging your closet name, you'll still see the message because the message is in your closet. Let's practice. tag me here....Happy Poshing xoxo

officiallykim @nami001 I love this post! So many helpful tips. Thanks for doing this😄. I have a question, I've seen some people get a PM editor pick. What is that and how do they get them?
Mar 24Reply
nami001
nami001 @kub0001 Hi Kim, I'm so sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Great question! A PM editor pick is when Poshmark shares your listing to everyone's newsfeed exposing your listing to thousands of closets. This is great exposure for your closet which may lead to new followers or potential buyers. I don't know Poshmark's process in selecting a listing to showcase though. I do know that as long as your following Posh rules, have a compliant closet
Mar 25Reply
nami001
nami001 and thoughtful cover shots your chances at PM sharing your listing to everyone's newsfeed is higher. If this happens, you'll receive an e-mail saying that PM shared to everyone's newsfeed. Also, actively sharing other Posher's listings and self sharing will also help in getting your closet more exposure. The more you share, the favor is returned and maybe one of your listings will come to the attention of @pm_editor and you'll be showcased.

Mar 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @mymommascloset Hi there, that's a great question. This is my personal opinion but I believe it's because sneakers are considered unisex. eternally28 Thank you for the helpful advice. Is there a way to message someone without having to do so in the comments under an item?
Mar 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @eternally28 Hi Stacey! No, there is no way way to privately message someone. Sometimes people create listings exclusively for comments or feedback but it's not private. Sort of like how I made this help listing. Hope this helps. Have a terrific day. Aloha from Hawaii xoxo

Give it a read when you have time, you might find some helpful info. I have 2 other help listings with Q & A towards the bottom of my closet. If you read through the comments, you might find some helpful info. Happy Poshing xoxo

kelburz When people say "sign up with this code *code* and get $10 credit! How do you sign up with a credit???
Apr 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @kelburz Hi Kelley, that's a great question. Every closet has a code when they sign up with Posh. You can find yours by clicking on "invite friends". Use this code to invite people to sign up. When they use your code they get a $10 credit towards a future purchase & you get a $10 credit when they make their first purchase. There use to be a limit on how many people you can invite to use your code but I think there's no limit now...continues
Apr 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @kelburz Since you already have a closet the only way to get this credit is by inviting new people to sign up and by giving them your code. You'll get a $10 credit to use towards a future purchase only after they make their first purchase. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Happy Poshing. Aloha xoxo

nami001 @kelburz Did she already have a closet or was she signing up for the first time. If she already had a closet then it won't work. If this was her first time with ever then there might be a glitch and you should contact Posh support through the app. If your friend had a closet before & is making a new one it won't work unless she used a different email address. The best thing to do is contact Posh support. 😘

michelad Thank you for the follow and the shares. I just started using my account two weeks ago. Sales were good, now they have stalled. How long do you leave something up before you reduce your price? (Usually)
May 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @michelad Hi Blue. Welcome to Posh. Good question. For me, I reduce prices when an item has a lot of likes and when it's around pay day or when Posh rolls out a special discount I shipping. Your item has do be reduced by at least 10% for it to hit everyone's newsfeed who liked it. In addition they'll receive an email notifying them of the price drop. It has to be at least 10% from the last lowest price though...cont
May 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @michelad Sometimes a seller will drop the price by 10% and will say the discount is only for an hour and the price is going to go back up. The next time she drops the price. It'll have to be cheaper than what she previously dropped it. I hope this makes sense. Also, you should like your own item because when you drop the price you can see what notification others are getting...conf

nami001 @michelad If you have your own listings in your likes and you drop the price, you can see if a buyer will get discounted shipping or just notification of the price drop. Hope this helps. May 06Reply
maethecat1
maethecat1 I am close to getting a closet. I help my sis with hers❤️I am retiring next year, and looking to sell big time
May 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hi Diane! It's so nice to hear from you. I'm happy to hear you're thinking about starting your closet when you retire. I'm here to help you when you do ok? As for host picks, hosts peruse closets that are compliant & then make their selection. Usually whatever they pick will fit their theme as long as the theme isn't something specific. Hope this helps and so glad to hear from you. Aloha xoxo 😘

May 06Reply
maethecat1
maethecat1 Also, what does lowballing mean?
May 06Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hi Diane, low balling is when a buyer submits an offer that is really low. For example, if a seller is already selling an item at a significant discount but the buyer submits an offer that is more than 30% off the listed price. Sometimes I have buyers submit a $50 offer on an item that is listed at $200. This is low balling lol...cont
May 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 I'll check out your sister's closet later and introduce myself to her. I'm at work and it's really busy today. When you get your closet up, tag me and I'll help you get started and introduce you to some awesome Posher's who will help you as well. Have a terrific weekend. Aloha xoxo
May 07Reply
maethecat1
maethecat1 Thank u so much Nami! I usually don't offer an offer because I love to bundle. But once I went down two or three dollars. It was more than 25 dollars. V Do u think that it would be seen as being cheap?
May 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Most sellers now how an automatic bundle feature. Some offer anywhere from 10% and up. Most will advertise in their closet what the bundle discount is. What's really cool is that you just add items to your cart & Posh will automatically apply the discount at check out. If your bundling just ask the seller what their discount is & they'll be happy to give you a discount...cont
May 07Reply
maethecat1
maethecat1 Thank you!! You are a fabulous posher. Also. How does someone get a host pick? Is that a random pick?
May 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 when submitting an offer, usually a good medium is offering 10% off the listed price. This kind of tells the seller you're serious and not fishing. Even 15% but anything other than that might be considered lowballing to some. Hope this helps. Aloha xoxo
May 07Reply
maethecat1
maethecat1 Thank you again! I have to say that I hardly go to stores anymore for clothes , accessories and pocketbooks. I am a poshaholic! Lol. Gifts too! Every night, I have been following 100 posters. I go on someone's following list and press " follow" ! And then I share at least 10 items from those that I have bought from,,,
May 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hi Diane, sorry didn't see your question about how to get a host pick. Usually a host puts up an announcement about their party. Poshers congratulate the host and usually the host goes through the closet to see if anything catches their eye. Once you get your closet up, I'll tag you with upcoming parties so you can congratulate them and possibly get a host pick...cont
May 07Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hosts are always looking for new closets without any host picks so your chances are great at getting a host pick. Hosts can only pick from closets that are compliant so make sure you know what to sell. Hosts also look for high share counts so you sharing now is awesome. A good gauge is to have more shares than followers. Happy Poshing. 💕

May 08Reply
maethecat1
maethecat1 Is that tagging?
May 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hi Diane, there isn't a way to be notified when certain items are being sold you'd have to search for them. Sometimes sellers have a listing posted in their closet asking buyers to like the listing if they want to be notified of new listings in their closets. When the seller posts new listings, she'll drop the price on the notification listings as a way of letting buyers know she has new things in her closet...cont
May 08Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 tagging is when you put the @ mark in front of a closet's ID to leave them a message. Like how you tagged me here. As for certain items you're looking for, if you have a few favorite sellers you could always ask them to tag you when they have new items posted but I think you're looking for specific items. Hope you have a terrific weekend. Aloha xoxo 😘

I'm going to turn my notifications off on the day of the Party but, should I do it just before the party starts? nami001 @paradise_808 Hi PFF, of course I can take you off the notification list & it's not a problem at all. So sorry about that. As for turning off notifications during your party, I think it's preference. You'll be getting a lot of activity the day of your party. I turned mine off about 15 mins before the party. Others have turned it off the day of lol. Ppl will tag you w/their listing asking for HPs, others are congratulating you so it'll be a busy day for you. I say turn it off about 15 mins prior
May 16Reply

amirabadarin @nami001 could I be flagged for having listed ties in my closet? I thought it would be a cute promotion for fathers day but did not know it was against the rules? :-/
May 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @amirabadarin Hi Amira, I apologize for the late response. I missed your question & am just seeng it now. Yes, your closet can be flagged for selling mens ties. The one listing is a cute idea to remind people of Father's Day and unfortunately, you can't sell men's fashion. You're off to a great start with an impressive share count but you'll find more closets won't follow closets that aren't compliant with Posh rules..continues
May 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @amirabadarin Most closets strive for SU (suggested user) status and the honor of hosting a virtual party. Most won't share from closets that are noncompliant as it puts their status at risk. You have such an awesome share count & if your goal is to become a SU or host a party, you should remove the ties. Hope this helps. Aloha from Hawaii. Happy Poshing xoxo
May 23Reply
amirabadarin
amirabadarin @nami001 Thank you for the reply! I have taken down my ties now because yes I do hope to be a suggested user in the future. I also enjoy Poshmark and all it's potential and wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize my status. Thanks for words of wisdom and encouragement and for sharing the posh love! :) :)
May 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @amirabadarin Aloha Amira! Good job on taking down the ties. As long as you're a Posh Rule's Girl & stay compliant, you'll achieve your goals. You have an awesome share count, keep it up. A good gauge is to have more shares than followers. Hosts love seeing this. Plus it shows you engage with the community. If you want in can notify you of upcoming parties. It's a great way to meet new friends. Let me know ok? Have a great day & you're so awesome for taking those down 😘

May 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @__xoxoxo__ Hi Lucero, welcome to Posh. The best way to get your items sold is to share other Posher's listings & they'll return the favor and share your listings to their followers. The more you share, the more exposure so share a lot. Your share count should be more than your follower count. Also self share your items several times a day. If someone shares for you, always return the favor & you'll pick up followers who will share for you.
May 24Reply
nami001
nami001 @__xoxoxo__ Once you start sharing you'll pick up sales so don't worry. You just started this month, give it some time. I met someone who started a couple of weeks ago & started sharing other Posher's listings a lot & made her 1st sale yesterday. She has picked up follwers too. Follow @official_forum for helpful closet tips. Hope this helps. Aloha xoxo

nami001
nami001 @jessicagstone @cathhhherine read above pics for info on what's allowed. In a nutshell you're only allowed to sell women's fashion. By selling noncompliant items, you risk posh flagging your closet....

cathhhherine @nami001 I had no idea. Thank you!!
May 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @cathhhherine You're very welcome. I've marked your listing that need to be taken down. Most closets won't share your closet since it jeopardizes their status with Posh. In the past you've sold noncompliant items & Poshers will see this. My suggestion is to make a listing saying you weren't aware of the noncompliant items but you are now compliant...cont
May 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @cathhhherine This will help you get more followers and most importantly you'll be able to participate in share groups. Just make a listing and keep it at the top of your closet. Word it so people know you are now following Posh rules and you weren't aware of what wasn't allowed. Reach out any time you need help or have questions. Aloha xoxo

May 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @eddylin Hi Linda, great question 😄. Listings can only be shared once to a party so sellers like to share their own listings to parties. If you want to share another Posher's listings to a party, you should ask them first since most have a preference as to when they want to share it plus it can only be shared once to the party. Even if you hit "share to party" it'll only show up once in the showroom, the next time you share it goes to your newsfeed...continues

nami001
nami001 @celeryc Hi Charly, I'm sorry your experience wasn't a pleasant one. Most sellers here are honest and take Posh very seriously. Hopefully this was just an oversight on the seller's part. Posh will probably ask you for pics which you can upload right through the app. Did you report the problem? Make sure to include the pics to speed up your refund. After the seller gets the package back, you'll receive a full refund 😃. Reach out any time you need help. Aloha xoxo

You might want to express to her that you'll be returning the item. Let me know how it works out for you. It'll take Posh a couple of days so don't worry if you don't hear back right away ok? Happy Poshing & I hope this doesn't deter your experience with Posh. Aloha 😘

celeryc @nami001 Yes, I had notified her before I reported the purchase and she was being rude about the whole thing and she insinuated that i was overweight because the dress didnt fit me but all i said was that the size was marked wrong and i will be returning because of the stains, it was not the best experienece, but I will still be poshing on here. And thank you again for the help (:
May 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @celeryc Oh my, I'm so sorry you met up with a seller so unprofessional & rude. Don't engage in conversation with her anymore. Sounds like you did everything right by reaching out to her. Keep a snap shot of the conversation & submit it to Posh to show you tried working w/her. You don't need it but it's good to have. She's not too bright because now that convo is permanently on her sold listing. Some buyers check sold listings to see if there's any comments from buyers who aren't happy.
May 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @celeryc I'm glad this isn't deterring your experience. Always check feedback by looking at past sold items or the "love notes". Wow, I'm still shaking my head with your seller. Let me know how it works out. Have a great week. Aloha xoxo

highheelheaven Hi Nami. I've been wondering why so many poshers break all these rules. I don't want to get anybody in trouble or get anybody angry but I see it all the time. I mean today I found a closet selling drones!! Lol. I've just been looking the other way. Would you recommend reporting them? And is it anonymous if I do? Thank you, I appreciate any advice
Jun 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @highheelheaven Hi Deb, thank you for reaching out. I completely agree with you. There are so many closets that just don't play by the rules. The only way to try to get these closets flagged is to report them & keep reporting them. Eventfully Posh will take it down but it takes forever! Yes it's anonymous so you don't have to worry. Posh encourages Posher's to report closets that are violating the rules. If you ever need help, reach out any time ok? Aloha from Hawaii xoxo

Jun 10Reply
nami001
nami001 @highheelheaven Hi again, great question. Sometimes people will click on the wrong button since the "add to bundle" button is right under "share" or "like". I get this all the time. If you see someone adding a few items to a bundle w/o purchasing, they're probably just checking to see how much the total is. But if it's only 1 item they probably pushed the wrong button. Purchase isn't complete until they check out. How this helps xoxo 😘

highheelheaven I again Emie, so what you said in the last message. Are you saying that when I comment back to someone who has left me a comment about one of my items they aren't getting it because I didn't put @'as a tag? I feel like I comment back and forth with people all the time. What am I missing? 👠👠👠👠

czprints Nami. My question is about bundles. When someone adds items to a bundle am I supposed to do something? I see people adding my items to bundles but they never process the sale.
Jun 12Reply
nami001
nami001 @sweetsuccess Hi Justine, great question. You don't do anything until they've completed the transaction. Often times people will add items to the bundle to see how much it'll be but most often they push the button by mistake because it's right under the "like" & "share" button. This happens to me often. Once they've completed the transaction, you'll see it in your newsfeed & you'll receive an email. Hope this helps. Aloha 💕

Since trade transactions aren't supported, Posh can't and won't intervene if something was to go wrong. Hope this helps. Happy Poshing...

Jun 14Reply

nami001 @kdollystyles Good morning PFF, unfortunately your host picks can only be listings that are for sale. Listings that are marked "not for sale" or "ISO" or "party listings are also not allowed. The other day, a host posted her "Meet the Posher" listing in the host pick showroom lol. Have a lovely day xoxo

nami001 @appasgirl Good morning Patty. For the cute cover picture I used an app called Line Deco. It's actually wall paper for your cell. nami001 @chic_people1 Hi Jenny 🤗 thanks for reaching out. First and foremost, you need to take down all the men's items as that's not allowed to be sold here. Read the above pics to know what you can and can't sell. Your title is searchable thru Google where it has the potential to reach thousands of people so you should maximize it. Instead of titling it "black & white shoes", title it Black & White Sandal Heels by Carlos Santana...cont
Jun 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @chic_people1 Always maximize the title space it's there to help you get exposure and again searchable on the Internet. Also be more descriptive, read some of my listings to get an idea. Always include measurements, heel height and note any flaws. Take pics of the flaws as well. Use collages so you can include even more pics. Give as much info as possible. Share other Posher's listings & they'll return the favor...cont
Jun 16Reply
nami001
nami001 @chic_people1 Most won't follow or share your closet because of all the noncompliant items as they risk losing their status with Posh. Self sharing is also important so make sure you share your own listings a few times a day. Aloha and happy Poshing xoxo

nami001
nami001 @chic_people1 You're welcome! When you take down the noncompliant items you should see your follower base increase. Jun 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @eddylin Hi Linda! When you share an item from your cell, there's an option to "share to your network" under "share to followers". Select Pinterest and it'll ask for permission to link Posh to Pinterest. Once you link your 2 accounts, you can share to Pinterest. Same as the computer. If you're sharing from the computer, there's a list of social media across the screen, just select Pinterest. Hope you're doing well. Thank you for reaching out. Aloha xoxo

Jun 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @pamelapat8 Hi Pam! Great question. You ship it in Priority Mail boxes that you get from the post office for free. If you don't have a Priority Mail box, you can use a regular box. The shipping label will have a P on it which means Priority Mail. The post office also Flat Rate Priority Mail boxes but you can't use that so be careful when picking up boxes. You can also order from their website for free and they'll deliver it as well...cont

highheelheaven
highheelheaven @nami001 hey hey girl! 😘 been a while. I finally began selling and not just buying 🤑 I have a question. I had a girl buy three items over a two day period because she was having trouble with payment card. When they all finally went thru they were separate purchases and 3 separate shipping labels. I made up for her cost by throwing in another item, but now I'm afraid if I send everything together because those labels won't be tracked I won't get paid?
Jun 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @highheelheaven Hi Deb! If you haven't sent it out yet, cancel the order. You can make a bundle so the buyer will only have to pay for 1 shipping. If you don't use all 3 shipping labels then you're are correct, there is no way to track the package & you won't get paid. In fact Posh will cancel the transactions of the labels that aren't scanned after a certain amount of time. 😘
Jun 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @highheelheaven Hi again, I see you already have a bundle price in place. If this transaction is with the girl who said she her credit card was flagged because of high volume buying, something doesn't seem right. If you haven't sent it, cancel the order and have her add everything to her cart. She'll be able to check out easily and will get the 20% off you're offering on bundles. IMO, it seems a little suspicious.
Jun 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @highheelheaven If you want to go through with the transaction, cancel and have her add to her cart, don't send it till tomorrow. You have the option of canceling the order completely. Posh will not penalize you for this. Let me know how it works out & what you decide to do. Have a great week. Aloha xoxo
Jun 29Reply
highheelheaven
highheelheaven Thanks @nami001 we got it all figured out. I creatively gave her a discount by throwing in a fourth item for free in the last shipmemt. She bought separately as her purchases were pending while posh updated her credit card. Then over a two day period they approved them one at a time not in a bundle and I did not want to cancel anything because as each label came I just shipped it out. Thanks for all the advice 😘👠

maethecat1 @maethecat1 hi ya emi!!! How are you? Is there a quick way to share closets? I usually go to a fellow posher's item and share. Any other way this can be done?
Jun 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 Hi Diane 🤗 I'm doing well. How about you? The easiest way to share is from your newsfeed. You'll see someone you're following has shared their listing or perhaps another's listing. These are Posher's that are active at the moment. If you share their listing they'll most likely want to return the Posh ❤️ but since you're not selling yet, they'll most likely follow you instead. Once you start selling, this is one of the effective ways of getting exposure for your closet...cont
Jun 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @maethecat1 If you're on the computer, it'll show you who shared the listing you see in your news feed. This means that person is on Posh at that moment. The person's listing they're sharing doesn't mean that person is on. I usually share both closets though. Once you start selling, share groups are another way to effectively get your items sold. When are you going to start? Big hugs xoxo
Jun 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @highheelheaven Yay! I'm so glad it worked out. It seems your buyer is new and didn't know to add to her cart to get your bundle discount. Congrats on your sales though! nami001 @honeydewcrystal Hi there, as far as I can tell you're Posh compliant. I don't see where you are breaking the rules. Your NIB make-up is fine. Did she tell you what listings are violating Posh rules? I'm curious as to what she's seeing that I'm not seeing. I"m going to go check your closet again but just wanted to send you a quick message to let you know I saw your message. Give me a sec. Oh and you should mark the "sold" YSL as not for sale, just in case someone purchases it. brb
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @honeydewcrystal Hi again, I went over your closet and I don't see where you are breaking any Posh rules. Yes, in the past you have but Poshers are pretty forgiving especially when it comes to newcomers who aren't aware of the rules. Mistakes happen and as long as you're following the rules now, people are going to follow you. I honestly can't tell you what the other Posher sees that I don't. I've noticed things in your sold like swatched lipstick..cont
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 but as I said, you're aware of the rules now. You have an awesome share count and are pretty active within the community. People want to follow Posher like you plus you have a cute closet. My advice is to make a listing saying you weren't aware of Posh rules but you are not a Posh Rule's Girl and are Posh compliant. This is just for those who might assume you'll sell nail polish or swatched make-up again. Out of curiosity, does this closet who said she won't follow you have a high share count?
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 Don't worry about 1 person not following you. You obviously spread Posh love with such an impressive share count. Posh is pretty forgiving when it comes to not knowing the ropes. Hope this helps. Don't worry about that person who said she wasn't going to follow you. What she should've done is help you become compliant not say she's not following you. I'll follow you though lol. Hope this helps. Reach out any time ok? @honeydewcrystal read above
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @honeydewcrystal - Aww you're so welcome. Thank you for making my day! I think the Posher assumes it's a lotion or cream because of the box but if she read the title it says "stick" & if she took the time to look at the pictures it's clearly not in any violation. Instead of telling you "and others" she should mentor you and tell you what is in violation. Don't worry though, as far as I can tell, you're good to go. Make a listing saying you weren't aware of Posh rules but are not
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 now (not the above not..sorry) committed to being a Posh Rule's Girl and put it at the top of your closet. Keep it at the top of your closet. Push all your non-compliant items to the bottom of your closet, keep those at the bottom. As soon as you get that listing up, I'm going to help you get more exposure for your closet. I'll tag you with upcoming parties with the hopes you'll get a HP! Yay!
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @honeydewcrystal Ooops, I should've asked, are you already being tagged with party notices? If not I'd love to include you. Let me know ok? Oh and read above too
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @honeydewcrystal Well then it's even more disheartening that a "suggested user" wouldn't reach out to help and mentor you. How many followers does she have? A rule of thumb is to have more shares than followers. A suggested user is recognized for helping others as well as the things you listed. Unfortunately you can't delete sold listings so just push it to the bottom. Thank you for all the shares wow!!
Jul 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @honeydewcrystal - It really is my pleasure. Most of the women on her are super friendly and want you to succeed including myself. I love seeing how enthusiastic you are and you seem to be thoroughly enjoying your Posh fashion journey. I'm going to start including you in my party tags and I'll tag you with Posh etiquette when it comes to parties etc. Have a lovely evening!

Jul 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @redrem Hi Rachel, great question. When I go on vacation I change all of my listings to "not for sale". My listings will still be visible just not purchasable. A seller has 7 days to send out a purchase before Posh will either cancel the order or give the buyer the option to cancel. I wouldn't want to inconvenience a buyer by not being able to send out an item right away. Some sellers don't do this though especially sellers with a ton of listings. Hope this helps. Aloha xoxo

nami001 @mommyz1 Hi Zina, thank you for reaching out. I use a couple of apps for overlaying the fonts (like you see above) on the pictures: PicsArt, BeFunky & Rhonna. It's free in the App store. Rhonna has templates but I use an app called Line Deco for cute ones (like the one here). Line Deco is actually wall paper for your cell but you can download it to your camera roll and then use it as a template for making cute advertisements.
Aug 01Reply
nami001
nami001 @mommyz1 I mostly use Rhonna to overlay texts on my listings but the others are just as good BeFunky and PicsArt are great for collages too. PicsArt has "doodles" that you can add to your listings like the hearts. When posting a listing you want to take as much detailed pictures as possible and this is where collages come handy. I hope this helps and reach out any time you need help. Have a great week. Aloha xoxo

shopanon
shopanon Also, I'm not sure about "tagging"..I just go to comment on any page in someone's closet to thank them..where do you type the name? Sorry if you answered these questions a hundred times..too many posts to read😶
Sep 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopanon Hi Mb, welcome to Posh! Great questions. Yes, you should share your own items several times a day. When you self share your items, you're putting your listing at the top of the category and brand. When you don't self share, your listings gets pushed down under others that are self sharing. Essentially this puts your listing at the bottom and you want to bring it to the top. Also share your listings to Posh parties..continues
Sep 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopanon When you share other Posher's listings they'll return the favor which exposes your closet to their followers. It's a great way to pick up sales and followers. A good gauge is to have more shares than followers because this tells the community that you're active and that if they share your closet, you'll return the favor. Share a lot. Most of not all of my sales come from sharing other Posher's listings.....cont
Sep 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopanon As for tagging, you should get into the habit of tagging which simply means putting the @ mark in front of a closet name, like I did for you here. If I didn't tag you, you wouldn't have seen my msgs to you unless you come back to this listing. You can see any comments that are made on your listings but buyers can't see the comments unless you tag them. When buyers ask questions, make sure to tag them so they'll get the message..cont
Sep 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopanon I always tag closets even if it's in their closet - just a habit but a good one to have. You don't want to miss a sale because a buyer didn't get your reply. Thank you for reaching out and I'm here if you ever need help. No question is ever too silly so ask away ok? I'm in Hawaii & if I don't answer right away it's because of the time difference. Have a great day. Aloha xoxo
Sep 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopanon Oops almost forgot your other question. As for taking pictures, it really depends on what works best for you. I prefer to flat lay my items because I have better lighting and I can style the cover. For the remaining pics, I use a form but hangers work just as well. When listing an item, try to take as many pics as possible. Collages are awesome since you can get more pics of the item. I use BeFunky and Pic Collage a lot and it's free.. Cont
Sep 05Reply
nami001
nami001 @shopanon When you visit a closet, look at how the cover is styled and how the seller is displaying their items. You can get some ideas for your own closet. Look into downloading some free collage apps so you can show more of the items when you need too. Hope this helps. Aloha and good night from Hawaii (well morning but bed time for me lol)

nami001 @cohenjohnny Hi Rosemary, thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry your seller isn't communicating with you. If you check the status of your order what does it say? Did you receive an email from Posh telling you it has been shipped? You can check the status of your purchase by clicking on "My Purchases" Here it should say "shipped" if it doesn't say shipped...continues

nami001
nami001 @cohenjohnny and says "pending USPS" scan, then the seller has sent but the post office hasn't scanned it yet. A seller has 7 days to send your item to you but most send within a couple of days. Since your seller isn't communicating with you, you can report a problem by clicking on the transaction. You have the option to cancel the transaction and will be refunded. I'm so sorry you met with a seller that isn't communicating with you.
Oct 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @cohenjohnny Pls know most sellers take Posh very seriously and send their packages right away. The best thing to do is report this to Posh and ask for a full refund. Tell them the reason being is that the seller hasn't sent the item and you have no communication from them. Report it now before the weekend. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help in any way. Aloha from Hawaii xoxo

belltwinz Hi there. 🙋 ISO a mentor. I've gotten lost. I juggled with real life and Poshing for a few days. What is the culture and attitude about shares? I feel like a felon when I miss them and are we outcast forever? Is there redemption and forgiveness here. I don't want my closet ruined before it even gets started. I was hoping to make something serious of Poshing someday. But it's a lot to learn and feels overwhelming and unforgiving if you mess up. PLEASE ADVISE!! Thank you

nami001
nami001 @belltwinz Hi there 🤗 thank you for reaching out. Sorry about the delay. I live in Hawaii and there's a bit of a time difference. As for shares, at times it does get a bit difficult to keep up and most people are forgiving and won't hold it against you. I try to go through my newsfeed a couple of times a day & return shares but I'm sure I do miss a lot. Posher's actually gauge your activity by how many shares you have. A good number is to have more shares than followers..cont
Oct 25Reply
nami001
nami001 @belltwinz This tells other you engage w/the community which also helps you build followers. Did something happen to make you feel Poshers are unforgiving about shares? You have a really good share count. Most ppl here want you to succeed (myself included) and will help you. I be by your closet a bit later and introduce you to some wonderful Poshers. Reach out anytime you need help. Aloha xoxo

belltwinz @nami001 thanks so much for that response. I've been a bit heartbroken last few days. I was in a share group and fell behind due to family and Life issues which I fully disclosed openly and honestly. But. While most understood some didn't and even blocked me. My feelings are so hurt. I really liked my group. Still do. But I guess I messed up. So. I'd love a 2nd chance if you can refer me to others. I'm new and make lots of mistakes but I own up to them and keep trying.

belltwinz @nami001 and YES. PLEASE CHECK MY STATS. MY CLOSET. MY SHARES. MY LOVE NOTES. CHECK IT ALL!! I want to be AWESOME like you guys are. O want to be proud and successful. But......I need to be forgiven and supported. I'm not perfect.
Oct 25Reply
nami001
nami001 @belltwinz I kinda thought it might be a share group you were referring to. Shares groups are strict when it comes to sharing but people understand life happens and some are forgiving. When you sign up for a share group & aren't able to complete your portion of shares, let the group know right away & then make up the shares as soon as you can. Some share groups do check your shares to see if you've shared them or not. They can do this by looking at your shares.
Oct 25Reply
nami001
nami001 @belltwinz What type of share group are you looking for? I think the ones where you share only on the day you sign up for might be good. I know of a good one that you share only on the day you sign up but sometimes the group is large which is good too since you'll get a lot of exposure but it's time consuming. There are groups that share by category as well. Then there's groups that are revolving meaning you sign up to share for the week.
Oct 25Reply
nami001
nami001 @belltwinz Since I'm in Hawaii, I only participate in share groups that let's me share until midnight my time. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll help you find a share group that fits your schedule. Don't worry about being blocked. It happens all the time. Ppl block for various reasons and yes it's hurtful but you know what it's ok cuz there are others who are going to follow you. When I first started I was blocked by a party host because I congratulated her on a host pick.
Oct 25Reply
nami001
nami001 @belltwinz I didn't realize she was the host. My point is, ppl will block for whatever reason but don't take it personally. I see that you're a serious buyer, I certainly wouldn't block you. People make mistakes esp when they are new, some people are forgiving & some aren't. The ones that aren't, oh well, u don't need them anyway right? You'll meet more supportive people any way. Our paths crossed right? So now you have a friend. I gotta work but will give u some share groups later. Aloha
Oct 25Reply
belltwinz
belltwinz @nami001 I was upfront about missing shares. I thought that meant something. But in the end it didn't. I am a single working mom with 4 sons. Including 6 y.o. twins. I have sports. Events. Sickness doctors. I cater and event plan. And my house and car seem possessed always something.
Oct 26Reply
belltwinz
belltwinz @nami001 This is no pity party for me. I'm fine with my life. But I don't need people who act like there is nothing on earth but Posh. I'm up 2am catching up on shares and responses. I am serious. But. I am human.
Oct 26Reply
belltwinz
belltwinz @nami001 I'd like a share group with flexible hours and not everyday. I can't commit to that successfully. ESPECIALLY large groups. If you have 100 people and you have to do a minimum of 10 shares per closet per day. That's a lot of time. So. That's probably not the best group for me. Also. I share pretty well on my own. I.share no matter what. I don't have to be told when where or how. I just like the idea of groups and meeting new people. I love the social friendly piece.

nami001 @vlsavell There's no photomark for Posh and I'm assuming you're talking about the watermark (my closet name on the pic) ? I use a free app called BeFunky. You can edit the photo like I did by adding my closet name and you can also make collages so you can fit more pics in one slot. If you look at some of my listings, I have more than 4 photos. Also PicArt is a good app too

If so, Posh doesn't have one but there are plenty in the App store. I use BeFunky and PicsArt. If you think your computer was hacked you might want to get virus protection for your laptop and make sure to always keep it updated.

mustang_711
mustang_711 Still haven't sold anything. Why is that?
Nov 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @mustang_711 Hi Steph, I went thru your closet & there are a couple of things. To gain more exposure for your closet you should share other Posher's listings a lot & they'll return the favor which leads to more followers & potential buyers. Your share count should be higher than your follower count. However your closet has a few noncompliance items & most won't share back since this violates Posh policy...
Nov 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @mustang_711 follow Posh's forum @official_forum for helpful closet tips. The pics above list what's allowed to be sold here. Also you should maximize your title, this is what people search for. Look at my titles. I maximize it as much as possible. E.g. Brand, color, item etc. You also should provide more pictures and be as detailed as possible with your description. Try to take pics with natural light as well....
Nov 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @mustang_711 the more care and thought you put into your listings the more the buyer will appreciate it. Cover shots are very important. You want to entice people to click further. Since you just started your closet last month, give it some time. It took awhile for me to make my first sale. The holidays are coming up & ok sure you'll get some sales soon. Don't get discouraged. It took me almost a month before my first sale. Hang in there it'll happen! Xoxo

bmc6212
bmc6212 @nami001 hi again. I keep seeing fellow posher' saying looking for posh compliant closets for potential HP' what does that mean and do I meet the criteria? Any recommendations for improvement in my closet would be so appreciated, thank you! ☺️
Nov 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @bmc6212 Hi 🤗 Posh compliant means following Posh rules & only selling things that are allowed. The pics above ⬆️ lists what's not allowed here. HP means host pick. Every day Poshers like you & me, host virtual Posh parties. These host look for HP to showcase during their party. When a host selects a listing it'll be shown exclusively in the HP show room. This is a special honor as the HP showroom has a lot more traffic than the other showrooms & gets a lot more attention ⬇️
Nov 23Reply
bmc6212
bmc6212 @nami001 thank you ☺️
Nov 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @bmc6212 Hosts can only select from closets that are compliant or they risk their status with Posh. This is why u see listings saying Posh compliant closets only looking for HP. There's a virtual party going on now Best in Bags. Click on shop-party-host pick & you'll be taken to the HP showroom. Every listing u see (need to refresh browser) is being posted by the hosts in real time. I did a quick peruse of ur closet & the only thing is u sold a curling iron which is against Posh rules
Nov 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @bmc6212 Posh is pretty forgiving when you start. You want to get a HP not only does it highlight your listing, it's a great way to pick up followers & buyers. I suggest making a listing saying you're a Posh rules girl & say you've sold a noncompliant item in the past but are now compliant. Hosts take their gig seriously & do go through closets thoroughly & comments as well. Put that at the top of your closet so hosts know. Hope this helps & reach out anytime ok? Happy Thanksgiving xoxo

amygsplane @nami001 , was wondering how to do Retail , successfully . I sold almost my whole closet & have heard people don't make profits wholesale . You seem to be with it 👍and I love to get feedback at your convenience .
Nov 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @amygsplane Hi Amy, to sell retail you'll have to first get a Boutique Certification from Posh. Retail means you buy directly from the distributor & not the retailer. For example you couldn't list a Coach bag as retail since there is no distributor. There's a section on this in Guide to Poshmark. Lots of helpful info to get you started. Every once in awhile Posh opens up it's Boutique portal & you can buy things there to resell as retail.
Nov 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @amygsplane To apply for the certificate you'll just have to fill a form once you do that you can start selling retail. As for looking for distributors besides what's on Posh, I've heard of people searching on the internet for distributors. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Have a fab Sunday. Aloha from Hawaii xoxo

Or sometimes I just ignore it and not say anything 😜. Hope this helps. Reach out any time ok? Happy Poshing xoxo

thelocker How do you become a suggested user? And or a host?
Dec 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @thelocker Hi, good question! To be SU, you need to have good rating, be Posh compliant, interact w/Posh community, be polite w/ your interactions & be a mentor to others. In essence a SU is an extension of Posh so always conduct yourself in a professional manner. Having a high share count is also helpful. A good gauge is to have a lot more shares than followers. If you feel you meet the criteria you can contact Posh & ask them to consider you.. cont ⬇️
Dec 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @thelocker To be a host, you need to have been on Posh for at least 3 months & be Posh compliant. A high share count helps but really isn't required. You can send an email to Posh to request to host @ posh dot com (I think that's it) that info is all at @official_forum or @pm_editor once they get your email, they'll check your closet for compliancy & will put you on a waiting list. It takes awhile for them to get to your name on the list though. Hope this helps. Aloha xoxo

outfit101 Hi PFF I was hoping you could give me some advice on ways to increase my sales. I have spent a lot of time being more active over the last month or so and although I have been getting more traffic, I'm not seeing many conversions. I would appreciate any advice you can offer! 💞💞💞 I've been reading through this post and one thing I've incorporated is increasing my self shares. Let me know what you think when you get a chance☺️👯🌴📦💟
Dec 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @outfit101 Hi PFF! Great question! I wish I had the magically formula lol but here's my take. Join share groups especially now because of the Christmas season. I can introduce you to a few that don't have time constraints & you can sign up daily or there's weekly too. Share your listings to social media like IG, Twitter or FB. I don't have FB but from time to time share to IG & Twitter. Connect w/other Posher's on this platform too. Continues ⬇️
Dec 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @outfit101 Price your items so that it gives you a little wiggle room to drop it by 10% so it hits the newsfeed of everyone who liked it. When you have a lot of likes on something, drop the price around payday when people are most likely to purchase. Share groups are probably the best way to get your items seen though. Oh also welcome newcomers & they'll most likely check out your closet without you asking them too ⬇️
Dec 04Reply
nami001
nami001 @outfit101 You can find new closet by clicking on find people. You'll see new closet and just joined. If they have a Meet The Posher listing, welcome them and follow them. They'll see your message. I don't think it's a good idea to ask them to check out your closet but it's up to you. I see a lot of people doing that but for me it seems pushy. If I think of anything else I'll let you join but do join share groups. I'll tag you with a few if you want. Happy Sunday! 🤗

mandysbtq Hi, how do you get a host pick ? :)
Jan 15Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Hi there, sorry for the late response. I was on vacation in Japan for a month & just got back. I went through your closet & a few things I'd advise is to: maxmize your title & write what your selling since it's searchable on Google as well. People probably won't google or search for price drop. For title: brand, color, item (such as dress), size & condition if it all fits. See my titles for reference
Jan 18Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh as for your description, include measurements since sizing is sometimes different with brands. Note any flaws. Try to maximize the amount of characters allowed and give as mush info as possible. If you do this a potential buyer won't have to ask questions about size & what it's made of and will most likely buy instead of waiting for an answer. Hope this makes sense. Also your allowed 4 pics. Try to show different angles like front, back, sides or any flaws.
Jan 18Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh If you need more pics space, use a collage app (free in the App Store). Provide as much detail and info as possible. A buyer will appreciate your thoughtfulness. Hope this helps. Sorry, I'm still a bit jet lagged. Have a awesome day xoxo

nami001 @mandysbtq Hi Mandy, sorry for the delay. I just got back from a month long vacation in Japan. To get a HP, host look for closets that are compliant w/Posh rules & closets that have a high share count. When a closet has a high share count, this let's the host know they engage with the community. A good gauge is to have more shares than followers. Most importantly though is closets that follow the rules.
Jan 18Reply
nami001
nami001 @mandysbtq Host also look for thoughtful cover shots since their host picks are an extension of themselves. The best way to get a host pick is to engage more w/the community by sharing other Posher's listings. Attend Posh parties & congratulate recipients & share their HP to your followers. Sometimes you might come across an upcoming host & she just might pick something from your closet. Also follow @official_forum, great closet tips plus

mishmesh @nami001 Thanks son much for checking out my shop and for all the advice! I will definitely try to do measurements when I list now.....Japan! Wow! How exciting! I bet it was so nice there. I would love to visit someday.....I was camping in a mountain so just now was able to reply to you...
Jan 22Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 .I try to attend the posh parties and share, share, share. I also lower prices a lot, but it doesn't seem to help. I try to do a sale for a few hours and then raise it back up because otherwise I've found the item gets lowered to nothing. I joined one share group, but haven't had any sales from it yet, although a few people have got sales from my shares so that always makes me happy. ❤
Jan 22Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Japan was a lot of fun especially being there for the New Year's traditions. Hope you can visit someday. As for sales, it'll come, don't get discouraged. The best way to get sales is to share other Posher's listings a lot & they'll return the favor. Also self share your own listings several times a day to keep your listings refreshed in categories and brands. I try to self share at least 3x a day. Your listings are also searchable courtesy of Google...
Jan 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh try to maximize your description and include brand, color and size. Whatever key words you use in your description will show up in Google. Also maximize your title. If you were to copy and paste one of your titles in Google search, that listing will show up. Most people don't search for "price drop" but search for brand, color and size. Take as many pics as possible from different angles. As for price dropping, best times to do that is on Fridays.
Jan 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Always set a price that gives you a little wiggle room. I know it's hard because you drop prices until you really can't drop prices anymore. I drop prices when there's a lot of likes on a listing and when it's around pay day. When I drop prices I drop by 10% so that it hits the newsfeed of everyone who's liked it. Sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't. For now, don't drop prices until Posh does a discounted shipping.
Jan 23Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Your prices are reasonable. Just keep sharing and sales will come I promise. If you want to join some other share groups, let me know & I'll introduce you to some. Sorry for the long message. Have a wonderful week. Aloha from Hawaii xoxo
Jan 23Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 thank you so much for all your tips. I have changed most of my titles for my listings and added brand names and more specifics. Hopefully that will help. mishmesh I had a question. I am not understanding what things are considered boutique? I had the choice to click this when I listed a few items and didn't because I wasn't sure what was boutique? Does this just mean new with tags or that I bought it from a boutique store in town?
Jan 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh great question. Boutique is when you purchase directly from the manufacturer at wholesale eliminating a 2nd party. E.g. If you bought something from the mall or a boutique it's not "Boutique" but if you bought it from a wholesaler then it's Boutique. Essentially for it to be Boutique you're the middle man. Hope this helps xoxo
Jan 26Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 oooohhhhhhh. All this time I thought it meant that it was bought at a boutique or a name brand item. Thanks so much for explaining that. You are awesome. ❤

mishmesh What should I do if I accidentally click add to bundle when sharing a seller's listing? Does that mean it has already created a bundle? 😢 It was someone I help share regularly with.
Jan 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Hi there, don't worry, nothing will happen unless you add another item and proceed to check out. I do that alllllll the time when I'm sharing. When that happens, just ignore it & it'll go away.
Jan 26Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh I forgot to mention that the seller sees you added an item to a bundle but didn't complete a check out. This is actually not a problem or any inconvenience to a seller they just see notification. Some sellers will ask you if you're going to check out or if your interested. Just tell them you were sharing for them & pushed the wrong button. 🤗 xoxo
Jan 26Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 thanks so much! I didn't want to leave a comment under their listing. I've had people add to a bundle and never heard from them before. Maybe they were doing the same thing. I was trying to share too fast, lol....hope you are having a great day. Appreciate the help. ❤
Jan 26Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh What if I have lowered the prices for a flash sale? I've done this on a few items then changed the price back to where it was when the sale was over. Does this ruin it for the free shipping later?
Jan 26Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh This one is kind of a silly question. I've seen things in people's shops that are not for sale. I'm not sure how they do that or why they do. Are some just showcasing items they own?
Jan 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Hi again, the only way to trigger a discount in shipping is to lower the price by 10% of the last lowest price you had it listed at. For example if you had it at $100 and dropped the price to $90 and then back to $100, you'd have to drop the price by 10% from $90 since it was the last lowest price. When you do that it'll trigger a shipping discount (sometimes) & notification to people who liked it. As for items listed not for sale...
Jan 27Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Sellers mark them not for sale for various reasons. Maybe they decided not to sell or they're holding it for someone (not recommended). To do this, go to the listing and click on edit. Scroll to the bottom & you can mark it not for sale. If you're going on vacation, you can mark everything not for sale through seller tools tab I think. This way you won't have to edit each one individually. Cool right? xoxo

Jan 27Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 how have you been? That is good to know about marking the item that way for vacation....it seems I've been working my thumbs like crazy trying to get as many followers as possible. It seems like I get maybe one follower for every four that I follow. I noticed some sellers have something like 330k followers and are only following around 600 people. How is this possible? Have they just unfollowed people after collecting their followers? It seems that would take forever to do! 😮
Jan 28Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 is clicking tediously the only way to get followers? I feel like I'm constantly clicking the blue buttons lol. I've spent hours and hours working on it and I think it will eventually get me more sales (I hope).
Jan 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Hi! I'm doing good but can you believe I still have jet lag from Japan, lol. As for followers, closets that have over 300k followers have been on Posh for a long time & they're probably Suggested Users. A Suggested User is someone who Posh recognizes as an outstanding Posher. Whenever you go on Posh there is a list of closers that Posh recommends you follow, these are SUs. Every time you open the app, it'll have different closets to follow....
Jan 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Even if you're not a SU, you can still get followers. The best way is to share other Posher's listings a lot. Attend Posh parties, congratulate host picks & share their HPs to your followers. Lots of Posher's like to follow closets that have high share counts because this means they engage w/the community. A good gauge is to have more shares than followers. I usually follow closets that have a high share count or they're style matches mine.
Jan 28Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh I'm not sure if the ones you're seeing with lots of followers but only follow a couple hundred delete followers or not. I don't do that. I seen a closet that had over 1M followers but only was following like 10 closets once. Found out she was one of the founders of Posh lol. Best way to get followers though is to share & the same for sales too xoxo

nami001 @kden_wallace Hi PFF! Happy New Year! Yes, my grandma's memorial was beautiful. It was more like a party with relatives and very close family friends. Japan was a lot of fun & being there just made me miss it even more. It was super cold too. I missed the snow. It snowed everywhere but where I was! Everywhere I went it was beautiful weather while I'm hoping for rain or snow. My family said I'm either lucky or have bad luck lol. Thank you pff for the warm welcome back. Big hugs xoxo
Jan 28Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 that makes sense. I didn't think about the ones following few but having a lot of followers being posh management, but i bet that is the case. Makes sense now lol..... Also, to lower the shipping or get free shipping on an item I even tried listing another item like what was suggested on a google article and never was free shipping activated even though the price was brought was below the 20 percent range.
Jan 29Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 Is there a reason for that? Is it all random? Is free shipping not activated much anymore? :(
Jan 29Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Sometimes Posh will randomly discount shipping or offer free shipping when a listing drops in price. Right now Posh isn't doing any special discounts on shipping so any shipping discount would be random. I've noticed that if you have an expensive item & drop the price then it sometimes triggers a discount in shipping but not all the time. I've lowered things & there was a shipping discount but others weren't so yes it's random right now....
Jan 30Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh If you like your own listings, you'll see what Posher's who've liked your listing see when you drop the price. They'll get a notification of the price drop and sometimes they'll be a shipping discount but again for now it's totally random since there are no specials going on.

mishmesh
mishmesh Hi, I did what you suggested and have been trying to be better with the titles. Thanks for all your helpful suggestions. Out of curiosity I googled the men's funny underwear one and my pic came up, but it was the uncropped pic for some reason (not the good pic with the border around it). When I clicked on it from google it took me to boxers for sale on Poshmark, but none of them was my item that I clicked on. 😢
Jan 31Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh When you put your title in Google search your listing should show up with the pictures as well. When you click on your picture it, it should take you to the Poshmark site. It should also show up on the web as a link. When I do a search on mine, it shows up so I'm a bit perplexed as to why yours isn't. I'll try it later when I'm near a computer. xoxo
Jan 31Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 I found it in google only phone but it was the uncropped photo before I added the order that posh has for the cover photo and when I clicked on the link it took me to every one else's stuff on Poshmark. I'm not sure why it wasn't directed to my shop. Do you think it was a fluke and most are directed directly? I had never google searched before.
Jan 31Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh @nami001 I usually crop on site since my pics won't always fit otherwise. I use the generic cover shot border or filter on Poshmark, but the photo showed up uncropped, too, so does this mean it doesn't appear as it does on our app? I probably need to google search more to make sure my listings look presentable.
Jan 31Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh I just checked your socks and it's not showing up. I then did a search on my MK ankle boots and it showed up. I clicked on images in Google search. 1 is on Pinterest (someone might have shared to there) and another was on Posh. When I clicked on it, it took me to my closet. I think yours might be a fluke. Have you tried other listings? I try to make my title something that people would search since it'll show up on Google...
Jan 31Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh @mishmesh I know! Do you have "search visibility" turned on or off? I think it might be turned off. Go to your "share settings" and at the bottom it says "search visibility" if you turn that on, it'll be searchable in Google. Click on the bottom right on your closet name & select share settings from there xoxo

nami001 @sntking You're so welcome! I'm sure Ebony will get back to you soon. The share group is reoccurring which means when once you sign up, you'll be assigned a group & that'll be your group. Each day you'll share a different group & will sign out by tagging the group leader, letting them know you have completed shares that day. If you take a peek at the listing, you'll see how people sign out & if you look at the "groups" you'll see the dates and what group they're suppose to share..Aloha

beautychic23 @nami001 Hi there...I have a quick question or two! I dod not know that my RD collection was not Posh Compliant until after it sold. Is there any chance of getting those ever removed? I did receive 5 star rating today and am in hopes that I did not ruin my chances of a possible Host Pick or other neat "Posh" events and/or features! Also, how do I comment if I see someone bundled 2 items? To encourage an offer. I'm pretty reasonable. Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated!
Feb 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @beautychic23 Hi Mary, thank you for reaching out. Your sold items won't be removed from but don't worry. Posh & party hosts understands people make mistakes & they won't penalize you for it. Most hosts do look through closets to make sure they're compliant & as long as you're compliant now, you don't have to worry. You could make a listing saying you weren't aware of the rules but are now Posh compliant & put that at the top of your closet until you get a few host picks under your belt...con
Feb 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @beautychic23 Sometimes when people are sharing they mistakenly hit the bundle button since it's so close to the share button. I don't comment when I see people bundling, I figure it's a mistake since they didn't check out. When I make a mistake a add something to a bundle the owner will usually ask if I'm going to complete check out & I have to tell them it was a mistake, lol. To get more exposure for your closet, share other Posher's listings a lot & they'll return the favor, cont..

Feb 14Reply
nami001
nami001 @beautychic23 This is the best way to get a host pick. Hosts love to discover new closets that haven't had host picks before. Because of your past sale, you should make a listing that says you weren't aware of the rules but are now. Keep this at the top of your closet so hosts see this first. nami001 @beautychic23you should send an email to Posh asking to host a party. It takes about 3 months for them to get to your name on the list. nami001 @beautychic23 Congratulations on your first host pick again! How awesome it that? Make sure to thank the host who gave you the host pick. Another thing hosts do, is check your comments to see if your trading or not (it's not encouraged on Posh) & they'll see your comments thanking the host which shows that you're thoughtful. Also, all the Posher's who stopped by to congratulate you, I saw you thanked them.

mishmesh Hi, how have you been doing? I imagine Hawaii is gorgeous weather right about now. I sooooo want to go back. I've only been twice. lol I didn't want to come back home lol......I had a question for you. I have some children's clothing I wanted to sell, but I have mainly sold my size clothing and I'm afraid that will be a different set of followers. Does posh allows other closets? Do you think it would be too difficult to keep up with it?
Feb 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Hiiiii! I'm doing well, how about you? It's a very breezy 76 degrees here. As for kids clothing, you can open a 2nd closet. Personably I think it's a lot of work because you'll have to manage both accounts separately, sharing & answering questions etc. You don't want to miss a potential sale so you'll have to logout & login to both accounts frequently. Personally I'd add kids clothing to your existing account. You have the follower base & mom's have to ship for themselves too..cont
Feb 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh You might get a buyer who buys kids plus something for herself. Great incentive for bundling. Just my opinion though. I know of several popes who have 2 accounts & tell me it's hard to keep up with but then again they have "boutiques" with a ton of stuff. I'm going to be adding men's to my closet soon & not open a 2nd closet. I'd rather have everything in one closet so I can manage it better. Hope this helps. Have a great weekend xoxo
Feb 19Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh It's pretty close to our weather here in Texas at the moment, but man, I love the beach there! It's so pretty! Thanks so much for the advice. I do think it would be hard to have two closets. I just wasn't sure if buyers would get frustrated having to scroll down a lot to see the items. It would be easier if there was a way to divide I think. I'm anxious to know how the men's clothing goes. Hubby asked me to list some of his clothing, but I wasn't sure lol.
Feb 19Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh How do you handle the shares in the newsfeed? I find I'm spending about 2-3 hours a day doing share backs from scrolling down the newsfeed. Is this normal? Lol it is so time consuming, but hoping it will be worth it.
Feb 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Buyers don't have to scroll down, they can search your closet by selecting women, men or kids. They can also search by category, brand or even color. If your on the computer it's on the left side. From your mobile it's on the upper right hand corner. I always use this feature lol. Sharing from your newsfeed is time consuming & yes it's takes a lot of time but it's the best way to get potential buyers. I also spend a couple of hours a day returning shares so that's normal.
Feb 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh I share from my computer because it's so much more faster & easier. When you pull up a closet, don't own the listing, right hand corner there's arrow looking things, just click on that. Same for the mobile. Don't need to open the listing. Anyway, there is a way to filter categories so don't worry, people will look for what they're interested in
Feb 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Once you lost kids or men's clothing, on the left hand upper corner, it'll say women, kids, men. This let's people know you have these categories. They can just click on it and be directed to that category. From mobile it's a drop down tab. I say list it! My bf wants me to list his clothes too haha.
Feb 19Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh I feel so silly now! I see the drop down menu with categories now. Oh my goodness, that would have helped when I was sharing people's dresses and skirts to the parties today lol.....I tried the computer sharing. You are right!!!! It is soooooo much easier. Just tried it today. I have been using my app the entire time. I didn't know how much easier it would be.....
Feb 19Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh I will most definitely list my husbands clothes for him if he wants me to, though. It's only fair since I took both bedroom closets and painted them pink and fixed them up so girly that he would never want to use them lol. ;-)
Feb 19Reply
mishmesh
mishmesh Oh man i didn't know they were going to have the closet clear out and already put most things on sale for the weekend. I'm realizing I didn't price well with $11 and under items. They won't qualify for the free shipping with price drops. I'm going to think twice about those $11 prices from now on. Lol
Feb 19Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh I didn't know either until I saw your comment. Posh usually doesn't announce when they're going to do a shipping discount. It just pops up on the newsfeed. However right before Christmas they always do shipping discounts. Guess I'm going to have to drop some prices 😽
Feb 20Reply
nami001
nami001 @mishmesh Yea unfortunately usually anything under $15 doesn't qualify for shipping discount. You could always try it and if it doesn't trigger a discount just change it back to the original price. Shipping discounts only qualify for the last historical price. So if you have something listed at $11 now & mark the price up to say $20 & then drop it to $11, it won't trigger a discount. You'll have to discount from $11 the last lowest price you had listed.

beautychic23 @nami001 Quick question for you to get your insight!.. I sold a Tote and actually was rated but after a lengthy amount of time. Poshmark released my funds on the 4th day. Anyway, I've seen listings with "Reposh"...et ...I take it that means bought something & reposting as either they no longer wanted it and/or anything else... That is a great way to keep it in the Posh Community!
Feb 21Reply
beautychic23
beautychic23 @nami001 However, I just saw the said item...No "Reposh" and yes it will sell fast & for more! However, if the buyer/seller does not communicate at all...and given a top rating to me. What do you believe could be the reason for this?
Feb 21Reply
nami001
nami001 @beautychic23 Hi! I saw the listing you're referring to. I don't know why she's re-Poshing. Maybe it wasn't what she thought. I think the reason why she's selling it for more is because she's trying to get back what she paid. After Posh fees/shipping she'll get about $153 & that's only if she sells it for her asking price. It's very rare to get asking price. If it sell for anything less than $200 she won't make back what she paid.

nami001 @beautychic23 I checked her love notes & it doesn't seem like she buys things to resell at a profit. Sometimes people will mention it's a re-Posh and sometimes they don't. Judging from her closet & love notes, I don't think there is anything wrong w/the bag. Plus she rated you & let a love note. I think it's just not what she was expecting and she's trying to recover the monies she put in to it. If something was wrong she would've reached out. Hope this helps. Have a great week. Aloha xoxo

beautychic23 @nami001 Hope you are having a wonderful day! I need help as another PFF has also tried to give advice. I went to my lowest on an MK and have an interested buyer. I only sell Authentic but have heard some so called bad stories about some who question then buy but switch it w/fake. I've never been so worried about letting an item go.

beautychic23 @nami001 I've never been so worried about letting an item go. I have many pics, etc Then I priced it back up to wait for her or not let it go...basically, reserve it for posher. I know we are on different time zones and I am just unsure. Any advice appreciated!

nami001 @beautychic23 I understand your concern & the best way to protect yourself is 1) always include pictures of the authenticity code - all MK bags have it except for the vintage ones. 2) always check out the potential buyers closet. Are they selling replicas? You can kinda get a feel for a person by just looking at their closet. 3) take as many pics as possible. Now you can take 8 but with collages even more...cont

nami001 @beautychic23 4) it's someone you're unsure of, check her closet listings for comments. Sometimes if someone has been scammed they'll post a comment. I always say to go with your gut instinct. I've turned away a few people not a lot because something was off. I normally don't do holds for more than 24 hours unless it's a PFF. Which item are you holding for someone?

nami001 @beautychic23 Found the listing, I understand why your concerned because of what she has posted in her closet. If you sell, make sure to upload a picture of the authenticity code before selling it. She also non-compliant items. I usually stay away from closets like that. Good luck make sure to post that pic. Shipping probably won't discount unless you drop it by a lot.

beautychic23 @nami001 Thank you! I dropped it more than twenty dollars...Had another interest in it but it was low offer. Do I have the right to say no as I was recently told? I also checked about me and the posts were off.

nami001
nami001 @beautychic23 Yes you can say no, you're not obligated to accept offers nor do you have to counteroffer. When I get lowball offers, I simply decline & don't counter. The only time you're obligated to sell is when the item has sold. Regarding the buyer you're unsure of, you're not obligated to sell, you can still say no. Most likely she won't come back but if she does, just explain you can't sell it for any cheaper than you listed it.

alyssapowers61 When you do a trade with someone do you still need a card number in order to do so ?

nami001 @alyssapowers61 Hi there, yes you do because you have to pay for shipping. Poshmark doesn't encourage or support trading. Trades are not protected & they don't intervene in trade transactions. That being said, if you're going to trade make sure to really check out the person your trading with. You can find more Posh closet tips info @pm_editor & official_forum. Hope this helps. Happy Poshing.

nami001 @alyssapowers61 Hi, I see that you've been active within the last hour or so. Just wondering if you've seen my reply to your question. I don't work for Posh and try to help others when I can. It would be nice to know if you've received & read my response to your question. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

prairielane How do you become a suggested seller? Also how does whole sale work? And is it good to buy whole sale? I'm trying to up my sales. Also I have noticed some people take there pics with a white background how can I make my pics look more professional?

nami001 @jamiegems33 Hi, go to @official_forum (Posh's forum) there are loads of info and tips on the questions you're seeking. Some Posher's use a white board as a backdrop to take pics. I use my wood floor & only take pics in the day time with natural light. If you go to Posh's forum & scroll through you'll find info about boutiques, how to become suggested user and photo tips but lots more. Hope this helps. Happy Poshing
